It's a blob. A supremely nice blob, but a blob nonetheless. I think they could have put a bit more emotion to the look of it without compromising the drag coefficient too much. I feel like a prius has more interesting lines than this.

When you make cars not even Mercedes fans like, the future of the brand is in question. I think this next few years will make car brands follow the trend of other bestselling cars or go bankrupt just like saab, chrysler, nokia, blackberry etc., now they are trying to find an original concept but they are clearly missing the point.

At this point, I think they would put an AMG badge on a Multipla if it had a good drag coefficient.
Charge port is literally in the most inconvenient spot physically possible, and the fact they couldn't just extend the boot lid down and make it flat-loading is kinda dumb.

what electric budged automakers should do is increase acceleration forfeiting top speed. On a budged car 150 top speed would be enough, betetr get quicker acceleration

it would make more sense than 200 kmh top speed like this car.
That’s... that’s already what almost every EV maker is doing. Ever notice how most EVs accelerate really quickly for their top speed, compared to ICE vehicles?
As a long term AMG owner, I'm very disappointed with this current EQ lineup. No one cares about drag coefficient if you are left with an ugly car, but at least this EQE is the least hideous of the bunch. We'll have to wait another few years for the MB design team to regain their senses and return to build elegant and muscular looking vehicles. Hyundai makes an EV that will go 250 miles and is shaped like a shoebox.

It’s all about drag efficiency. Mercedes is representing what kind of range they can get out of their Evs. I’m sure in the future they will care less about the drag and more about the design
