- In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the main bosses in elden ring can escape windmill village alive. Instead of taking the fight to the bosses as usual I decided it would be more fun to do the opposite and spawn the bosses there and see if they can actually survive 20 celebrants and one godskin apostle.

The fact that Gideon finished off the apostle and killed all but 1 of the celebrants before dying physically hurts. He was so close.
Just because of how powerful he is, I take his lore-betrayal that much more seriously.

Yet she still easily killed almost all of them because WFD and healing cover 90% of her weaknesses and the rot atleast makes it a trade

@@B0rnFr0mAsh What BS? The Crucible Knights did conquer the Lands Between. Lorewise everyone failed against Leyndell Army except the Carian (they had 20 Carian Knights)
Even Leyndell Army now (replace Hoarah Loux with Morgott) is stronger, because the Dragontree Sentinels & Morgott's multiple clones (Margit) are actually stronger. Its just Leyndell has have way more enemies than it used to.
And Malenia is much weaker without the Outer God/Goddess of Rot possessing her.
radagon was on a roll during this one. Countering the Apostle's spell, even dodging one of its slash with his teleport, the man was on a mission here.
Right? So satisfying to see the perfect dodge after he completely demolished the Apostle's homies.

Radagon's fight was by far the best, my man styled on them so hard he let the mob take out half his health before getting serious just to make it fair.

One of the coolest parts of this video is just seeing the scale of the fire giant with actual reference instead of just in a big snow field.
Chadagon: Deflects the god-slaying flame, goomba stomps the entire village, dodges Apostle's strike by leaping in the air, goomba stomps the entire village again, TELEPORTS out of Apostle's strike, DUCKS UNDER THE BLACK FLAME BALL WHILE CHARGING UP HIS SPECIAL MOVE, stops Apostle's strike by staggering him and proceeds to face tank his transformation and special move before coming down from the sky for the kill.
Bonus points for looking away from the explosion at the end.

The way he jumped high into the air dodging a slash at 16:36, the way he teleported while turned back to the apostle and dodged an attack at 16:45 and immediately after dodged a ball of blackflame with his another aoe attack, this fight was so good it almost feels choreographed
Plus radagon slapping away the black flame attack right at the beginning, I didn't even know that was a thing, lol.
He also deflected the phase 2 apostle explosion
Ok, I must admit that it is very funny to see Malenia finish off the apostle with her most powerful attack, it is like a "I will show you my true power only for you to die knowing that I was only playing with you"
19:55 watching Hoarah Loux attacking the last two remaining mooks after killing the Apostle feels like a predator jumping at it's prey.

I’m gonna be honest, randomly finding windmill village my first time just freaked the shit out of me. The way those witches just stare at you and dance like if you’re not there just sends shivers down my spine.
At first I was like "finally some happy, normal people", and then I was like "they still attack me though, too bad" and after seeing the spirit by the campfire and the godskin apostle I was like "I will burn this place till there's nothing left but the bones of those old bitches"
Gave me flashbacks of Hemwick Charnel Lane from Bloodborne.
That shit felt straight out of Stephen King. I was not having it.

I really admire the effort the developers put for making the combat in this game such a spectacle that even a non player myself could still appreciate the game. So cool!
Astel and Fire Giant look so damn cool standing next to the windmills, something to contrast their sheer size really makes their designs pop

That was pretty cool. I did not expect Mogh to survive, but he clutched with that Nihil. Godfrey, First Elden Chad was great, as usual. My favourite was probably the Beast Cleric, for how the fight ended: casually impaling that last villager and then staring down over her corpse as if asking, "You really thought you had a chance? After all that?"

The fact that all his good AoE are in phase 2...and he got stunlocked into never making that transition XD...is what sealed his fate. The ladies are getting SO MUCH BBQ tonight XD
Horan Loux shouting and making everyone fall has to be one of the coolest images in this whole thing. Imagine striking that kind of fear into a group of adversaries.

He did that to me the very first time I fought him. I had to do a double take when he slapped the shit out of my blackflame fireball, literally designed to kill gods like him!
He's unimpressed by the dollar store Blackflame that everyone uses after Maliketh sealed its true power away
Radagons entire fight was like Madara vs the Shinobi Alliance
I really like having the bosses in another environment. It brings a new perspective to their scale, and makes the fight funner to watch
And massively breaks some bosses like the dragons.
Always loved how each boss’s personality shines through the ai code. Almost like each move is intentional behind their unique expressions.
That Rykard fight really showcased why he's in a puddle of lava. His attacks have such a far minimum range, he just simply missed almost all of them because the enemies were that close to his body.
I was watching him thinking "damn, so if I just stayed right in close he's super easy? Why didn't I try that?!"
Because he's in a fucking volcano, that's why
The safest way to kill him has always been to get some decent fire resist, get as close as you can and just spam L1 while hugging him and sipping a potion from time to time.

He's not actually "in a pool of lava" he actually has lava surrounding him whenever he moves.
They definitely did this so people would abuse the fight.

That Radagon fight almost felt like a movie kind of timing. Parried the black flame right at the beginning as if saying "your opener is too weak". Then when the crowd started to get to him, it looked as if he's losing the fight, then he start doing all that AoE and sweeping everything around him. Even that dodgge on 16:44 looked perfect. The finisher was really nice as well, though for a moment there I thought he got yeeted on 17:08.
That's why someone should make an Elden Ring anime. The choreography is all right there in the game.
Also that moment when the apostate hit him and he went flying but then just leaped back with the kill. so freakin cinematic. Definite Style points win over the fire giant just fat rolling his way to victory (the shield held him back).
I felt the same way when Radagon beat my ass
Shortly after that dodge he also ducked under the blackflame when he slammed his hammer to the ground
I feel like the terrain was the most dangerous enemy for some of these fights.
This took the saying, “it takes a village” to a whole new meaning 😂
The way Mohg made the Apostle Nihil before him and then Mohged all over the last two was pretty brutal.

Mohg's nihil was such a clutch move from him, dude had a pixel or two of health left and just said "nah, I've decided I'm not gonna die"
I kind of like it on a lore level as it illustrates how his power is acquired from the outer god of blood. In this case it was random but still kinda satisfying.

I can't believe Mohg was fumbling so hard, then at the last second decided to use an AOE move instead of missing the same attack for the dozenth time and suddenly he was playing on easy mode. What a turn of the tides 😂

The Fire Giant was a brutal beat down! I loved it.
Overall summary of the video:
1) Gideon was THIS CLOSE to greatness but lost.
2) Mogh got a cliffhanger and barely clutched a victory.
3) Radagon showed some style
4) Beast Clergyman somehow did better than Maliketh
5) Fortissax bugged out and couldn't land his best attack cause of the damn landscape
6) Fire giant just road-rolled everything
7) Godfrey/Hoarah Loux shredded everything to pieces
8) Elden beast, once again, brought a flamethrower.
9) Astel was lagging severely but still won.
10) Everyone else got dogpiled to death.
11) And Placidusax sadly wasn't invited to the show☹️

It's odd how truly lore friendly a lot of the results of these are and goes to show that the player themselves who may die to the same enemies also has the capability to destroy those enemies.
Fighting against maliketh on open ground without a pillar to hide behind is a nightmare.
Love the end of Radagon fight, how he casually turns around with explosion behind him. True boss.
I feel like Morgott could actually be one of the tougher bosses in these videos, but that phase change absolutely murders him.
His AI has no idea how to deal with crowds. He just plows headlong into danger.
The Phase change actually helps him more than you think. That AOE gives him a chance to win a lot more fights he'd lose. Godrick is the one that has the worst phase change lol.
@@mee091000 yeah but it takes way too long, it doesn't matter that it gives him absurd damage resistance when his health isn't impressive for his place in the game and he has more than two dozen enemies wailing on him. He also really shouldn't have a mere 80 poise, that's Malenia level poise and she's less than half his size.
lets give him a 2x speed buff and see what happens hehe then everytime he loses we increase his speed hehehehahaha!

This channel is the best. No peddling better help or kamikoto or some bad mobile game, just exactly what's in the title
Radahn's big issue is that he has to go through all of his animations, it sucks because he could easily win if it wasnt for this big downside, so every time hes getting jumped he has to go through those extra long attack animations due to his phase switching, if he could skip right to meteor he'd be fine
The amount of times he died because he's forced to do the cragblade thing before the meteor XD I'm having trouble with him and I think I'll try to exploit that next. Taking it slow and careful is apparently not the way.
You would think the bigger the boss the more damage and harder they would be but Gideon being so nimble and quick he was able to do some really nice evading and spells.

I have newfound respect for Godskin Apostle. The amount of fights that looked unwinnable that he clutched out was insane.
And this was the weakest version of the Apostle. The one at the Divine tower of Caelid could probably do better.
The black flame is really good at melting the bosses' health
Yea for some reason Caelid is scaled up to super endgame levels. Caelid Godskin Apostle has 14379 health while Radagon has 13339 which is absolutley insane. And im pretty Sure the bell bearing Hunter from Caelid can beat Most bosses in the game. He has as much health as Maliketh and some of the highest dps in the game.

I was so shocked by Radagons casual backhanded deflect of the black fire bomb I had to go back and watch it 2 more times just to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
I watched many videos of things fighting bosses, and in my mind i always imagine how it will be, as i know - just by watching these, never played - the more common initial attack pattern of all of them.
So it is really interesting to see that, stripped away from their lairs, many os the bosses act entirely different as a first approach than when in their arena. Be it because of distance, be it just because. Very interesting how the programing of these bosses ir so versatile. Maybe is common for games of this age, but i'm not a gamer (stopped in PS2; returning starting now with a PC and BG3) so for me it is quite a thing to see the AI of these things. Specially when it comes to the more agile and dodgy bosses.

Strategy games have and rpgs used to have these kind of spectacle fights and it was a sight to behold, which this feels like. 👍
This is by far one of my Favorite videos of 2023 so far. God this game is so good.
Nice to see that even the Elden Ring Ai can pause and appreciate the epic effects of the Nihil transition.

@@quota4eva if he removes all the enemies at the start of the bridge, leaving the closest one on the other side of the bridge to aggro the bosses, it could work out. But I think removing everything else will be a tedeous job
