I didn’t even think about POF during the review. I remember looking at them back in 2019, but can’t remember the prices. They’d probably work just the same as the original. Glad you got something out of the video
Loctite those screws on the Midwest Handguard, they are the connection between the handguard and the metal c-clamp the bolt goes through that attached to the rifle.
@@RTarms I watch a lot of Hop and Brass facts and their antics make me both more interested in Night Vision and turned away from it.... However the hell that works LOL.
@@shockwave6213 I’d like to get into night vision eventually. After I get into suppressing weapons. Any recommendations on the basics of night vision? I’m not to over complicate things. If I get overwhelmed, I’ll zone out
@@RTarms I think Hop's videos on NODs and IR laser systems would be a bigger help to you than me. The only advice I think I could possibly give off the top of my head is to not cheap out (like, mega cheap out. There is good budget stuff) on NODs and IR but that's good advice for anything.
@@shockwave6213 it usually goes like this: I finally saved some money. Time to get into suppressors and nightvision! Oh look, a gun store… *walks out with new gun and/or ammo* DOUH I just need to control myself. I’ll check out those channels. Appreciate it partner!
I forgot to mention that in the video. I did that custom. Had a piece of pic rail, drilled a couple holes, two screws and nuts on the back, and done. Just have to watch out for the heat shield.
Thanks for the video and break down on the hand guards.
No problem. Glad it helped.

Thanks for the video and all the information. Currently running the cheaper AC wide guard with HK bipod until I can find an original or POF Wide boy!

Lls there he is!

Procrastination, partner. I’ll do it today for you lol
The screws holding the handguards tightly to the gun are necessary if you intend to run an IR laser and need it to hold zero.
That makes perfect sense. I’ve only messed with IR a handful of times, so I don’t know a lot about it.

Where can I get the wide handgaurd with the side mount rail?
