I'm in Tucson and have got #520 Racing Yellow. I absolutely love it. Made a few mods. If this bike is available, I'd grab it right away and have it shipped wherever you are in the country!
Congratulations! I hope it came across in the video my feelings about it. What did you change or add if you don't mind me asking? Enjoy yours and thanks for sharing.
@MotorcycleDemoRiders yeah you sound like me. I'm an "old guy" 😄 I took off the passenger foot pegs, swapped out the heel guards for carbon and Evotech tail tidy. Got the Triumph scrolling indicators. Oh, and Antigravity lithium battery.
@@TriumphLover lol being an old guy is something I'm very proud of. My kids started calling me that when they were about 16 and I love it so I kept it. Very tasteful mods and keep sheding the weight of an all ready super light bike. Bet it flicks in even better now. Stay Safe and let me know if you have any issues in the future with it. I like to keep a record of that information to possibly help others in the future.
@MotorcycleDemoRiders I'm in the garage sitting next to the bikes. The Street Moto2 also has factory accessories. The CNC brake reservoirs, engine covers, frame protectors, black oil filer cap, heated grips, tank pad, the fork protectors, swing arm protectors, cruise control, the connectivity module, the sport bar ends, the bobbins, black chain adjuster block, black bobbins. That's it. I haven't got kids but I do have 5 pretty new Triumphs. They're my boys. 🤣
I have #571 in the same color scheme. It handles great, suspension isn't harsh on real roads, brakes are fantastic, quick shifter is buttery smooth. TBH though, it's missing something though that my 2012 Street Triple or 2020 Speed RS have. The Speed is a Hinckley bike, beautiful to look at it with the sss rear, twin under tail Arrow cans, more of that old school straight cut gear whistle to the engine. This Moto2 is almost too refined, and for me, has lost the raw appeal that the first gen bike had. It's deviated too much from the original ST3. Great bike, but I can't help but compare it to my 1st gen, and that's when it starts to fall short.
It's an interesting observation no doubt. Nice collection of bikes to compare with also. I agree with you on the front that it is very refined. Everything on this bike is nearly perfect in my opinion which is great but yes it has lost some of that raw feeling you get from an earlier model. I actually bought the 2012 Daytona after I rode it because of that raw appeal. Still refined a bit but not as refined, I guess. It's funny the things that you look for as you get older and more experienced, I guess. That said for me if someone wants to experience what a nearly perfect motorcycle is you don't need to look much further than the 2024 Street Triple 765. And to be honest I wouldn't want to put an inexperienced rider on an older model but while the current model is powerful it can also be tame due to the refined nature of it. Tradeoffs of innovation I suppose. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing you experience and thoughts. I am sure it will shed some light for others that are looking at this and other bikes. Stay safe and keep the addiction!
Want!
It's an amazing machine without a doubt!

The Triumph dealer told me that cruise control is not available on the Moto 2 is that correct?
