Please tell me you are re-mineralizing your rodi water. Livebearers need hard water, with higher GH and KH. Untreated RODI water have very low hardness
How about red mosaic guppies.They are pretty cheap and magnificent as well !!!I also breed guppies with the same way and there is huge progress and success!!Everybody has to try it out for sure!!!!!
Guppies prefer harder water so rodi water does more bad than good, I would add some crushed coral and wonder shells too buffer your bf and add some minerals to the water
I have a 30 gallon acrylic aquarium full of mutt guppies and definitely recommend finding a solid place to sell them too or multiple fish stores that you could sell them to. I only got one option and sold to them twice. Now when ever I ask if they need some guppies they turn me away. Basic point: have multiple ways to sell the guppies to avoid over population and don’t just rely on them eating each other for population control because my guppies make more babies then they can eat and I have tried removing my plants and didn’t feed for two days but there was no notice loss in population. Don’t do like I did and rely on one fish store to sell too unless you know that they can take in a bucket or two of guppies every 2 or 3 weeks.
