You have built up a large and loyal audience by now I think and many would be totally happy seeing videos that are far less time consuming for you to make. You are so interesting to listen to and to just watch while you're working on your art or doing your thing in Paris. Maybe by now, making such videos demand much less editing time
I agree, I am inspired by her vids that follow her day to day goals, adventures, struggles.

You'd be a great teacher! I've had teachers who'd try to impose their style/technique and I know you'd be the opposite, trying to understand the other and helping them the way they need. I loved how you explained the materials you are using in this video as well. You should definitely do more of these casual chats/art making videos. Your paintings are amazing, and I know it will take you very far even if you stop content creation. Btw, the Van Gogh exhibition in Orsay and the Picasso drawing exhib at pompidou might be inspiring for you, if you haven't checked them out yet!

This year was transformational. I am still trying to figure out if it is for better or worse. I cut down to part time after a significant breakdown, and am still in school for sociology. I keep thinking I want to do more art classes. Time will tell, I suppose. I just wish I could take care of my mental health and work without burning out.
I personally love this style of video. It feels like "parallel play", in the sense that I feel like I can work on my own art while you work on yours. It's motivating.

Love you Shayna 💗💗 and ugh yes I struggle w imposter syndrome sometimes. The way I combat this is by acknowledging that me doing this 'awkward' thing leads to other ppl also feeling free to do it. Which eventually i find more valuable than my own internal shame... But its still a slippery slope

This year a sweetheart cherub of a cat entered my life 🐱 her name is London, I call her Lunny. Her former owner had to let her go and it all happened rather suddenly.. One day, I saw the ad and the next night she was in her new home with me. So a big love year around here! ❤

I love your impromptu videos, I think it’s the foundation of building a community since many of us may feel isolated and disconnected at times. I also grab a hot cup o’ coffee or tea and sit down to listen to your informal, unplanned chats. Your authenticity comes through loud and clear (iykyk) 😅😉. I would also love to see more of your new Paris apartment and the basics of a day spent there (DITL-style). Your gifts are so unique that claiming them and sharing them would hopefully dispel any “imposter” syndrome, but I love your vulnerability and humility in sharing that you too suffer from those negative thoughts at times. Just know that a big smile comes across my face when listening to your recorded music, and looking at my art space wall holding your signed prints is always an inspiration to me. Loved this video. I am nearing 40 and you have helped me accept the fact that I am an artist and that my art is good and worthy. One idea in case you haven’t considered it yet - I would absolutely pay to take a class from you on Skillshare. I know art grants are a hard way to generate revenue and maybe Skillshare could be another way to fund your art. I loved hearing about your process, and as someone that doesn’t have a formal art education, I love when you share about your approach to your work and the materials. I really relate your art style and how you think about art, which is more inclusive than more traditional/old school type of art. Thank you for sharing and fueling our art dreams ❤

I genuinely love how your channel's rhythm is "omg everything is wonderful!" one video and the next one "everything's going downhill!". Unironically. That's exactly what it feels like to live a life as an artist and as awful as it seems I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world. ...Except maybe financial stability but I'm definitely not finding a suitcase with money or marrying a rich guy soon so...yeah.
