Eva, the ability to run a marathon like this is beyond my understanding. I am constantly amazed by your commitment, determination, and stamina. This is an accomplishment that you will take with you for the rest of your life, and it will inform many of your choices in the future. Well done, and Congratulations on placing in the women's segment!
I really appreciate all your continued support, George. But I really do think that most people could run this race with adequate training! The world belongs to the brave
Every time I watch someone train and will though an insane challenge like this, it reminds me of Slavomir Rawicz and his fellow prisoners who traveled 6,437km on FOOT from Siberia to India with no gear to escape the prison camps. Anything is possible with the correct mindset. Humans are amazing. You, the person reading this, you are amazing.
For me it reminds me to not do something like this. They end up basically hating life by the end. For what? To say they did it? Congratulations, you took something enjoyable and made it miserable because you wanted to say you went X miles, some really long number, at the expense of your sanity, and likely longevity. Just sayin.
Thank you! 🙏 I always try to think about humanity and all the positive in the world to keep my mind up when I need to. With a positive mindset there are impossible things one can accomplish. Thank you for reminding me of this. I wish you a nice day and a good cup of tea. 😊❤
Congratulations Eva! I’m living this adventure vicariously through you! I was a runner for most of my life, and here I am at 60 years old, waiting for a knee replacement, almost immobile. But it’s the strength that I learned from running (tears and pushing myself) that’s getting me through this low point in my life!
One thing I love and appreciate about Eva is her raw approach to every situation. How she balances work(filming) and fully experiencing every moment of her adventures, that's very inspiring. All the love from Botswana🇧🇼

Thank you for representing Idaho on your hat. You said it was kind of like life. It’s exactly like life. I worked outdoors my whole life in some of the most brutal country in the southwest USA.I suffered two heart attack, kidney cancer, and wiped myself out in the coal mine. I have paralysis now and can no longer work. I had to push myself every single day. I had to get through the day in those tough environments. Now it’s transferred over to me being in a lot of pain and just pushing myself to mow the lawn. Sounds kind of silly, but God prepared me for these hard times. young kids can cut the lawn and not even break a sweat. I’m in so much pain I have tears but because of life that God gave me I know how to push myself just like you. Thank you for sharing this run.
I can’t even understand how you’re able to do this. Looking at the situation of that makeshift bathroom alone would make me quit already. Great achievement, Eva! You are one of a kind.

You inspire me, you have always inspired me. I am running my first ultra in October...50k, it's a start. And who knows where this will take me. Thank you for everything you post and how real you are.. lifelong follower here. I even had to snag some songs off your running play list from spotify, if you know, you know.
Pretty exciting. I did mountain hiking with a pack but not running. On one trip in the north Cascade Mountains in Washington, my 16-year old daughter and I went from around 400 feet elevation to 6000 feet. She bought lots of candy for the trip but after a mile of nasty switchbacks, she left her candy until a rock for the return trip. The hardest part of hiking with a pack is that constant pull on the shoulder muscles. I haven't backpacked in 20 years but I can still remember those shoulder muscles that I know you felt on your trip. I was continually adjusting my pack. And when you take off your pack, you feel like you are ready to fall forward. Walking down hill with a pack was hardest and I was always moving fast to get to a place where I could set up camp. Then when you finish, you think, "I never want to do this again," but the next hike seems to appear on your horizon.
Super well done. I tried to find a map of the way you ran but the organizer had not provided one 😕. I saw that the finish was in Karakorum (or how ever you spell it) which is a fantastic place. I am, like you, a great lover of Mongolia and it’s landscape and of course the kind and lovely people. Third place - that is so awsome. I found the list of the results. Some runners did not make it. I hope no one got seriously injured?

My greatest congratulations Eva! I am in awe. Thank you for sharing this amazing, brave, inspiring journey in this amazing country. I’ve been watching your channel since the day you came to Mongolia for horse trekking, which I think was 4 years ago. Back then, I felt so sad that you couldn’t finish what you wanted due to falling off the horse, as I remember. Since then, I’ve become a fan of yours, never skipping a single video. And now, 4 years later, seeing you come back to Mongolia to run an ultra marathon and finish what you started makes me feel beyond happy. I am so proud of you, and I am happy that this time Mongolia did not let you down.
Just watched this episode. Eva congratulated!!! You and your personal challenges are so inspiring. I watched this episode in real time .(mostly I do 125-150) . I pray that you continue to be yourself and follow your dreams!

Wow, Eva, your narration made me feel every emotion of your 155-mile ultra marathon in Mongolia. The way you described your journey was truly gripping, and seeing you cross the finish line gave me goosebumps-I felt so happy for you and amazed by what you've accomplished. Your description of "brutal" perfectly captures the intensity of your experience. You are an incredible example that women can conquer the most challenging obstacles in life. Truly inspiring!

Amazing...well done! As it goes with such extreme events, on the day you finish you always find yourself saying you will never do it again...but low and behold before you know it you only remember the awesome feelings that go with finishing and somehow you find yourself entered into the next one, so looking forward to see your video on the next extreme race Eva!
My greatest congratulations Eva! I am in awe. Thank you for sharing this amazing, brave, inspiring journey in this amazing country.
I loved it when you talked about why people run marathons, how they want to "tap into something primal and raw". It really resonated with me.
I also loved how you show everything you pack, though I would have chosen a small toothbrush over a comb! 😂
Eva does it again. You never cease to amaze us with your accomplishments. Congratulations 🎊
You are such an inspiration...thank you. "I chose to be here; there's nowhere else I'd rather be." best quote ever in the moment. Love...
Beautifully rugged terrain for a marathon.
That can be a trick of your mind, just mind games that we use on ourselves
Always focus on the beauty of the moment
@@evazubeck Thank you, Eva!
@@davidleslie1963hello 👋 from P🇵🇱 and my rural life channe🐶😊

Bravo, Eva! You've made such an amazing accomplishment. You are so strong! Shining! I admire your work!
My gosh, I felt the excitement, cried with you, laughed with you, cheered along with you… I feel so much love for you and your journey I was privileged to be a witness of for so many years.
You crushed it. Again. Wonderful…
Respect for your effort, health, and perseverance! Awesome courage and resolve.
Thank you!!
The determination, the discipline to finish that run will touch every part of her life.
Eva your'e a superhero! Thank you for bringing us all along. That was Amazing to watch!!
Just watched this episode. Eva congratulated!!! You and your personal challenges are so inspiring. I watched this episode in real time .(mostly I do 125-150) . I pray that you continue to be yourself and follow your dreams!
Amazing storytelling. This marathon is such a great allegory to life itself. Truly inspiring film (and yes, it is a whole film, not just "a video" on yt). Congratulations and thank you
