He right. You can hear the difference in how he speaks and articulate's himself. But notice that's the only thing he spoke abt. Not abt family or anything else, even ATLEAST first. Why? Because like he said, it took him to get injured to feel this way about himself with just his speech alone. It's sad it always takes us THAT much energy to conquer one thing, and also, to get hurt in some way, to fall out of love for the things we love the most; because pain forces us to sit and stare at it from the outside, looking in; and we eventually make excuses abt WHY, what we once loved, we don't love anymore, because our drive and performance has changed and we're too afraid to say that and STILL push. The world's energy that it transfers into us, and what we accept, is crazy. You right DR, but don't give up and let the pain beat chu. And that's for all us. Tell the pain it's right and STILL do what it told you NOT to do. And that's win.

Rose will always be a legend to me. I don’t care about his points or if he’s starting or even playing, just how he always carried himself different than others. Especially like his era is really when things became crazy. Everyone making crazy money and getting crazy exposure. He just did his own shit. Sad his career didn’t turn out how anyone thought but happy he’s happy and matured as a man.

D Rose represents everyday people. No matter what life path you come from, we can always improve. Improvement never stops!!! I remember when I seen his introvert acts in the All-Star game. When LeVron and Dwight Howard came out dancing. He just looked at them like, I hope yall wasn't looking forward to me dancing, and gave a simple salute. While LeBron and Dwight carried on.

I went to kindergarten with him, he dunked on my teammate in 8th grade. He wouldn’t know me from a can of paint, but he is the only ball player I love. He made me proud of the bulls, Englewood, of Simeon (where my mah went), and of Chicago. It is amazing to see him grow from a kid who was the most talented point in the world into an adult who has really transformed his life.

I relate to D Rose so much on his growth in being able to express himself for who he truly is. I respect all that he’s done and his arch is a beautiful one. His basketball style is still unmatched in my opinion. His peaks were such a fun journey to watch- him coming up and bringing his talents to the NBA. It was a beautiful thing to watch and it will likely be my most cherished NBA memory for as long as I live.
