YES. Thank you for mentioning the grieving process. I have birth to my son five weeks ago through a sperm donor and I love him so much, but the grief has been real. It was very strong after I got pregnant and it continues to come up now and then. I’m so grateful you mentioned this. I have my own fairy tale ❤ So happy for you. For others reading this, I did two IUIs at the age of 35 and gave birth to my son Leo two weeks before turning 36. The decision was hard, but also right for me. Thank you again!

Im 27. For over a year now the only thing im thinking is having a baby. Its not something i crave. Im PREPARED for motherhood. I had so many disappointing relationships and the current one is going down the hill(he is incredibly childish and toxic). The only thing literally stopping me from going to a clinic and having a IUI procedure is my parents. HOW DO I TELL MY PARENTS. Im greek and they are the average conservative greek orthodox parents who want their daughter to get married...im emotionally tired of trying to find the right man and then imagining me and him being a family and children and then disappointed. Most of them dont want children they only wish to travel the world and go after money. The clock is ticking within me and every day is even more frustrating. I want children so bad😢

Hi there, thank you for sharing all of this. You are still so young! I don’t doubt that you want kids and are prepare for motherhood but you do still have time. Maybe start having the conversation with your family now. If they see how bad you want this I am sure they will be supportive in time. It may just take them a little bit of time to warm up to the idea. I think my dad is still warming up to the idea but I know that when I’m pregnant he will be so excited to be a grandfather. The other idea is that you can maybe to look to freeze eggs now to give yourself more options down the road.

I exactly looked to be a SMBC last april of 2023, with 34 yo, turned 35 in May, started the treatment and IVF in July, thankfully got pregnant that first time 🎉 , now I am 34 weeks pregnant, never felt better and full of love of my family, everyone is waiting for my baby in my family and friends circle! SOLO BY CHOICE with a toddler. I love him to bits and I know the SD. However, he literally just asked me if I want to send him pictures of my toddler and honestly, I said no. I wanted to please him or encourage him and thought orginally to agree to meet up and share his photo but now, nah. If he wants to keep up with my toddler, he will accept our request for a photo of him and a phone call to update him on my toddler. I say, my, because he has nothing to do with him.

Don’t do it. My mother screwed ne up big time when she turned me away from my father. I just never seen him since I was 10 and I was so messed up. I was angry I actually thought I should have been a woman because I felt so left out when my mom and sister did things together. I was overeating them on on drugs for my teens and 20s. I forgave my mother at age 31 but now I’m stuck looking after her as she’s broke and unable to look after herself. I am so lonely and no woman wants me because I live with my mother . She turned me into her husband .
All these drug addicts and violent thugs have their mothers nature because they had no father to protect them from their mother . Girls turn out messed up too without a father,

@@Aliciae411 I was angry because I had no father and even though I forgave I now have to be a companion to my mother or she would like me to be. She’s growing old alone and wants me to be the man In her life. It doesn’t matter if I never met my dad at all I still would have my mothers nature. Anyone who does this obviously has issues and the kid will grow up like her. Children that never meet their fathers still miss a father and are just as likely to be messed up. A father is there to protect the children from the mothers overbearing nature. I’m not angry because I know women have been brainwashed to believe men are useless and they can raise children alone but it’s not true and you are traumatizing a innocent child by being selfish .

Even if a kid comes from a traditional family, they can still be bullied in school. I was. Couples and women usually pay out of pocket for most testing, treatments, medications, and procedures performed. The average total cost is to go through everything once is $5k-$10k. Many people have to go through multiple rounds. The couples/women who go through this process are not likely to need the assistance you speak of.
