    I want to give you a huge thanks. I own a Sole F63 purchased in 2020. I had the same squeaky noise. The only difference is mine only squeaked in an incline position, not flat. I used your video and went through the entire diagnostic. I also bought some WD40 specialist lithium grease spray. I lubed all the bolts exactly as you said and made sure they were handtight. It hasn't squeaked since in the incline or flat. It was definitely the carriage bolt on the bottom left side doing most of the squeaking. Thanks for the help.

    Thank you!! Sole F63 owner here. I tried lubricating that lower left bolt with silicon spray lube and wd40 several times. I tried tightening and loosening the bolt, and still that annoying squeak was there. Your video was the only advice that worked: lithium lube and that SECOND hidden bolt under the the left leg cover. As soon as I lifted up the cover I saw rust on the nut. Was able to fix it in five minutes and now it is completely silent. THANK YOU!

      That’s what I love to hear.And you are very welcome. Yea wd40 is horrible for lube it is good for helping break nuts and bolts lose.

    Great advice and great video. Just a note: I've an F80 and the pivot points are in somewhat different places. I just found that I don't have to remove the plastic shield, which is good because the screw is in a miserable location, too deep for a shorty screwdriver and too close to the upright for a regular length driver and very difficult to get started. Hope this saves someone a few curse words.

    Very helpful video.
    I have a 2023 Sole F80 and it has the same exact squeaky noise. You would think they could put 10 cents worth of grease on it from the factory, crazy.
    The plastic cover was rattling bad on mine also, even when you lightly tapped it with your finger. I put these rubber stoppers underneath on each side and its solid as a rock now. Again, you would think they could put 10 cent rubber stoppers on it from the factory. 20 cents makes it go from sounding like a $200 cheap POS to a commercial grade rock solid treadmill.

    I have a Proform Smart 2000 treadmill that I believe needs lubricant on these points. They're not accessible like they are on this Sole Treadmill however. The motor hood does not come off my treadmill despite taking out all five screws. Do you have any idea how I can access these points on a Proform Smart 2000 so I can stop the terrible noise? I basically bought the F85 because I thought it was one of the quietest machines, but after just a couple weeks of use its making really loud squeaking noises on incline, pretty disappointed, I don't get how it being so new it could be rusting already, I will try this method, thank you for the video.

    • @FitnessTechnologyServices
      @FitnessTechnologyServices  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well so new it is not rust maybe just some loose bolts ? Check under the base cover on the left and right side

    • @justinpodur7015
      @justinpodur7015 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FitnessTechnologyServices After my first comment I actually held off doing it, decided to contact Sole Fitness/Dyaco, I was thinking my machine is like brand new, I shouldn't be messing with it, and maybe I could possibly void the warranty etc. They basically told me to record the issue, I did, they responded back with a PDF titled "Incline noise" basically diagrams of exactly what you did, you actually go a step further and do the left/right base cover area. Took me an hour to go to hardware store and do the procedure, I was definitely more messy in the procedure than how you made it look so easy (I'm no handyman) did the left/right like you, all said and done it worked! I'd say its 90% better with a lil bit squeak. I am thankful you posted this video it helped, and was way more thorough than their PDF. I am definitely not happy with Sole, I have a feeling I am going to be dealing with having to loosen and grease those areas somewhat often, and it happening after just a couple weeks of being brand new is very disappointing, no "sorry for the inconvenience" or nothing from them. Anyways, Thanks again! you have a new subscriber
