I'd wager thousands of children and adults had played that piano before it got to him, and maybe hundreds found a joy for music, and then dozens went on to pursue something greater with music and expressing themselves through a piano. My $200 thrift store piano that lived in a basement for a decade was in-tune, in good repair, had mostly original hardware, original ivory and ebony wood keys, and the soul of a hundred-thousand amateur musicians across it's greater centennial lifespan. I'm the proud owner of a relic, and I get to show my affection for it.

If you just take the audio it's on a perfect loop👌😂. I've played on pianos like this at the tip shop and can fully appreciate how much of an effort that must take. Great work, keep it up
This reminds me of when my school's band went to the nearby middle school to play for their kids. They had the shittiest marimba ever (I swear half of the notes were paper instead of wood) and it became painfully apparent when my solo came up on one of our pieces
The second most beat up piano is mine Every note is out of tune, you have a 20% of a note working when you press it, not to mention that on some notes it sounds like you are holding the right pedal but you aren't, and it's a player piano so you have to take care of boxes of scrolls like your a mage. That last one is a slight upside since a real life mage sounds pretty cool
