I think Dec's enjoy the videos themselves at times. Also speedrunners do some impressive stuff with the glitches so maybe that's why they don't patch them.
Patches are just really expensive to issue, so they try to minimize the number
Hey, just wanna let you know theres an easier way to mist noble than going through the glutton's arena. You instead drop down to the place where the little palace mist noble is in, and you can double jump on one of the trees nearby to grab the ledge you'd normally get on by going through the path you showed. Its slightly faster and it isnt hard, i was able to do it on like my 3rd try

To be honest delayed jump isnt that hard. Maybe it was easier for me since i played the game on the ps4 but still it took me a couple of minutes to do it and once you get it right the muscle memory does its work.

yeah, I remember trying the gyobu skip on PS5 and it made me want to claw my eyes out.
As far as demon of hate goes, boss. He's the hardest boss in the game by far. Throws deflects out the window for the most part
The patch to fix the bull skip only made the bull skip easier 🤣

I'm glad Sekiro exists, not just because it's a great game, but because it shows that From Software can do non-Soulslike stuff and still be really successful.

Fun fact: While deflecting lightning usually deals fixed damage, this isn't true for Divine Dragon. If you fight him with low attack power, you'll have to fling a lot more lightnings into his face than usual.
There was one as well that never got patched for the True Corrupted Monk. It basically involved you having to do a jump off the rock wall to trigger a 3 hit combo with a slam and when you re-spawned back on the bridge, she would be hovering over the wall and you could just slap her till she went to second phase, throwing ash would stun her so there were no illusions and she would just t-pose until she faded into the shadow realm.
Wow that's fantastic lol I know of a way to get the True Monk to fall out of the map, but yours is way funnier
I somehow glitched her when I jumped off the cliff and skipped the rest of her phases

This video is great. Editing is top shelf, commentary is the right amount of informative while not dragging on, and the technical explanation is broken up by funny bits that aren't overbearing. Plus the dedication of learning these incredibly hard exploits. Seriously 10/10, one of my new favorite channels.

You didn't mention it, but in mibu you don't need to run through the glutton area to kill the mist noble. There is a tree you can double jump on top of next to the house and go directly to the roof
If you want to get to guardian ape without the key, you can do it.
You need to pupeteer the guy at senpo that lifts the kite, then grapple from the tree to get to the cave in the sunken valey (where youd kill the snake) the snake wont be there tho. So you have to poison yourself with kontakt medicine and jump down to where the snake would be (landing on the Rock) this would normaly reset you back up to were you were. But if you die midair from the contact medicine and land on the Rock dead from poison, you can revive and drop down in the water below
Right but you'd need to kill Folding Screen Monkeys to get Puppeteer, and to kill them you'd need to have killed Genichiro, meaning you have the Gun Fort Key anyway. I wish I had been able to show off Snake Skip though because it is a really cool exploit! I even tried Airswimming to avoid needing to use the kite, but if you're swimming when you enter the snake's cave, the game kills you. So unfortunately its just not a very useful glitch anymore :/
@@PhobiaSoft oh alright. But since i have your Atention maybe you could make a video about doing the gyobu/demon skip and afterwards the bullskip in the reflecion fights? Its not usefull at the moment but its interesting, you go into a kind of glitched version of ashina where the idols dont funktion. In the demon version you can loop back around and reenter the demon fight with the ministry guys fighting the revived demon, and the Area turns realy stormy it looks epic

@@OzzyBlazeGaming i mostly upload sekiro fights... but theres also definitely things you didn’t know that you can learn from those fights. Especially the new lady butterfly fight and lone Shadow one.

you can also cheese corupted monk by using contact medicine, sneak behind the boss and then use mist raven to get enough height for deathblow

actually, snake-eyes has a pacifist exploit! aggro her, and then jump on the head of the statue around the corner; she'll follow you, stop in her tracks, and die of poison over time! found this by accident whilst eating lunch one day :)
You can do the gyobu and demon skip, fighting them again in the reflexion after witch you can do the bullskip leading you into a glitched ashina, you cant go to senpo tho only to sunken valey and the depts

@@johantitulaer1052 Yeah I think the animations alone took around 2 weeks lol I can't promise its something I'll do all the time, but I felt like I had to for this video since Sekiro's game order is so complex. I knew glitching it was only going to make it more difficult to follow! I'm glad it was worthwhile :)

For the Oniwa glitch, go behind the wall across from the ledge he falls from, then run straight through the left side of the tree by the ledge and make sure he follows you. He will get caught on the tree while attempting to charge after you. He will keep running while stuck. Then climb the tower and go to the building edge for him to turn around and fall
I really love this video style where you go through the game in order instead of semi randomly going through the glitches. I still really appreciate your other videos but I prefer this style. Love your content

For anyone wanting to do the bull skip on console I highly recommend mapping the reset camera button to the movement stick
For anyone struggling to land the initial jump for fountain head palace skip, if you hit the platform when you glitch into the wall but then fall, close the game and reload and it will put you onto the platform, from there, continue the glitch. I’m on my first playthrough and didn’t realise this wasn’t accessible because of the ending I chose
Double deathblow still works I think. When you break a boss posture for the first time and the deathblow attack is enable, you wait until the last possible time to do it. While you are waiting the boss is recovering posture but you can still input the deathblow. By doing it at the last possible frames, your deathblow will also count for posture damage for the second phase. Meaning that after the first deathblow, you will just a couple of hits at most to break his posture again and you get an instant second deathblow

surprised you didn't mention the Mist Noble tree jump! if you were doing a speedrun it saves about a minute so it's pretty useful

Well i am a bit late doe, but insanely good video :), although ik some of the bugs after 5 years and 300 hours in the game it facinates me to this day how versatily you can play this game and what is possible. Love your videos keep it up

You can skip lone shadow longswordsman by using contact medicine you poison yourself above where you plunge the great serpent, time it so you die above the death barrier but fall onto a portion of rock below the death barrier, then ressurect. You can go past the second great serpent to get to the shirahagi arena, although you need puppeteering or extreme luck to pull that off. This strat is pretty difficult, but not impossible.
For corrupted monk, you can sneak behind her and use contact medicine to poison yourself, then use the mist raven without touching a direction; this will put you up in the air, just high enough to hit the stealth deathblow.
Snake Skip and Monkey Skip are mutually exclusive. You can't do both in one playthrough, because you need Puppeteer to enter the snake's cave, and you never beat the Folding Screen Monkeys to get it. I really wanted to include that one though!
But you can get past the second serpent without puppeteering by using mist raven as soon as you grapple the ledge

7:32 I used this trick on the demon for one of my play through and never felt right about it since. I never officially beat him until a couple months back. I was scrolling through my library and decided to take him on. I officially beat him finally!! then I went and did the boss rushes and their harder versions. Getting all the costumes is a real achievement! It’s just sad that the final boss rush doesn’t give you anything if you beat it.

There is actually a tree right out of the most noble boss that allows you to jump on the roof and fight the boss without running around the forest

for o' rin if you run past her and get her to follow you, once you get her passed the bridge you can attack her dodge behind her attack her dodge behind her attack her, and she won't fight back, she will just keep walking back towards the bridge. for BOTH phases, easy cheese, found it accidentally on my 4th playthrough, but don't attack her more than once without dodging because she will snap out of it and chase you to the ends of the earth

Hey there! Maybe it's only my problem, but I can't actually skip to fountainhead palace. At the moment where I need to quick save load in Ashina depths, game doesnt load me underneath the rock, but in the place on 22:56 and I just keep getting to that place again and again
I cant get the illusion monk to stagger back, she just stays there with her feet bobbing slightly, i saw a remnant right there where someone used 2 items drank one and used another one and jumped high enough to do the death blow, do yow know how they did this and what items they used? Also im on xbox series x.

Could you do a video or go in depth on a glitch where you can take out genechiro and isshins first two health bars by jumping on them then you do yashariku which then causes you to break their stance again as you take the first health bar.
how long does it normally take for the armored worrier to step off the ledge because for me hes stuck for a good 3 minutes at least, do i need to stand in a certain spot

Sekiro is genuinely my favorite game of all time. I've lost count of how many times I've played through the story. Im playing through right now. lol, I just made it to the Hirata estate. Beat 3 mini bosses. I have 12 skill points used to get back to feeling like a shinobi. Time to have fun lol
10:23 FINALLY, someone who thinks so too. everyone says ichimonji is better but i dont rlly agree cuz ichimonji sometimes keeps u open after execution even with ichimonji double unlike mortal draw which allows u to start deflecting almost as soon as u execute it
I agree , I was also disappointed with ichimonji.
I just unlocked it but too me it felt slow.
Or maybe my controller response time is bad.
But there is a slight delay when I press LB + RB for Ichimonji.
By the time I do an overhead attack the Ashina Castle Genral is just killing me with a swing.
So I tried using WhirlSlash in Combat Arts.
@@LazyCoder20 don't charge it. Honestly, I literally never used any other skill. Ichimonji double carried me to platinum. Use it after mikiri or jumping counter to increase it effectiveness. It decrease your posture while allowing you to keep the attack going.

I am on Shura ending trying to beat isshin and Ichimonji double is crazy skill.
It does so much posture damage and once you doge his( ishhin ashina's) Ichimonji and circle behind him and hit him with 2 Ichimonji double it does a lot posture damage.
Now I finally get why this is a great skill.
I think each skill has its important will surely explore other combat arts when I am on new game + or on other endings.
Great video Phobia and this actually looks like a really good game. There are other games set in Japan for example the Samurai Warriors games set in Japan around the 1300s or so made by Koei the same guys who did the Dynasty Warriors games. Anyway really good interesting video.

you don't need that jump. Jump into the window behind the ogre. When you're there, jump on the wall where you were trying to jump and hold, then just go around the castle.
