It just sits so wrong with me that there are now 6 little babies just what...at your disposal "in case" you need them? It puts a pit in my stomach. And if they're never needed...then what? They're just disposed of? Donated? I just cannot imagine either of my daughters sitting in a freezer somewhere as a safety net 😔

Can you share your experience with the saline sonogram? I have to go have one done as my husband and I are using donor sperm to build our family due to his male factor infertility. I would love if you could do a short video describing your experience with it. I’m anxious and nervous about the test.

It took me 6 months to conceive… good AMH at age 35, no apparent issues… fingers crossed for you. It is so hard to see all the negative tests, but it is normal for it to take time. As you mentioned, each month the likelihood to conceive is fairly low. But, IVF should speed up the process!

hi kaitlyn! i did 2 egg retrievals a few years back. i got only 3 eggs the first time and only 1 came back PGT normal. the second retrieval i only got 2 eggs and both came back PGT normal. so.... we had 3 normal embryos total. the first one i miscarried, the second one resulted in my beautiful daughter (4 now!) and the last one didn't take at all.... good luck to you and i am anxious to hear your results in a couple weeks!

Wow, how amazing 9 are good quality! Have you been following a “ferlitity diet”? taking any specific supplements? I’m doing another retrieval in November and I’ve been trying to do some “research”.

omgoodness those are fantastic numbers and such a low attrition rate!! I can't wait to hear the PGT update. I'm day 6 of stims today and starting ganirelix today---the stims are completely kicking my butt this time around --just horrible headaches and so much exhaustion I'm struggling to keep my eyes open--I probably have another 4-6 days left of stims as well. So ready to be on the other side of this retrieval.

Amazing numbers! So happy you're able to breathe easier and embrace life more knowing you have stored eggs in the bank! Hope you're feeling a little better :) My country is a little more conservative, I only got 5 mature eggs, 2 fertilised. I did the retrieval under no anaesthetic! Only green whistle. I will see if I got any embryos Wednesday (your tuesday)... This is my first egg retrieval. We do not usually do PGT testing here unless a parent has a genetic concern or due to more advanced age.
