Listening to you.pray and giving thanks brought back memories. I'm 74 with 5 siblings. Our family of 8 said grace before every dinner. At bedtime our parents came to the bedside of each of us one at a time and we said our night time prayer kneeling by the bed. I neglected to maintain these important traditions with my own children. In fact I'm ashamed of my neglect. Thank you for the special moment in your video.

They both been married over 15 yrs now - I attribute things like that from reading the word out loud as I read it -

I’m impressed that she listened so well. A dog that loves the water doesn’t always listen when told to leave it. I’ve seen way too many people allow their dear pups to go out in thin ice, not thinking it’s as dangerous as it is.
Respect for dog lovers, taking your dogs kennel with you camping, while you sleep wild on the cold frozen ground..❤
I recommend putting a heat shield on that stove so your bag doesn’t catch fire when you rub up against it at night, especially when you’re asleep.
Omg, I was just thinking that! I think it's scary, how he set it up. One spark, one touch of material and they are doomed. Great idea. I wish he would do that
I had similar thoughts. In addition to a heat shield, using wool blankets would help be safer (they won't either melt, or explode into flames, like many other fabrics will). And I would put in a carbon monoxide detector, though the bike trailer probably isn't totally air-tight. But other than that, done safely, the wood stove is great!

Violent air that can forcibly drag someone out of bed, inhabit their body, and then be painfully driven out of said body by calling upon the name of Jesus Christ for help? I think I’d maybe do a lot more research before I’d start hatefully misinforming people for the sake of something that you falsely comfort and trick your own mind with. There’s more genuine love and comfort in having Jesus in your heart For an eternity rather than just a life and then a blank death with nothing else. Hell is very real and it burns you very hot physically, mentally, and in ways that we as humans have never felt and cannot comprehend. Some pure intentions, a bit of discipline, and Jesus in your heart is the difference between eternal happiness and comfort amongst loved ones that also lived purely through the lord or grotesquely and violently suffering and reliving your worst nightmares, fears, and endured traumas on repeat without the ability to die for literally an amount of time that we can’t even comprehend. There’s more proof today that Jesus Christ existed than there is “proof” that he didn’t. The Bible is actually an incredibly guiding and powerful source of information on things you’ll face through life as well as an interesting read.

As a child growing up in England, the word 'Mississippi' was on every spelling test at my school. I've been to America a few times, but never once visited the state or river I was taught to spell correctly at a tender age!

The Mississippi is just a regular river until the Ohio meets it.
When my son, my dear, late wife, and I were vacationing in Minnesota many years ago, we made a point to visit the Mississippi headwaters. Seeing the lake/marsh become such a tiny stream was cool, as we'd seen the delta end dump into the Gulf of Mexico, and various points in between. Made a point of wading across the Mississippi, which was about a foot deep then and there.
Love how peaceful these videos are.

I'm sure that's the happiest doggie in the world. He gets to roam free in nature and runs next to his master's bike for exercise. He can dig anywhere without being reprimanded. At night he has a warm, cozy fireplace to curl up to.

My family use to camp all summer. A tent the first two years and then a small trailer for two years. My Dad traveled back and forth on weekends then took his two week vacation. Such great memories, fishing, hiking, board games. If you can, take your kids camping. I will always love the time we spent during our camping summers.

When Hank Williams Jr recorded his song, A Country Boy Can Survive, he started it with, "The preacher man says it's the end of time and the Mississippi River she's a going dry" and I couldn't picture how that could possibly happen. But here we are. Hank was just 30 years or so ahead of his time. It's amazing that what you showed us is the "Mighty Mississippi". I think that "humble beginning" is actually a lot more humble than it was a few years ago.

I've been to the Mississippi River around the Guttenberg iowa area. It's beautiful. I'm from fort dodge iowa so it was an easy drive east on highway 20. It's been a few years since I've been to the river and I can't wait to get back there.

Your lil house is the neatest thing and im am amazed at how much room you have in it and i was realy amazed at w h at all you have in it and you make it look like a huge mansion the way you do everything s I smooth! Nice trip. The head of the Mississippi reminds me of my neck of the woods where we have the head of the Hudson River at Henderson lake in the Adirondacks. Of course Hudson River is only 400 miles to New York City harbor.
I’ve seen people get stuck in a storm in a SUV and have trouble surviving, your doing it in a bicycle camper!!😮wow.
