  • This 20 min advanced/intermediate yoga flow is for those who are looking to take their practice to the next level. However, this video has enough modifications that it is also great as an overall full body lengthening and releasing class for anyone thats familiar with yoga.
    Take what you need from this class. From headstands to hip opening postures, this class will get you moving, strengthening, and challenging yourself like never before.
    But remember, be patient with yourself. As you push yourself, listen to your body and its limitations & please BE CAREFUL not to go past your own practice level. Yoga is a journey and where you are is perfect and exactly where you need to be. Challenge yourself through gentle physical challenge, concentration, and acceptance. Be ok with where you are in each pose. Don't rush it.
    Just breath, let go, and have a little fun with it. ;)

    When you’re young, you’re always worrying what other people are thinking about you.
    When you reach middle age, you no longer care what other people think of you.
    And when you’re old, you realise, everyone was just thinking about themselves all along.

    I did my first headstand today with this video. I've been doing your videos since last May, usually 3-4 a day mix between yoga, pilates and fitness. Last December I was doing this video and decided to just toy with the headstand and felt my body start to go there but fear took over and I came straight down. I became pregnant shortly thereafter and 2 months later lost the baby. After some serious grieving and some serious time doing your yoga for pms and restoration and other easy yoga and yin yoga videos for healing I decided to take my pain and turn it into determination to do the one pose I was afraid of, the headstand. I've been working up the strength and guts over the past month and a half. And today I did it. Thank you. There aren't words for how much practicing with you has changed my life. All the love and light. Melanie

    As an athlete who has suffered significant peripheral nerve damage in my leg, adding yoga to my rehabilitation regime, has opened up a completely new avenue & paradigm to the way I connect with my body & think about mobility in every aspect of my life. Perhaps more importantly, it has profoundly augmented the manner in which I approach physical, mental & emotional maintenance, and ultimately, living. My injury has given me a sobering insight into the kind of age related deterioration that we will all suffer at some point in our lives (both physically & mentally). It's also been a firm reminder of the importance of remaining fluid & adaptive & responsive in my mentality & approach, which is right in line with some of the concepts I am learning through yoga. I am very thankful that I have gained life altering insight & tools at a relatively young age, when I can reap maximum benefit (in all areas of my life) that will reverberate far into my future, as opposed to age-gained wisdom in the far future, when circumstances (physical, mental, personal & interpersonal) have possibly progressed to the point that these tools & insight may only partially mitigate certain undesired situations. Sure, it sounds like a misguided truism of the hopelessly romantic, but there really is a positive consequence & benefit to everything that happens to us, especially the most trying, difficult, inexplicable & painful events. Admittedly, I've had a hell of a time at points in the last 2.5 years, but my situation has led me to explore a different perspective, which ultimately, has led me "here"; to the grand here. My new epoch. The difference between recognizing those positive consequences and completely missing out on them, is purely a matter of perspective & perception. Straddle the line of realism & eternal optimism. Embrace the things that may otherwise bring you down. Learn first to accept what is. Then, seek the way to mould what is, into what you want. Patience, Diligence & Self-Discipline. Much love everyone!

Watching you on this video shows I have a long way to go but am truely loving it and will gradually attempt more, It is beautiful on so many levels. Thank you for showing some of which is possible.

    I never do this but i just had to leave a comment on this video. I started doing this video 2 weeks ago, and I could barely do any of the moves and had to push myself to even make it through the video. I've done this workout almost everyday for the last 2 weeks and now I can do almost every move (except the bird of paradise). I had to really push myself in this workout. I love your videos and your channel. Thank you so much and keep making these amazing videos for us!

    Great advanced flow for those of us who are actually intermediate. It would be great to get more of these levels that are in between, and especially without the handstand or an alternative to it (since it can cause neck and spine damage if executed incorrectly).

    I so so so loved this flow! I have to admit that it was challenging and my head stand will need some practice. However after completing the class I understood that I challenged myself and it felt incredible. I could actually do the bird of paradise posture! Please do more intermediate/advanced practices like this. They really help improve the practice and dive deeper into yoga.

      I read somewhere that any stretches/exercises that loosen the hips, pelvis and lower back really help with cramps. I don't know any specific poses though sorry

    • @coralovesnature
      @coralovesnature 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is a yoga flow on this channel called "Perfect Full Body Yoga - Detox & Digestion". This flow really helps the whole digestive system area and I have found that it is a great one to do during your period.

    • @MyraHanz
      @MyraHanz 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Do yin yoga fusion for flexibility with the hamstrings, quads, hips. Yin yoga generally targets deep into the connective tissues in the hips, pelvis and lower spine (YAY! just the perfect spot for cramps am I right?) plus this advanced yoga to heat up your stretched muscles from yin yoga to give you the comforting warmth you need to feel relief from the cramps while keeping it still very deeply stretched. I'm sorry I've just seen this comment after 7 months, you might have been through 7 cramps already! Haha jk. But in the future you know what to do. I think theoritically, if you practice yin yoga everyday you might even PREVENT the cramps from happening because you keep on stretching the muscles that would otherwise be tightened up during cramps. So, prevention is better than cure. Hope it helps!
      Peace, love and blessings!

    I just want to let you know @bohobeautiful that you have inspired me in so many ways to constantly get better. I tried doing other yoga videos but nothing compares to yours! I am not sure why is that; could be the scenery, the music, or your ways of direction but I enjoy yoga now and I practice it daily doing your videos repeatedly! Please continue making awesome videos like this. Thank you so much, more power to you, and God bless!

    Any recommendations with loosening hamstrings to get into some of these poses better? I have really tight hamstrings that limit my ability to get into or go deep into some of the poses. Great session though, it wore me out:)

    • @MyraHanz
      @MyraHanz 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Try boho beautiful's yin yoga fusion for flexibility or how to get the splits or like I always do, do both of the videos one after the other. It helps tremendously on achieving the standing full splits and bird of paradise (I'm 80% to perfecting it! after almost 2 weeks of trying the advanced pose) but I've been doing how to get the splits for almost half a year because I've been longing to do the splits for solely on achieving it. Now obviously with yoga it is required. If you try them with the advanced yoga you'll be surprised you can actually see a leap of progress in no time! Best of luck! Blessings, peace and love

      Have you tried doing it with support? Like, try first doing against a wall, and then try against a couch so it's only half support, and then work your way to no support =) headstands are really fun once you get them

      Try doing it starting with a position similar to crow but with your head on the ground, (a tripod), then tighten your core and bring your legs slowly straight up. I find it easier and safer that way then going straight from the wide legged forward fold
