Sorry..a price tag of over 28.00 for a burger is just GREEDY of them 26 is the limit of acceptance before being annoyed at overcharging.
How did you come up with 26 being the tipping point? I genuinely ask because this was actually our last meal of the trip and I do feel we were numb to the sticker shock by this point after 4 nights, but we had one dinner that truly stuck out as overpriced to us. I am interested to hear what people think when an item goes for expensive to overpriced - even if all the food is good. @@Piggy-Oink-Oink

Thanks been wondering what Flays Brasserie was like, I’ll stick with Bouchon at the Venetian, it’s Croque Madame comes with potatoes.
Nice when entrees come as complete meals. No sides with any of these felt like a bit of a price gouge

What kind of food do you like? What atmosphere do you enjoy? For us a Steakhouse is always a celebratory meal but don’t want to suggest something you aren’t into
Thank you so much for your reply. My birthday is my 60th, so it is pretty special, being as I'm going solo I would love a place with a darker atmosphere or something with a great view. Love the idea of a good Steakhouse. Looking for a spoil me experience ❤ I have watched about 10 videos now and counting. Love your energy.
That's Awesome. We are suckers for Meals with a View, whether it is Eiffel Tower Restaurant, Any of the ones along the Bellagio Lake Show or at Wynn on Lake of Dreams.
Yellowtail is a perennial favorite for us that fits this category - Think of it as Japanese "Tapas"/Small Plates so you can try a few items without getting one meal and done, also has very good sushi, and you can reserve a table on their patio overlooking the Bellagio Fountains, for a set per person cost - which if you get a drink or two is easy to reach.
Steakhouse I would look at SW at Wynn probably since their steak was one of our favorites, and the patio seating is a bit more expansive to get a seat possibly to watch the Lake of Dreams Show. Also if you want that Old Las Vegas Experience, we also recommend Golden Steer.
For a Brunch we put Catch at Aria and Ocean Prime as our faves. Both have very good high end food with delicious cocktail menus. Ocean Prime also has an outdoor patio overlooking the Strip.
For Breakfast we tend to prefer some off strip spots more than the Strip locations - 1228 Main in the Arts District, Craft Kitchen in Henderson, Dupars at Suncoast, and Morning News on West Sahara all fit this bill. Some are a tad fancier than the others but all have decent prices to make it worthwhile to get off strip. Peppermill across from Resorts World is an Iconic landing spot that is not as good for food, but makes up for it with nostalgia.
Hope that gives ya a decent starter plan.

Have you done FountainBleu yet? Slots were definitely loose and both La Fontaine and Vida were great for breakfast.
Not yet! We are hoping to make it there sometime this year still, but no dates set yet. Will need to get there if the slots are loose, because we have not had the best of luck
@@JoshRachael Well they do Tier Match so better than later. My family loved it there and casino was so empty and I was up both days we visted there. All 4 of us could definitely tell slots were looser than MGM casinos.
I think the tier match is good into June and we definitely plan on getting there before then

@JoshRachael If you are rated Diamond Plus or higher, you get the four free drinks every day. I like to go to Stanton Social Prime and drink Mumm champagne. The bar at Amalfi is nice too.

Yea, I (Josh) had gone through a stint with CET about 7-9 years ago where i was playing around with them but ended up sticking with MGM. We both got cards again in December and have a suite at Flamingo next month to check things out. We only played about 2-4 hours and had that offer, so will be interesting to see how things go with an actual stay @@jimklemens5018

Just an 🚨 ALERT 🚨. on the fruit slices submerged in your alcoholic drinks. Hopefully this dining establishment adheres to strict hygiene habits during handling of the fruit. Numerous studies and testing have shown that the rind in addition to the flesh of the slices very often contain traces of fecal matter. Our recommendation is to inform the server to forego this garnish when ordering the mixed drinks. A word to the wise is sufficient. Hope this helps Yo ! 🚫 🍋 🍹 🍊 🚫

People need to stop paying these outrageous prices. As long as there are suckers out there, it will continue. Profit is one thing, but this is gouging. We need to boycott until they come to their senses when pricing

Its been all the videos for a while now... few months maybe. New camera? New editing software?
I just put a comment on 2 older videos... about when this started happenning.
There are a few since then where the color seems fine, but on most... has that effect going on.

@@LordTimothyMcKay I wonder if there was some kind of update with my iphone. We do most of our filming on that. I know i have noticed on the selfie facing camera some noticable differences inside with odd lighting like this video. Will try to look into this - thanks for the heads up.
I don't think it's on the editing side since I personally like to not put filters on to make things appear as something they are not. I will on Instagram pictures but not video since we truly try to show realistic things and not phony supped up stuff if that makes sense.
Maybe the food is good, but it's tremendously overpriced. 5 shrimp for $30.00? French fries for $13.00? A ham, cheese and egg sandwich, no matter that it has a fancy name attached to it, for $25.00? Basic chips and cheese sauce for $16.00? Bobby Flay attaches his name to a place, and all of a sudden the prices are inflated. $250.00 bucks for brunch including the tip? No thanks!! But I guess like they say, there's a sucker born every minute!! And constantly hearing people say that it's Vegas, just makes no sense. Just because it's Vegas, what does that mean? That they can just charge whatever they want for basic stuff like french fries, and charge folks $20.00 for a French Onion soup? They are just laughing all the way to the bank, and people are falling for all the "celebrity" chef crap, as more and more "celebrity" food joints are popping up all over the place, and the prices just keep rising and rising.
You are correct.
But this is not JUST Bobby Flay Restaurants. These prices are at many sit down restaurants in Las Vegas now.
I get where you are saying for people to just stop paying the prices but if something is an experience you want then you are willing to do it. It doesn't make it right or that you agree with it, but you accept that you can either do these things for the prices asked or not do them at all.
For us, we don't want to go to Las Vegas and only eat at food courts so that we can save money. Going to Las Vegas for us is a lot about being able to experience things and food that we don't get to at home.
Fortunately we all can choose whether we want to do this or not.
