DESCRIPTION ✨
When it comes to making DIY epoxy tumblers, there are SO many options for cup turners! I recently discovered this one from Globeous on Amazon, and it's fantastic! Here are some of the things I love about this cup spinner:
- The turner is easy to assemble (great for beginners)
-This cup spinner is quiet
-The Globeous Cup Turner is sturdy and well built
-The cup turner's motor is silent and doesn't get hot after running for long periods of time
-The cup spinner has plenty of room between the PVC arm and the base, which allows the user to use cups of any size with this turner.
The things I would improve about this cup turner are:
-The PVC tumbler arm is not removable. This is easy to work around by purchasing PVC and creating a separate spray painting/ drying rack for tumblers.
-I experienced some sliding while epoxying my tumbler. This is easy to mitigate by using the pre-drilled holes in the base to anchor it to the surface.
-The Globeous Cup Turner is more expensive than other cup spinners on Amazon, but this turner is high enough quality that I believe the investment is 100% worth it.
Thank you Globeous for sponsoring this review! The opinions in this review are totally authentic to me, DIY Alex.

I just happened to order this one and it arrived yesterday. So far so good!
Yay! I hope you like it as much as I do!
Congratulations Alex ok 50k!!!!!!!!! woohoo 🎉
Thanks so much Lindsey! 💕💕💕
nice video! ive been thinking about purchasing this turner! does a venti starbs cup fit ok on either foam pieces?
Thanks! It’s a great turner and I’m really pleased with it. I don’t have any to try it on the turner for you, but if it doesn’t you can always change those out with pool noddles, footballs, etc. 🙂
great video, thanks for the sharing
You're welcome!
Thanks Alex!
You’re welcome Cassy! Thanks for watching!
Hi I was just wondering if you could tell me how (or what size pvc pipe I would need) to add a pvc pipe to make it easier to remove the cup. Also would I need to add any caulking inside it so that it has a way to grab the current pipe for easy turning?
Honestly I’m not sure! I haven’t built my own cup turner. Sorry!
Great job.
Thank you!
I have a dumb question how do you get the cup off once you put the epoxy on? Does it continue to turn until dry or do you need to put it on a piece of pvc and slide it over the attached arm?
You keep it on the PVC arm turning until it is cured. So you put it on there before applying epoxy, and leave it there until it's cured.
I have a dumb question .. I am getting ready to purchase my 1st turner and when you say for this turner, add pvc pipes .. how do you do that? Or do you have a different turner that would be better from Amazon? Thank you for all of your videos! I have watched non stop since 2am :0)
No worries Dawn! I was referring to having a PVC pipe separately from the turner so you can use them for spray painting and sealing so that it stays cleaner than the PVC attached to your turner.
Thank you
According to the link the site isn't available, an I can't find this brand on Amazon. I have been doing epoxy resin crafting for a few years now an wanted to try my hand at cups or tumbler's
The company just let me know that they are no longer going to be selling this cup turner. I will do my best to find a comparable alternative and post it when I do!
Just tried to order and it’s unavailable. Any idea as to when it’s going to be available again?
Unfortunately Globeous has just told me that they will not be back in stock anymore! So sorry about that! I'll be on the hunt for another cup turner that I can recommend as soon as I can find one!
I just ordered this turner. I’m a newbie to tumbler crafts. I’m curious, what’s your opinion to date?
Yay! I'm excited for you! This is still my favorite cup turner that I've tried!
@@DIYAlex Wonderful!! It just arrived yesterday. 🤗😁
Thanks!
Welcome! Thank you so much!! 🥰🥰🥰 -Lindsay
will this hold 32 oz hydro flask mugs without it dipping?
I'm sure it would hold a hydro flask fine, but whether or not it drips is based on using the right amount of epoxy. The turner won't make much of a difference.
Can you please recommend a multi cup turner?
I haven't tried a multi cup turner so I don't have a recommendation for one that's currently for sale. Sorry!
Can you use Turner on vases
Yes you can!
I just tried to order and it is unavailable to order
I just spoke with a rep from Globeous and they said it will be back in stock in a couple of weeks. Sorry about that!
Where else can I get one of these? Amazon doesn’t carry them anymore.
Unfortunately this company went out of business! It’s a huge bummer because I loved their products, but I’m interested in selling one of mine from them if you’re interested! You can email me at diyalexvanover@gmail.com
@@DIYAlex I sent you an email. Thank you!
The name suggest you can get it to fit your local plug. It can´t ! I´m from EU and we use 220V. A transformer are to expensive if it has to get from 110V to 220V and in my experience the motor will burn at some point anyway due to wrong plug/Voltage. I have looked for a cup turner in 220 V and not been able to find a good one yet !
I’m from the US and I believe it’s made for our outlets here. Sorry!
@@DIYAlex yes, it would be nice to be able to get one as well that fits ! But thanks for your reply and have a great day !
It doesn't have adjustable speed or a reverse.
You’re great! I’m going to be a first time beginner here sometime soon once I have my baby! Great advise, will subscribe 🤍
Thanks Amanda! I’m glad to have you!
@@DIYAlex I also had a quick question if you don’t mind.. I was wondering when you were a beginner what did you buy before you had gotten your Cricut? I want to get the air 2 but I know I need to start off kinda cheaper.. I just don’t know of any good ones for a starter until I get what I want lol
Your link doesn’t work
This product is no longer on the market 🙁
