- The ability for someone to be alone can be considered a lost art in our generation, maybe even a superpower! Being alone isn't always a bad thing, despite what social media might say. It can bring a sense of peace that is rare nowadays. Anyways, I hope this video reaced you to maybe take some time and just be alone. Remember, being alone doesn't equal to being lonely.

I’ve been used to being alone from a child. I find that I am in my most peaceful state when alone and I’m 49. I cherish my own space away from others.

Last year I've moved away from my hometown to study at a university and I was really scared to live alone and make new friends. But a year later I finally realized that yes, I got this.

That's alright, I don't think you should necessarily "want" to live a certain way. I think that it will eventually become unhealthy and you'll just end up giving up. So I would say, find the right balance for YOU and you only. Btw, how much EM is on your kazuha? 😂😂 I've got 987

Growing up, I was always surrounded by classmates and i was quiet popular. Still, I felt left out, as if I was just being used.
Now I realize how you don't really need other people or their opinions to succeed in life. I have learned not to let others behaviour and thoughts influence me. It's important to be your own best friend before anyone else's. It's better to be alone and true to yourself rather than surround yourself with shallow, selfish people who only care about you when it benefits them.
That must have been a hard pill to swallow for you growing up. I especially liked the part where you said to be one’s best friend. I’m glad you like the content I put up and I hope you are doing fine as a solo player much like myself 😝

Being alone is something I also grew up with, the beauty of finding out how to entertain yourself with no toys or tech. Till today, I don’t get bored being alone. This was a beautiful to watch ❤

Thanks! I appreciate it! I kinda had to improvise a bit on that shot. I actually just used a empty toilet roll (the brown cardboard thingy in the middle) and put plastic film under and placed it over my lens. This is a secret between you and me okay😁
Do you know I realized something, I'm not alone but I miss loneliness and being with myself only!
I grew up in a big family and it's not usual that family members live alone, so I hold on to the idea of wanting to be alone and do things alone and discover everything alone 😂, sometimes I feel like I don't have my own personality completely! My personality is related to what my parents and family want! So I miss being alone if that makes sense :)

That's a very unique take on this topic. I actually never thought of it that way, since I was quite the opposite. But I guess our circumstance align. But the most important thing in this is that you know the difference and that you want to pursue a solo journey to discover the world and yourself, even if it is temporary. I get that freeing feeling of wanting to be alone. It's very calming. Thanks for following me on my journey here on YT!

I am 45 and alone and i only go out and enjoy myself when i leave NYC. I have no friends here. I feel like this is a prison for me. Work, Gym, home. That is my life. I didn't mind this lifestyle when i was younger, but now it is begining to hurt. My lack of self-confidence has also played a major role in my creating an isolated reality

The things you just said is one of the aftermaths of living such a lifestyle. I'm not going to judge or criticize you but all I have to say is that we all live in our own timeline, maybe your life will take a turn when you're 46 while someone else might've gained everything at 20 but lost everything at 46. I'm sure there are countless wonderful things that you experienced with this lifestyle. I can tell that you are a self-aware person, so try to look on the bright side. Give yourself a pat on the back when u need it, and kick yourself up when you need to take action but is not confident enough. You got this my friend.

First of all, thx! As for the ideas, I really try to look for things in my life that have greatly impacted me or that I am passionate about. It really has to be something that is important to me, either now, or always have been. And for the script, I would say that once you got that idea that is deeply related to your life, the script will kinda write itself. No kidding, it will flow naturally and that's when the most authentic version of yourself shows itself. This process certainly takes more time and thinking, but trust me, the results are much more genuine and the audience will actually be able to connect to you on a personal level.

The world is divided by those capable of being alone and thriving and those that only thrive among others. No right way and not wrong way (I'm the former who for my now fairly long life have enjoyed time by myself...since I was a small child actually). And on this subject I have you ever seen the posts by Via Li? She talks a bunch about how she is alone and how she deals and doesn't deal with it. Li seems like such a smart and nice and fun person and so cute but still finds herself with social anxiety. And her editing is SO good and funny and relatable. I’m also part of the former group. Also, I’ve seen her videos before but just not this one. He style of video is quite different from mine but she still gets the message across. Oftentimes people associate certain attributes with personality, but like you said in her case she still prefers being alone. And I really like the word “thrive” you used. I understand where you're coming from but the goal I had in mind wasn't to say that one should just be by themselves and not interact with the world. Rather, I wanted to show people how it can also be nice to spend time by yourself from time to time, and that it could a nice change of pace in this busy world.
