The most challenging always comes down to sales and account churn. Award winning agencies have a mindset other than the quantity game.

I liked the way how the whole process is presented. I have been doing the same but what was missing is this '3 step process' framework. I read a book called The E-Myth, which is about 'why a business needs a system'. I believe this video and the book can be very helpful for any aspiring Entrepreneur who wants to start his own business. It is very easy to start a business, but it is very hard to maintain it.

I'm Tim Hally, I'm the Co-Founder of Munq Creative out of Massachusetts. I started this dream two years ago and I'm super zealous about helping others realize their vision. The Futur has been the single most important resource to growing my business. I'm at a stage where I'm learning that I need to teach others and this video came at the perfect time. I didn't realize how much f a bottleneck I was: delegating has been the single most important thing I have done!

This is perfect timing, man. I've almost deviated from my vision and dreams of making our agency work, but I've decided to stick with it, and now I'm watching you again, Chris. You've been helping me take my career and the agency to another level. And this is coming from a high-school dropout kid who didn't have much going on other than art until life clicked! Just a few months before the world flipped with covid 😅. Much love, man. Keep up the excellent work, and may god bless you and your team for all you've been giving back to the community.

Don't. These companies make money selling you courses and info. Not agency work. Don't believe the lies man. Agency space is SOOOOOO freaking saturated is not even funny. Probably the most competitive space in the world. Why? Super super super low barrier to entry. No cost to startup except $10 for a domain and hosting. I did this exact thing, and then she got poached by a bigger agency just as she was becoming autonomous enough to manage accounts herself. 250 hours of one-on-one training down the drain. The other agency could offer more money, a nicer office, bigger clients... If she'd asked me for advice I would have told her to go and work there, as she was in the early stages of her career and it was a level up for her. But those other factors the other agency could offer are missing from this advice. As an agency, you are competing in an employer market.

One that I was an early adopter with had been so great that I've already been actively endorsing to all other accountants I deal with.
So much so, that I'll be doing that with then at a conference. When the product is that good and the fit is right, it just works.

Very comprehensive and condensed, thanks a lot! The final part of the video cannot be neglected: let those young people go, don't be jealous and don't put your sticky fingers on the client during this process. The client and the young follower will even respect you more and will reach out to you only when things get interesting.

Good point about how to multiply yourself. Clearly you are supposed to hire people to do some of the work, and the principle "I do, We do, You do" will enable you to pass on knowledge and also filter people on their competence area and their dedication level. I remember reading these things from other sources, but didn't put the pieces together like this. Thank you!

Love this form of content! Thank you Chris and The Futur Team!
I've been watching videos from The Futur for 6 years now and it's amazing to see how they've adapted their content over the years to cater to their followers/subscribers forms of learning. From the long-form 1hr conversation/presentation style videos, to the mid-form tutorial/explainer/video essay style videos like these, to now shorts. The Futur arrived where they are today, becoming the model for all design agencies, because they built a culture where personal growth & development is at the top of their manifesto - not only for their clients, but for us the audience and, most importantly, their team. They should be the North Star for not only design agencies but any business looking to scale and grow.
Thank you for the impact you're making :)
