I was really fascinated by your observation about how neglect turns up the volume in the neglected and how it turns into exaggeration, which in turn destroys credibility. Is chronic exaggeration a trauma response?
Probably, we are emotionally flooded and in our adaptive child. What do kids do when they feel ignored? Act out!

Whoa, Belinda, why assume Christian's lack of attraction is about appearance? For all we know he's gay or not attracted due to personality. Nothing he said suggested this was an appearance issue....
