I’m working as an account executive, selling cloud services (iaas, paas, saas). My favourite question when I’m interviewing candidates is - tell me about your biggest failure, what was it, what did do wrong and what lessons did you learn from that situation.
Hello Sergey, thank you for letting us know your favourite question while interviewing! I have watched some videos and they never talked about this question. I am currently looking for a job in the SaaS field. Could you give us more examples of the questions that you like to use to find the perfect worker? Thank you for helping the community!
Patrick I have to thank you. Watched a few of your interview videos and I got offered the job on the spot. I hit them with the “is there any hesitations or concerns on why I wouldn’t be a good fit for this role?” SE told me he’s only done this twice in his 7 years at the company. Thanks again. Can’t wait to start my career
I saw this video late after I have already had my interview and I was anxious because the results aren't out yet but this gave me a lot of confidence that I probably did great and I would have no regrets no matter what the results may be. Thank you
@@BTB16Gaming congratulations and what company did you apply and get the position for! If you don’t mind me asking as well , where did you hunt for these open positions?
Hey Patrick! Love your content! Unless you already made a video on this topic, I'd really love to know how the attire is like in the tech sales industry. From what I've learned so far, it definitely looks like business casual
Patrick, thank you for making this video. I've had a couple interviews that went awry, and I was trying to analyze on how to improve my positioning and pitch. This helps a lot!
Thanks, Patrick! What a great video :D btw, I'm a new subscriber and after watching a couple of your videos, I'm impressed with your communication skills. I have problems with communication skill, most times I find it difficult to convey messages verbally to people. Would you mind sharing tips on how to improve communication skills? Thanks :D
Great video! I can tell you have a lot of integrity by the way you present the information. You want to be helpful, but you also want people to seek meaningful work in an honest manner. Thanks for your insights! I do want to acknowledge one thing: casinos do have values. For example, MGM’s mission is to engage, entertain and inspire. TH-cam, social media, news, entertainment, and education apps have similar values. The marketing and design principles of apps is also similar to casinos because they were inspired by them - see the book Hooked by Nir Eyal. A big challenge for many people today has been reconciling their love and passion for technology with their concerns about values. Not a topic for an interview discussion - but one I may attempt to tackle on my channel. Thanks again for the great advice and inspiration.
Q:"Why do you want to be in sales?" A:"Because I like to talk to people about things without being inconvenienced by actually having to do those things"
