Wow thank you Matthew, this is the best video on the subject I have seen. I am shocked about the cold contacts numbers. For example 6000 emails per day * 250 days = 1.5M. I don't think there is enough agencies in the USA ? Or do you send 5-10 emails per contact to get an appointment?

Yea I email/follow up the same ones 5 times (6 emails total) in my campaigns
I had about 7300 contacts for those paid ad agencies
Eventually loosened the criteria a bit because yes I did work through those

It would be good to see your company structure as well: who's doing what, how the reporting works, task assignment, etc. And please make the text larger - you have lots of white space on those pages. Don't be shy, you may realize how to optimize it if you talk us through it, or even get good advice here. "When one person teaches, both people learn"

First one was ecom, second one was lawyer, third one was ecom
Ecom is too competitive now compared to what it used to be and ecom stores are struggling and don't pay what they used to

You need at least 6 roles (same person can do multiple roles) to run it once it is created

To be honest/realistic, I had a lot of money to start with before even starting this agency so had advantage
But it was always profitable from minute 1 too

Man...I've been in the direct response industry as a copywriter for 15 years. I work for one of the largest financial publishing companies in the world. They pay me a $15,000 retainer and 4% gross profits. My best year I made $320,000.
I know how to look at pretty much any business's funnel and tweak it to get better results. And yet I've never thought about doing this.
Screw it I'm getting started first thing in the morning. I can't believe I have all the necessary skills and have been selling myself short this long.

I am interested in your business sale. From this demonstration it seems you had a huge day to day involvement inside the business and you were the face of all the content and courses.... How was your company worth so much without you in it?
This video was not meant for TH-cam originally. Recorded it for something else and randomly put it on TH-cam and never expected it to get more than 100 views.
It glosses over a lot of stuff. There were 16 people in USA/Canada and 60 overseas, and they put a really good COO in my business for me when they bought.
Content was the smallest part of my acquisition (compared to ads, outreach, partnerships)
Course was very small compared to the rest.
Face was all over them indeed but not significant.

No i did not do cold calling at all. I made 3 cold calls in my life then gave up

There are total 4-5 million Shopify stores...
So after few months you will be out of leads, what would you do in that case when you have no one to reach out to?

How can a one person operation handle all of this? How would you go from 0 to 10-20k mrr?
After you set it up it is easier to keep it running than you might think
But no it’s a 3-4 person job
The answer will probably be boring
1. Pick a skill you can charge for
2. Learn how to do it
3. Email and message people to get on a call
4. Sell them
