mate, cracking vlog from you both yet again and the way you create your reviews from a position of pure passion. I have owned a few trumpets over the years my first being the MK1 2006 Daytona 675, 2012 Speed triple, several Tiger 800xc's and the latest as you know being the bike you have just thrown your leg over. I've owned this particular bike for just over a year now and I couldn't be happier with how it rides and your explanation just hits every nail on the head. The bike originally was bought with continental enduro tires and no front fender which offered a unique Cafe racer style but for me and the riding I wanted to do those tires were way to sketchy in the damp and so swapped out for rubber currently on. I am a die hard triumph fan for many reasons which started with with my older brother David rolling up on his brand new TD595 in glorious red and from that day I was hooked. The characteristics of the 675 motor and indeed this bike when hitting the tapas tarmac available on this island never fails to create a grin like a Cheshire Cat. As you said, it just doesn't feel like a 15yr old machine and a big thanks to you and Monika for this passionate piece of footage and to of course to John Bloor for many many kilometre's of incredible joy aboard his fantastic Triumph machinery. When we off for a spirited ride again lad🏍🏍😁
@@stuckintheeighties487 thanks very much. When Freddie said he wanted to do a review on the street triple 675 I instantly offered mine. The contrast I have is from my very first triumph the 06 Daytona 675 when I was younger to now riding this 09 street triple which I thoroughly enjoy and is just perfect for the roads available in Tenerife and my added years ha. Its such a joy to own and as Monika attested even suitable for a pillion and my girlfriend is more than happy on the back exploring this and neighbouring islands. Triumph really did re invent themselves to the fullest with these 2 models and have since created some fantastic motorbikes. think im stuck in the nineties for a while 😁👍

Freddies vlog has rekindled that thought, if a decent early bike comes up I'd be tempted...I do have 3 bikes from the 80's, an 84 gpz900r, an 87 fzr1000, and an 89 rd350 ypvs. I love this era of bikes.(well I am stuck in the 80s!) @@paultomlinson3436 beautiful bike sir! I bought a wrecked street triple that I've rebuilt, she runs and rides like an absolute dream now! And the same thing happen again and again...: I put it to the garage for annual service when spring starts so it is perfect for the next owner... I drive it back home once the service is done... The bug eyes to me are beautiful. It reminds me of Mission Impossible 2. I must also mention that the backdrops in this episode are stunning and full credit goes to Monika for capturing them so well on video.
This specific bike with the white tank and old school seat looks absolutely amazing. Really shows wher good taste can bring you, just a couple asthetic mods and it's one in a million.
I owned a 2009 Street Triple and it was a fantastic bike, especially the way it looked. Looks great in white with brown seat, and the twin headlights are a lot cooler than what followed!
Really like the way you talk about these second hand bikes. I like how you point out that this was a sweet spot in history where the bike is as good as it needs to get. It could have more power but doesn’t need it. It could have electronic suspension but it’s perfectly fun just as it is. And a beautiful bike too.
TH-cam recommended this video to me today. I bought my first bike, a gen 1 striple in their signature pearlescent green in July 2021. I paid £4000 from a dealer, she had 24000 miles with part service history, I’ve done 6000 miles and had her serviced twice. She is completely unmolested with orignal mirrors and exhaust cans etc. Hands down, the best bike I could have chosen as a first bike. None of these fancy gizmos and computers to keep me upright, just me and the machine at one… I absolutely couldn’t have agreed more with you when you explained about the addictive nature of dropping the speed and gear then accelerating right back up. They’re a real head turner wherever you go and I have no problem keeping up with modern bikes. Triumph really were triumphant with this masterpiece. This video is so well made and you eloquently explained the subtle yet key points of the street triple. Subscribed and look forward to seeing more of your videos
I am rewatching this video one year on from purchasing my 2008 Street Triple. It was this video that made me decide this was the bike for me. I prefer its lighter weight compared to my old ST 1050 Sprint. Thank you Freddie, I have not regretted the purchase and just waiting for the weather to pick up again this week to be able to enjoy a day out and about. Living in Suffolk, it gives me a chance to explore some of the venues you have visited when you were living in Ipswich. Pity I missed you in Southwold the other week on the Norton!
I've got to say when I originally came across Freddie I thought he was a bit poncy & pretentious... I watched a couple of videos & now am totally addicted to his enthusiasm, charm & intelligence. He brings alot to motorbike journalism. 🏍....
My thoughts exactly - what’s a well dressed well spoken gentleman doing slumming it with motorbikes? It doesn’t take long for him to win you over though with his enthusiasm and balanced opinions. Too many bike reviewers love everything about everything don’t they? Also his music choices and Monica’s cinematography make this my favourite YT biking channel.
Great vid Freddie, that 675 engine is truly a groundbreaking engine for Triumph. I was at a presentation at Triumph last night, the very first 1901 bike, the Millionth Tiger 900 and the half Millionth Speed Triple that Ross Noble rode around England. Was lucky to chat to Triumph's former head of engineering responsible for the design and development of nearly all modern Triumph models. He told me every triple currently in production is a development of that original Daytona engine. That Millionth bike has a longer stroke variation of the engine in your test ride bike. Stunning bike that my wife also owns and loves.
That is incredible- I will remember this fact about the engines, thank you🙂🙌🏻 I bet that was a great evening- it’s such a great place for events and soaking in the culture at Hinckley
@@FreddieDobbs We are lucky to live so close by to Hinckley, they do bike nights there now (vid on my channel) A chap called Dick Shepherd owns and shows many of the bikes in the Triumph museum, a really cool guy and so nice to talk to. Wife and I are now booked to Tenerife later in the year to ride. Your vids have been an inspiration for places to go and things to see. Thanks and best wishes. Richard and Carol
Loved my 2010 Street Triple 675r, black, gold wheels, stunning. I regret selling it but hope I will get another for the garage at some point. Amazing bike.
Thank you for your wonderful report about this first generation Street Triple. The filming is great and gives a whole new, human perspective on the ride. All the features you describe make the experience so great. The seating position, the chassis, the look, the engine. The engine. I have been riding a 2012 R model for a few weeks and riding is addictive. The 2012 model lost the chrome headlights but gave a modern look even by today's standards. It was largely unchanged technically, but has been refined again before the 2nd Gen. model with the low exhaust came out. It had a new ECU was installed. The way the throttle is applied changes the ignition setting. The gearbox is easier to shift, no searching for neutral. Compared to the 2nd Gen. Street Triple, the 2012 still has the short first gearing ration. This further intensifies acceleration from a standstill and at lower speeds. A truly outstanding bike. The pure opposite of my first generation Speed Triple from '96.
This would be the bike of my choice if I ever moved away from the 70s classics that remind me so much of my youth, presently riding a fully restored 1972 Honda CB450 K5. I have owned a Triumph in the past, a 2000 export model Trident 900, great looks but so heavy especially with a full tank of fuel, any I digress from your vlog that once again is a credit to you both.
Loved the review Freddie. I have owned my 2009 street triple for the last 2 years. Its an awesome bike for commuting to work and also country rides on my days off. The whine from the timing gears and sound from the arrow exhausts always gets great comments from passers by.
Hi, thanks so very much for that video. You made my brother and me very, very happy. We were both looking for a used motorcycle and I was torn between the Street Triple, a Speed Triple 1050 and Aprilias Shiver 750. It was this video and the way you presented the Bike that made me choose my 1st gen Street Triple over a Speed Triple, were I found everything you said absolutely confirmed. My Brother chose a 2. gen Street Triple but with more mileage. I love my Street Triple - thx again.
This video is the reason I got my gen1 this year and I am in love with it the sound then engine everything about the bike amazing the and if any was to watch this and then go ride one the will see where the passion for this bike comes from wonderful machine
I still own and ride my 2010 Street Triple R... it's still got the chrome round headlights, but best of all, the 'R' came with fully adjustable suspension and the Daytona's 675 radial caliper brakes. I ordered mine with the original Triumph Arrow pipes, Arrow Rearsets and quickshifter... what an angry little rocket she is. All my riding mates have modern bikes less than 3 years old. We swap bikes and I ride them all... but the truth is, none of them do it for me like my bike does. It's raw and just excites... and constantly whispering in ear "Go on then... give it some!" I don't care how much they go up in value, I'm keeping mine forever. Still haven't ridden a more exciting bike for the road.
Freddie, love that you made this video mate. I remember when I first heard of the Street Triple 675 years ago, and when I finally got my hands on one, it gave me a feeling from motorcycling that I'd never had before. Even just hearing the engine turn over gets me excited to ride - I've never had so much joy on a machine before!
Currently have a 09 street triple r white in black gold forks. I got a lot of compliments whenever I’m riding my bike around town. Those whistles and grunts just brings out the hooligan in ya. Nimble and got that classical look. Couldn’t be more happier getting it as my first bike.
It’s also worth noting the colors of the first gen. Lime green! Crazy neon orange! Triumph new it was a great bike to just throw those styles out there.
Owning a flaming red Street Triple 2011 I really enjoyed your video while nodding "yes" with my head. The chrome headlights shouted at me "buy me, ride me". Best bike ever, will hold on to it for a long long time. Great video, fantastic place to ride.
I have one in my garage and was thinking of selling it to get something newer. But I really love this bike. I have ridden it for years now, took it multiple times through the Alps... Your video made me fall in love with it again. I would feel lost without this bike. Thank you for preventing that mistake. ❤
I bought one in Roulette Green in 2009.Still got it now, with 50,000 miles on the clock(I also have a 2006 Speed Triple).Absolutely brilliant bike.Mine has Mivv Suono cans. They do tend to burn stators out(But not as bad as the Speed Triple which eats them ) but I always have a Gammatronix battery charge indicator fitted for peace of mind.If I knew then what I know now I would have bought the 'R' model as the suspension tends to go soggy and is non adjustable.I have done the recommended fix by fitting the rear shock off a Honda CBR 600 RR which just needs a few spacers for the linkage and some longer bolts.Anyway riding the Street Triple is always a joy...that engine is a masterpiece! It's a great bike for a sunny afternoon blast.
I’ve always wanted one since I read a review where the (female) rider did an all day ride where she was so at home she fell asleep! But I’ve never seen one as pretty as this one. The gold forks, cream tank and that gorgeous saddle are aristocratic and just draw attention to the matt black exhausts, frame and engine. I’m was in love before I even heard it!
I love this- you don’t forget a review like that!😆💁🏻♀️🏍 I agree 100% Tim; I’d build mine to look like this one. The off white tank and brown seat juuuuust give it a slightly bigger retro nod. And the standard chrome bug eyes and gold forks compliment it perfectly😍👌🏻
@@FreddieDobbs I was not sure of the bug eye lights - they always reminded me of Gen 1 GSX-R street fighter which was just initimidating for me 🤣😂 but I’m grateful for you pointing out they are ‘pure art’ - a much better way to look at it and I’m far less intimidated now 🥰🙏
probably the most thorough review of the gen 1 Street Triple. i agree, its a fantastic bike and for me its a lot more desirable than more modern iterations imo.I am loving mine 😃
I owned a 2009 Striple. I loved it for 8 years. It started seeping oil from the valve covers. It was a tempting bike. It brought out the demon in me. I loved the sound of the motor so much, I couldn't put it up with out hitting triple digits. The voltage regulator/rectifiers were recalled.
Morning Freddie After been in tenerife for a few days and spending time taking trips around the island i can see you love living here and riding your bike the roads are amazing (biker heaven) great video as aways Mally
I have a gen1 street triple R and love it , great review and also great place , los gigantes at the start , a place I have been to on many an occasion, hope to get back there soon , thanks
I've got a '08 street, and with a custommap on tuneecu in the dyno hit 112whp! I've had it for more than four years and I hope to never get tired to it's awesome power delivery. Bought it with 38k kms and now its rocking 76k ;)
The 1st gen street triple was my first bike done over 20k miles on her in 1.5 years , rode her in sun, sleet and snow loved every min of it , perfect little bike and watching this makes me want another
That’s the sunday morning fix sorted! 😀 Definitely a future classic in the making and still a lot of bike for the money! 1st Gen bug eyes 👀 were the best! Loving the music and back drops in this one guys. 👍🏻 Dan
Triumph triples are the best sounding bikes there is. I just sold a 02 Daytona 955 that I bought for 450 bucks because it needed some work, I repaired it and installed a low boost turbo on it and it was absolutely insane with the turbo. I kept it for four years but old injuries have caught up with me and I had to let it go. I plan on getting something like the street triple for that better riding position. When you talked about the gear changing I found the same little quirk with my Daytona. *First time view, you've got yourself a new subscriber, great video and review.
I owned a 2009 Street Triple in Black with gold forks for over 10 years! 5 years into that period it got nicked, and I replaced it with the exact same model (genuinely couldn't think of a better all rounder, didn't like the newer designs), kept the replacement another 5 years and it got nicked again! I've now replaced it with an MT10 - 🔥and I love it, but it is so OTT and this triple will always have a place ❤️ Great tribute to this bike mate 🙌
I own a later incarnation of this wonderful motorcycle..A 2014 model...( Wally eyes). I have changed the air filter to a K&N and have a Exan slip on exhaust, quick shifter plus a few 'bling' items. Its everything you say it is.... Light, handles really well, sounds glorious when giving it a 'bit o wellie' ...there is absolutely nothing I can say against this Bike..Greetings from España.
i had one of these a few years ago and it was the best bike i have ever owned.. a seamless extension of my body .. still want one again some day.. perhaps next year i will be able to
Like most bikes of this type...I would have to carry a milk crate to reach the ground..lol..I do love the dual headlamps...loved them on the Storm...another great video Monica!!...
Angelina Jolie drove this exact bike in a Movie!!. I bought this bike a month ago. Its absolutely beautiful, i got the 2009 (non-R) model but it has the golden fork, golden brakes and wheels everything else is Black with chrome accents and a slightly lowered barracuda steer (like the one in this video) and a black belly-pan🥰🤩
It really surprised me. I have never liked the overall looks of the "T_Triples", especially the double headlights. But this one turned out a real classy, beautiful bike. The chromed lights, cream-colored tank and "dark toffee" seat are a great combination. Great video, haven't seen your channel before. Enjoy the bike!
Great review, thank you. Your lean angle demo was particularly enlightening - I'm a similar build to you, and was amazed at how easily you moved the thing around. I've been riding mainly >1000cc bikes for the past eight years or so, and unless using the power they've left me a bit flat. I recently bought a Citroen C1 city car, and it's the most fun I've had on the road in a long while, purely because of how light it is. Light is more fun than power figures, hence my interest in the Street Triple.
Great Vlog Freddie, Just sold a classic Guzzi Convert and found a 2011 Street Triple 675 in Strontium yellow, which was not a standard colour with 30,000 miles. Awesome flickable bike, I am enjoying being out and about in the Cornish Countryside on it, and at 63 I thought it might be too much. But its a perfectly manageable and predictable bike, I love it. It's a keeper for me. Thanks for persuading me to find one.😍🏍
I bought mine new, 2009 black, amber tachometer. Loaded up I have toured the Massif Central mountains in France 3 times without any bothers. Other times fast n agile enough for a blast with mates. Until this video I had planned to sell mine, now I'm not 100% sure.
What is garbage to one can be beauty to another, I remember saying this to someone bad mouthing this bike when new.. I think, like you, this is heading to the list of classics. Nice review!
Excellent video review as always!! I have a '92 trident with the 900 triple engine. Couldn't ask for more out of a bike. I have thruxton after market silencers and the sound is as you say.. beautiful
Great souvenirs! My first motorcycle was a Street Triple first gen and it was awesome. After it I've had a Bonneville and since last I got back to Street Triple but with the latest gen. Awesome vidéo. Love it!
I owned it for about two years, heavily upgraded from the previous owner (a friend of mine). Super fun bike, quick around the corners, great acceleration. A bike that wants to be kept down and thrown in the corners, a little bit physical if you ride fast, but man, when you lean and turn, she stay there and let you feel confident about your riding. Had to swap it with a Tracer 900 because it’s not meant to ride in couple, the Tracer is fun and more powerful, but this one is just a blade in the asphalt.
I own a black 2008 street tripple 675 ... what a fantastic bike it is! Did some small modifications like put a golden chain onto it. smaller mirrors ( same as in the video) and I changed the exhausts from standard to MIVV carbon slip-ons ... Its a beauty !
Loved the review and the island is a dream. I recently bought a '08 street triple 675. It had to visit the shop due to stator and rectifier problem. I hope to get it soon. Loved the bike, sounds like a dream.
Top review to watch on a typically dull bank holiday Monday in UK! The bug eye headlights on these early 2000’s Triumphs are definitely iconic. I had a super 955i in Roulette Green which was so offensive and aggressive looking before I even started it especially with the belly pan & bikini fairing but the noise with a competion exhaust simply made it magnificent. Only sold it aS long rides at speed just left my head buzzing for an hour. Love your genuine enthusiasm for life in general and coffee stops in particular - keep em coming and also Tenerife\Los Gigantes a favourite for me.
2018 and I restarted riding. I did not know what I was bying really but it was a 2010 phantom black street triple with 16500km on the counter.... Since then it got to 39000km and I am still searching for a better bike to replace it with. I have driven tracers, GS'es, tigers , VFR's, indian FTR ...recently a s1000xr... but I always get the smile back, when I ride home with the little triple. It is just so nimble , so quick and always willing to go , a bit nervous maybe . Somehow , even when putting those newer bikes into dynamic mode, they do not react as fast / natural on the trottle response as my triple. Still it is linear and it never tricked me with sudden brutallity. What a bike. It has no traction control , no rider modes,no ABS, no electronic gismo's what so ever and bless it for that. It does not need them. It is a naked bike so no long runs at high speed on the highway, but this little bike stays perfectly stable and straight at over 180km/u and still it loves to do the twisties. And it sounds amazing. The rear suspension of the non R version isn't the best. I changed it with a honda cbr600RR schock and flux plates. I changed the headlights for black 5 3/4" LED projectors fitted in the original chrome housings and it brought the bike to 2022 lookswise with a lot more light and I got a sargent seat. And somehow I often get nice comments on the style of this 12 year old bike
I have a 2016 2nd gen triumph street triple 675 and it's simply the best motorcycle i ever had, complete, light as a feather, easy to steer and beautiful
Such a treat ~ I have owned this model and all your observations are spot on 😃 You corrected the power figures but you were spot on! The higher figure is at the crank but the rear wheel bhp is as you stated 94bhp 🙏🏼
Back in the early 1980’s I briefly owned a second hand T160 (1976) Triumph Trident, and there is something about the sound that comes from a 3 pot engine that is really special - to me anyway. Great video as always. Glad you are enjoying the weather in Tenerife, but you missed the classic vehicle run from Ipswich to Felixstowe today - a couple of beautiful Bonneville examples made the journey; sadly no Trident, but there was also an amazing 6 cylinder Honda CBX which was another bike I once owned and I got to chat with the owner about the (dubious) joys of balancing 6 carburettors.
Love this example , great condition. My only concern with this generation is the lack of ABS, and that's why I had in the past the 2013-2016 generation. Loved that one , and love the looks of this one as well
I was running out of motorcycle content, glad I found you. I really enjoy your production value and music choices. I find myself agreeing with just about everything you say.

Hi Freddie & Monika..great start to my Sunday, thanks! Entertaining with interesting facts and the fab scenery too..so well put together by Lady M… agree it’s a classic bike already… btw..you guys deserve recognition by the Tenerife tourist board!
Just watched this a second time and it shows that your production values are storming and you both have the likeability factor. Your Pan American review had me agreeing and looking at this and ADV bikes, which previously hadn't been interesting. Also more keen on the Bonneville than I ever was, so the power of influence is strong.
Own a 2010 675R and after riding a Honda Backbird and a Suzuki Hayabusa the Triumph was a bike i laughed on. It was pure fun all over the place. Great bike with its superb 3 cylinder engine.👍
If you shift to first while still slowing down it's very compliant. Sometimes it's a bit finnicky when standing still. I usually solve it by just pushing the bike forward a tiny bit. If traffic makes that unadvicable you can also let the clutch out a tiny bit, before you pull it in and try to shift again. You get the hang of it after a while, although mine is a gen 2. Great review 👌
Just found this video, great bike and stunning location! Its probably already been mentioned but a useful modification to the rather over engineered gear linkage is a TY80 gear lever mounted backwards,..its a game changer(soz!) and makes the gear selection much better and no false neutrals,. About £20 on Ebay,...Have done it on my 2006 Speedtriple !
Great vid folks 👌 I appreciate the real world review, you've obviously done your homework Freddie! you learn something new every day! great camera work from Monika as usual
Great review. My cousin had one of these from new, it was his third Triumph and the one he liked most. Really don't know why he sold it, he's got a 1975 Yamaha DT350 now! This bike was one of several which sounded the death knell for full-on sports bikes. As you said, it hit the sweet spot for looks, performance and usability. I've always gone for big lumpy engines (probably because I'm a big, lumpy bloke) so out of the two the Speed Triple would have been my choice. Jack Lilley Triumph would sometimes lend me one when they were servicing my 955 ST. I thought it was a blast, but obviously not a touring bike, so I stuck with the ST until it got nicked in north London!
What a beautiful bike. I think it looks better than the new ones. I have an old Bonnie from that era and I think that Triumph is trying to convert me from my Suzuki freakdom. It is the simplicity and economics that I love about motorcycling.

The Triple engine is music to my ears ❤️
That is incredible- I will remember this fact about the engines, thank you🙂🙌🏻
I bet that was a great evening- it’s such a great place for events and soaking in the culture at Hinckley
I've learned so much from this channel, the history and present status of most bike brands.
Thank you Sir.
Really glad you enjoyed it, Freeman🙂 I never knew what that whine was until reading a comment here two hours ago!
Hi,
thanks so very much for that video.
Of all the channels I'm subscribed....the sound quality and volume is the best of all.. thankyou
Love my 2013 Street Triple 675, buyed in 2021 with only 2.900 km on the clock.
Great vids @Freddie , greetings from germany 👏🏻😊
This video is the reason I got my gen1 this year and I am in love with it the sound then engine everything about the bike amazing the and if any was to watch this and then go ride one the will see where the passion for this bike comes from wonderful machine
You got that spot on, 1st gen street triple is quality. I love the idea of my bike being a future classic 🙌
Love the look of that Speed Triple Perfect to ride around Tenerife. So cool.
Hi Freddie and Monika, a great video in a great location. Kudos again to Monika for camera work from the pillion perch!
I love this- you don’t forget a review like that!😆💁🏻♀️🏍
I agree 100% Tim; I’d build mine to look like this one. The off white tank and brown seat juuuuust give it a slightly bigger retro nod. And the standard chrome bug eyes and gold forks compliment it perfectly😍👌🏻
@@FreddieDobbs I was not sure of the bug eye lights - they always reminded me of Gen 1 GSX-R street fighter which was just initimidating for me 🤣😂 but I’m grateful for you pointing out they are ‘pure art’ - a much better way to look at it and I’m far less intimidated now 🥰🙏
probably the most thorough review of the gen 1 Street Triple.
i agree, its a fantastic bike and for me its a lot more desirable than more modern iterations imo.I am loving mine
😃
I love the "whirrrrr" sound on my Street Triple. Makes me feel like I'm riding a futuristic hover-craft.
Morning Freddie
After been in tenerife for a few days and spending time taking trips around the island i can see you love living here and riding your bike the roads are amazing (biker heaven) great video as aways
Mally
Thanks Mally! It really is a dream- every day’s amazing here🙂🏔🏍🏝
Awesome video and awesome content can’t wait for the next video Thank’s Freddie and Monika
5 years without a bike ! i m actualy looking for one and i wase struguling and then i saw your video and i remembered . tomorrow i m buying one !
Gosh... what a transition. Last night i saw you on the Harley Livewire and today you're on a classic... Brilliant. Great value.
👍🏻 Dan
Thanks Dan, the weather, roads and scenery were perfect to make the most of it🙂🤘🏻
Triumph triples are the best sounding bikes there is.
I’ve got a 2020 ST RS, been on Harley’s all my life and triumph has impressed me so much. I liked my trident but I love my street triple! 🤘🍻
Just bought a 14 this winter and this video makes me so pumped to ride it when it's warm again. Also jealous of the round headlights.
Really glad you liked the video, Brian! Quick shifter- I’d be very interested to try that on a Street👌🏻 Hello in Spain🙂👋🏻🇪🇸
i had one of these a few years ago and it was the best bike i have ever owned.. a seamless extension of my body .. still want one again some day.. perhaps next year i will be able to
Like most bikes of this type...I would have to carry a milk crate to reach the ground..lol..I do love the dual headlamps...loved them on the Storm...another great video Monica!!...
Such a great video, enjoyed watching it so much. I am probably biased because I own a street triple since 2months.
As afore mentioned I'm learning about bikes more now than ever. Again the views and well spoken description keep my attention.
I have owned my 2010 Street triple R coming up on 2 years and truly enjoy every opportunity to ride it.
This is the best looking Street Triple.
I’ve just re-watched this video as I have a 675R. Freddie, I have to say you are a gifted presenter and do a great job reviewing bikes.
Great Vlog Freddie, Just sold a classic Guzzi Convert and found a 2011 Street Triple 675 in Strontium yellow, which
was not a standard colour with 30,000 miles.
Awesome flickable bike, I am enjoying being out and about in the Cornish Countryside on it, and at 63 I thought it might be too much. But its a perfectly manageable and predictable bike, I love it. It's a keeper for me. Thanks for persuading me to find one.😍🏍
My Orange ‘08 Speed Triple is so iconic. Great video!
I bought mine new, 2009 black, amber tachometer. Loaded up I have toured the Massif Central mountains in France 3 times without any bothers. Other times fast n agile enough for a blast with mates.
Until this video I had planned to sell mine, now I'm not 100% sure.
Fantastic Russ- and to have owned it from new makes it even more special👌🏻
It’s a sublime machine❤️🏍🙂
Great video buddy, loving these old bike reviews!
Fantastic note from that beauty. 👍🏻
Enjoy the long weekend guys.
Thanks very much, Ben! Have s great bank hol- I hope the weather’s good for you🙂☀️👌🏻
What is garbage to one can be beauty to another, I remember saying this to someone bad mouthing this bike when new..
Love it!
Just bought one, being delivered on Thursday. I can't wait. 2008 model, tidy example in White but has the single low can not the twin under seat cans.
Its a beauty !
i've got this tst generation one and i couldn't be more in love with my bike
One of my nephews has one of this and when I tried it I was surprised by its lightness and good ergonomics, I love the noise too
Love this example , great condition. My only concern with this generation is the lack of ABS, and that's why I had in the past the 2013-2016 generation. Loved that one , and love the looks of this one as well
I've had around 40 bikes in my life & one of my favourite is this model, they truly are special 👍
Every shot in this video is a work of art. Beautiful.
Nice one Freddie and Monika, triumph hit a home run with this bike...
I was running out of motorcycle content, glad I found you. I really enjoy your production value and music choices. I find myself agreeing with just about everything you say.
Hi, a magic bike, back to the basic thrill and joy of riding ,with a lot less weight and good manners . What a way to spend a day riding one of these around the Island . Another great video, thanks Freddie and Monika , take care in the sun .
It was the perfect day for it, and the low weight makes it such easy fun😃🤘🏻
Thank you and have a great bank hol!
@@FreddieDobbs Will do nearly finished painting the lounge , so a day off and hope the weather picks up as it is raining .
I putted down 22k miles on my '08 street triple, as my first sportbike and it has been my companion since. It will definitely bring the hooligan out of you!
Los Gigantes, Tenerife Island, perfect landscape and roads for this motocycle.
Best looking 675 I've seen.
Love this vid man. You guys nailed it. I have the 2010 speed triple. And feel the same about that compared even to some of the later models.
beautiful bike, the looks are so nice... i also like your channel a lot ( though i am not involved with motorbikes yet :P), thats some quality work... you've earned my sub
Gorgeous bike…all round stunning! Very jealous Freddie
You know what...? You just definitely made my mind about never ever selling mine^^! Thank you very much, I guess the bonnie-bobber will have to wait...
Hi Freddie & Monika..great start to my Sunday, thanks! Entertaining with interesting facts and the fab scenery too..so well put together by Lady M… agree it’s a classic bike already… btw..you guys deserve recognition by the Tenerife tourist board!
Thank you so much Alan!🙂
Just watched this a second time and it shows that your production values are storming and you both have the likeability factor. Your Pan American review had me agreeing and looking at this and ADV bikes, which previously hadn't been interesting. Also more keen on the Bonneville than I ever was, so the power of influence is strong.
Own a 2010 675R and after riding a Honda Backbird and a Suzuki Hayabusa the Triumph was a bike i laughed on. It was pure fun all over the place. Great bike with its superb 3 cylinder engine.👍
I own a 2013 Street Triple, 3.000 km only on the clock. Basically a new bike. Just love it.
Great review, I've had a 2010 R for 6 years. What you didn't mention was the incredible airbox howl from 9000rpm. More addictive than ...
