When I was a teenager I remember playing mortal combat in the arcade . This is amazing how far video games have come. I cant even imagine what they will look like in another 20 years.
@@jocasmath6987 During this fight with random generated abilities, he got really lucky with mikiri counter, none of the phases used sweeps or grabs. you cant use counter on those.

Never give up! But ofc give yourself a break when needed. Today I finally beat Genichiro Ashina who was the reason I quit playing the game for over a year. Now I feel like I can beat every other boss too (and I did kill quite a few, I also struggled with in the past...).
I didn't cheese it with any method. I jyst played it the normal way and died like 20 times then I finally defeated him. Btw kuro's rice ball and normal rice from divine child helped a lot. Can't express how good I felt.
I think cheesing is a legit and thematically fitting strategy, as you are shinobi, not a samurai. That being said, I missed the cheese part here. Well played!
And you're not even cheesin! I have found the best way to play this game ia get good at parrying and dodging. Get your timing down and you got it. I'm still stuck on this asshole but getting there

his 3rd phase is the hardest 4th us really easy because of the lightning, and 1st and 2nd are also easy

Pretty easy just by pressing “O”. Problem when some enemies slash in a circle where the counter is just by jumping and avoiding it.

No russel, this would not fly in ng+. Even perfect parries fill up your own bar to the max making one mistake posture break you.
Honestly this video helped a lot I learned how to block his moves now I can easily get into the second phase it's just the sweep attacks that get me
