I went to basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO arriving in July of '79. At the reception station they put us up in old wooden WWII barracks with no A.C., my biggest memories were the heat and humidity, and smelled like skunks every night. Once we got to regular brick barracks, at least the skunk smell went away.
You guys had a great mileage day, even with the awful heat and humidity, plus a thunderstorm. I was a bit worried about that. Both of you are amazing hikers!!! You both take care and stay safe! Thank you again for the videos! 😊 God bless!
You and Jen should buy a rundown farmhouse along the Katy and the MO River, give it some TLC, and open a BnB or a campground. Jen just really seems to enjoy that trail.
You two are historical! I’m beginning to think you two masitators doing America should be masitators doing America in the rain 😂. The weather at some point has to turn to your favor! When you show all those snakes (BTW - ewe - not a snake fan) I do find them interesting and wonder if you know what kind they are and if they are a good snake or a bad snake. I just remember red and yellow kill a fellow. If you could put a title/text on the image I would find that most helpful. I know you already do a ton of edits and can appreciate if you didn’t do it too. Ok the glass bathroom - that’s, well, odd lol. The B&B railcar - now that’s fascinating - one B for bed the other for boxcar - not breakfast or sadly no coffee. Hike on you two!
