@@GlorytotheImperium It's possible..... just not as good as other methods. On a side note, don't you find it funny that someone named "The Sword Saint" has to use a gun and giant spear to beat you?
First time playing Sekiro. Beat sword saint in 7 tries all I did to cheese him was jumped to the left and while in the air charged up mortal draw. I swear it hit him every single time
@@jojohaj1087 He's either lying or he's mistaken. This is pre-patch. You can tell by his move set and his tracking. Now, you can't have the umbrella out and side step those spear swings. They made it so now, you can use the umbrella but he usually breaks your posture by the time you get a chance to unload it. 100% lying or mistaken. This is pre-patch.
@@The_Reaper_of_Death I've beaten him a few times now. You can't. Maybe every now and then. But, the patch changed the tracking so that you can't just side step most moves anymore. At first, you could basically side step almost every boss to death. Not anymore. Like I said, there are some, but a lot of bosses now can change their blow's direction mid swing. Like I said, there are exceptions. Like the first part. When you see him load up to stab you with the sword. Before he's reveled as The Sword Saint, you can side step that if you don't want to counter it. But his spear is WAY more accurate now. You can side step the wave moves too. Other than that, you have to just be better at the game now.
