If you ever come back to San Diego try these spots.
Cali burrito/ carneasada fries - vallartas, cotixan or most small Mexican spots.
Tacos - tacos El Gordo. Best tacos on the planet - city tacos is also good
Hodads- great burgers and a San Diego staple.
Fish tacos - Oscar’s fish tacos or even Rubios
We will definitely check them out when we get back
What a fun trip thanks for taking us along!!!
Thanks for coming with us Sandy
Second favorite place to spend a weekend!
Nice city for sure!!
The entire San Diego area is beautiful, sorry for the rain. Crossing the border into Rosarito you would have had great fish tacos and ceviche. thanks for the adventure.
It was raining but we still enjoyed it! Maybe next time we will try to cross the border!
Thanks for watching!
Oh my god guys ! This is truly the best video so far ! You Guys did amazing job with this video ! Thanks for sharing all the fun ! God bless !
Oh wow thank you so much! We have a lot of fun with our quick trip videos, so much to do and eat in them!
Rachel, that pink or lavender you had on at brigantines is beautiful on you. Lived in San Diego 20 years and never tired of the seals. Thank you both❤
Ah - thank you 🥰
I love the seals…such a fun animal!
As usual, fab video. Lots of awesome food and beers. Its on our possible list for next year with disneyland
So much fun! Gonna need to but Disney on our list!!
I used to love to go to San Diego but it’s gotten so expensive. I loved the snail. We were eating at a Furr’s in Denver when my wife saw a snail in the kale in the salad section. She asked for a to go box and the manager was concerned were going to sue but my wife assured him we were leaving for California tomorrow and would deliver the snail to its proper environment. We placed it in ice plants in Oceanside.
The Midway is new since I’ve been and would be a definite to do. Thanks for the tour.
That’s so cool thank you for sharing!
SD has sure changed since I was stationed there in the Navy back in 85-86. I mostly hung out in National City and Chula Vista.
I’m sure it is quite different
That was so much fun!!!
So excited you enjoyed it!!
Looked like a fun 48 hours, in spite of the weather. San Diego is so fun. We haven’t been in a while and need to go. I (Jon) spent a night on the Midway years ago as part of a Cub Scout event. Slept in those bunks and everything! Really enjoyed following along on your adventure!
Thank you! We enjoyed it and appreciate you watching!
Great video! 😊
Thanks Greg
Love San Diego! Gas lamp rules! You guys should have done a speakeasy they have some good ones. Great video as usual!
Next time we need to do a bit more at night
I love how you guys make must try food lists...I have one for LA in June. I didn't know there was a cave you could go down to possibly see the sealions. Nice!!
🙌🏼 thanks so much. We find it to be a fun way to see a city
You guys really rocked that weekend in San Diego!!! Definitely now going for our next 72 hour weekend!! Better than Vegas, IMHO! :)
Thank you! We venture to many weekend getaway’s outside of Vegas and have a couple more coming soon!
My grandparents moved to San Diego when I was 5, so we would fly down from Oregon every year to visit. Love the area, the usually great weather, and the food. We stayed on Coronado island several times and made some great memories. Your video reminds me of those beautiful trips. Thank you ❤
So glad we could help relive some memories!! Thanks for sharing and watching 🥰
Thanks for the San Diego tour. We went there some years back for Major League Baseball. Really enjoyed the food and the scenery, The Midway tour was awesome. Looks like you guys really had fun!
Awesome!
I’m so glad you enjoyed downtown San Diego, the harbor, and the Midway museum. My husband served on the ship, it’s been slowly added to over the last 20 some years. I live north of the city, but close to Stone brewery 😂😎 🍻
Thank you for watching and sharing! And please thank your husband for his service!
Let me know when you plan to visit again..I have lived in SD for 18 years and can give some excellent recommendations:)
Sounds good!
San Diego is a very very very Cool 😎, Beautiful Place To Visit For Real, My Friends.
We agree!
I never much liked going to church but that church in SD I would make a exception! Wow!😎🇺🇸☘️⚓️
It was a great place for a beer on a Sunday 😂
I love your videos from Vegas
Thank you!
26:15 You are right on the mark with California burritos in San Diego, every place has their own version and ratio of ingredients, only the carne asada and French fries are a constant ingredient. And it seems like the higher end restaurants make the burrito too "clean" like the Rubio's franchise and the downtown place you tried. The OB taco shop is the kinda place you want to try the California burrito.
Thanks so much Kevin! Are you from San Diego?
@@JoshRachael Yes, lived in San Diego since 1980.
It was a great video
Next time when you back in town, try South Park restaurants you will not disappointed
I’m from San Diego
Would love any and all recommendations!! Thanks for watching!!!

No need I already won 😉
I was just telling my pal that we need to go Mike's Taco Club and we've put it on our list. Thank you!!
Yes 🙌🏼
Rockin Baja & Katrina’s have good fish tacos if you’re wanting to stay in the gas lamp district.
Gonna have to remember that for the next visit!!
Really enjoy your vlogs, especially Las Vegas. My eatery list is growing for my next visit to Vegas based on your foodie feedback. Keep on, keepin on!
point loma national monument,,,,,,,you missed it
Will have to catch on the next trip!
One of the last US cities that I haven’t explored yet. One of these days!
It’s a fun city!
You guys are lovely and funny . I enjoyed most of your videos. I just think you are a little too much into food 😊

Everyone of you Vegas reviewers venture out of Vegas and get unsubed.
