Too bad the Chicago media didn't show D Rose any love or respect after the Bulls traded him to New York. They loved him when he was playing well, but when he got injured, just like in typical fashion, the Chicago media and some fans turned on him and quickly forgot everything he brought to Chicago sports, particularly the Bulls.

This might sound crazy, in someway he's playing better now then he did back then. He's just decided to be as flashy about the way he does, and he's doing it coming off the bench. He doesn't need starter minutes to give you starter production.
No you're right twin most ppl don't know this but last season rose per 36 mins was putting up better ppg than his mvp season...he could easily still be a all star if he wants be he stated that he likes coming off the bench thibs is not forcing him off the bench he wants that 6th man of year 🌹

His IQ and playmaking are definitely improved, but he’s lost a little speed for sure along with his vertical. But now his floaters and step back jumper have improved so much Like you said tho he preserves his body and can’t go for 35 minutes every night. 6th man of the year candidate tho and per 36 minutes his stats are all star numbers still 💪🏼

Well of course it’s later in his career. His jumper is more developed. He changed his play style from uncontrollable dunker to a Well developed shooter. He’s always had a great basketball IQ. True fans of D 🌹 have been PATIENTLY waiting to see this form and absolute killer mentality return. I will clarify- I am NOT a knicks fan, but I’m rooting for D🌹. This man was so influential to the young kids in IL. You didn’t see the park courts as filled up as they were during this mans time in IL. That’s facts.

If I was to wear a Jersey of a former Bulls player it would be Oakley and Rose but in a Knicks Jersey. I will never ever wear a Bulls Jersey, Knick for life. Drose has my love and respect. he played some decent minutes a few years ago in the playoffs for the knicks and his numbers if he was playing 35 min would have been like 25 plus. He could still be a top 7 pg if he was given the minutes but i think most still worry about that leg
