    Duck to me is easily the tastiest bird in the poultry family, regardless of how it's prepared. Glad to see this was one of their menu items.

      It is my favorite type of bird in the poultry family as well ❤️ - I will always be the first to try and get the roast duck 🦆 off the cart at a Dim Sum.
      I stand by the fact that it needs to be a thing more normalized here in the US - Even Christmas Goose 🪿 (which we cooked one year for Christmas with friends) - So many delicious poultry options out there and we in the US often only do Chicken or Turkey 😭

      @@JamesandPaulTryitAll I agree, never quite understood why duck has lacked the popularity of its chicken and turkey cousins. Nothing against either of those, but duck is simply loaded with flavor and texture. Peking duck is my singular favorite method of preparation, but I also love it confit, roasted, and of course duck breast sautéed medium rare - major yum!!!!

    I grew up in Montreal and there are alot of amazing steak and fritz places. I will say that looks like the real macoy. The one at Mon Ami Gabi sucks but they have the best breakfast in Vegas.

    I was afraid for that creme brulee at first. It was so dark! Pistachio pudding was one of my favorites growing up, I bet this would be insanely delicious!
    Thanks for taking us along! Great video!

      You are so sweet! Thanks for watching and leaving some love!
      I also had similar concerns when the crème brûlée came out, but it was perfectly divine.
      I also used to love pistachio pudding when I was a kid.

    $36 for the duck is very reasonable, I expected that to be about $20 more

    • @JamesandPaulTryitAll

      I know, right?
      I have paid almost $55 to $60 for a duck breast or similar Duck Confit at restaurants here in Phoenix. Also… the gourmet grocery store we have here in Phoenix charges almost $15 for just one single duck breast, factor in the labor cost at the restaurant, destination dining up charge, whatever rent the place pays that gets factored into their prices, etc… the price was reasonable for that duck.
      When we say “reasonable”, we are thinking of the prices in terms of quality, the ingredients used to make the food, labor costs, whatever this place is paying Caesars in rent, etc. Yes there’s an up charge for his name, yes it’s expensive compared to places not on the strip, but you have to think of what goes into that price and when you look at all those factors, and the fact that in general restaurants operate in their first year often at a loss… it’s reasonable

    Looks divine. Not a huge mussels fan. I will eat them but I always see them on the pylons on the pier down in Huntington and Newport so once I get past that they are good.

    • @JamesandPaulTryitAll

      We have not yet done Bouchon or Bardot Brasserie so we cannot give an honest comparison. Both of those places are definitely on the bucket list for us. The huge issue is that Vegas has so many options and so little time (and $$$$ to try them all) 😂😂😂 - But I can say that by looking at both menus, those are both right up our alley as we both love French recipes and when we do try them you better believe there will be a review ❤️

    I’m starting to like bleu cheese, the guy at the grocery store turned me on to cambazola (no idea if that’s spelled correctly) so maybe I’ll try a dip like that with cheese next time I see it on the menu!

    • @JamesandPaulTryitAll

      Cambazola is usually a mixture of Camembert and Gorgonzola so it’s very much a blue cheese flavor in all the good ways ❤️ I absolutely love it but I will say to anyone in the comments reading this… if you are not adept to strong or pungent cheeses, Camembert is very much a strong flavor and may be intimidating if you aren’t well adept to strong cheese. But I do highly recommend it ❤️

    $16 for potato chips, are you nuts! At $82 that ribeye looked like 6oz cut! Duh! Brasserie B doesn't offer anything special! Nice matching nose rings!

    • @JamesandPaulTryitAll

      What one person finds reasonable may not always be what others do. Considering the cost of most celebrity dining on the strip (or even regular fine dining) we felt this was absolutely worth it. Especially considering it was half the price as to what we paid for a similar meal at the Eiffel Tower restaurant a few months ago.
      Glad you like our nose rings though!

    • @clubmogambo3214

      I'm sure the ribeye was quite tender and tasty, but it did look a bit overcooked for my taste, and yes at those prices, yikes!!!

  • @igorgopshtein9754

    These prices are insane. Who cares if it owned by a "celebrity" chef? They can keep their restaurants. To think that paying almost $300.00 for this brunch is reasonable, you have to be out of your minds. But like they say, there's a sucker born every minute. But if people are willing to pay such crazy prices for food, then this is why these "celebrity" chefs are laughing all the way to the bank. They make their money off of the fools that are throwing money away on food which should cost half that price.

    • @JamesandPaulTryitAll

      Value is definitely subjective. While these price points may not seem reasonable to you, they could be to many others (Ourselves included). But we go in knowing that prices will be high due to the Las Vegas markup, and the fact that it is a restaurant by a celebrity chef.
      Having spent years working in the restaurant and hospitality industry, we’ve encountered all sorts of price points in our experience and have accepted that sometimes this type of cost is what we will encounter when we want to dine or stay somewhere. We’re very much believers in the old adage of “You get what you pay for”.
      We hope you enjoyed the video though.

    • @JamesandPaulTryitAll

      Most things in Vegas are. For us, considering we’ve paid twice that for comparable meals (even in our hometown of Phoenix), we felt it was quite worth the cost.

    • @algernon5776

      @JamesandPaulTryitAll $80 + for a ribeye steak there is no mistake it is over priced but you go right ahead & over pay.

    • @JamesandPaulTryitAll

      It’s easy to when you don’t feel like it’s overpaying for what you get. Between the two of us, we’ve worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for 40 years, and as lovers of fine dining, we’ve have grown quite accustomed to prices that some people may not think is worth it.
      Unless you’re dining at Outback Steakhouse, most upscale restaurants will charge about a similar price for that particular cut (even off strip and outside of Vegas). My favorite steakhouse in Phoenix charges 100 for a ribeye, and I’ll be honest and say that I enjoyed Brasserie B’s more. So for me… it was a deal!

    • @JamesandPaulTryitAll

      It really depends on what you value in a dining experience more than anything else. We know Brasserie B will not be for everyone, and that is exactly why we wanted to do a video on it… to help people decide if it’s worth it for them or not. For those of us who enjoy meals like this and can afford it, it may be worth it. To others… probably not.
      We appreciate you taking the time to watch the video, and while we’re disappointed to hear that this may be out of your price range, we do hope that you were entertained nonetheless.
      Also, thanks for the comments. Engagement really helps our video be seen by more viewers! We appreciate it.
