@Dom Tosco: I agree. Riding a OW without a helmet is basically playing Russian roulette. I couldn’t enjoy the video at 100%. I jumped for him a couple of times! That board is dangerous AF when something happens. I miss mine I used to have. Best money ever spent! Helmet please! I beg you! Great video! Congrats!

Yea that’s on point…I’m a big into skateboarding and never wore a helmet. When it comes to this I won’t go out on my onewheel without gear…especially in nyc of all places with these crazy drivers lol…
@@roastpotato7153 we've lost riders experienced and not. It's painful. Just trying to avoid it again. Our actions influence others. One lad we persuaded to get a helmet but sadly he died outside his house at slow speed before it arrived. He didn't think he needed one as he saw others without one too. His family have thanked various members of our community for raising helmet awareness. We've had many saved by them that is for sure

Are there laws pertaining to onewheels/ EUC's in NYC? I was kinda shocked yall didn't get harassed by all those cops early on in the vid. God knows I get told to get back on the grass/sidewalk

@@Z0mb13ta11ahase ah I’ve been but never wheeled there. Size and speed of a onewheel is pretty similar to a bicycle, do they tell the bikes to get in the sidewalk too? Or stand up scooters
@@JakeLeary I don't really see bikes anywhere but the bike trails along the river and the scooters are downtown and they tend to stay on the sidewalk from what I've seen. Different cultures I suppose.
