Received my Onewheel Pint X a few days ago and having been cruising around my area in the Bronx and falling since this is my very first time riding it. I smile every time I fall and get back up. Training so that I can ride on my Onewheel Pint X in the city with confidence and skill.
Glad you’re enjoying it! Although I hope you’re not falling in traffic. I moved out of the city recently but keep an eye out for the OneTrickWheel trick clinics if you’re lookin to boost your skills
I practice in the parks but slow my roll near the dogs lol. I wanted to get some fall jitters out of the way on grass. I just started riding Goofy after putting 50 miles on via Regular. Interestingly I noticed practicing Goofy made carving while riding Regular much easier, for me. The potholes in streets downtown where I'm at are not too forgiving.
Practice on grass if you can. Youlll advance faster and falls hurt less
Jake's the smoothest OW rider I've ever seen on TH-cam. Jeff's probably the other rider that come close to him. Glad Jake linked up with the FL crew in Sacramento. Now I can watch my fave OW riders in the same vids.

Do you guys ride this swervy off camera? If I'm getting somewhere, especially between boroughs, I'd be riding straight and pushing my top speed. Is it kinda for show here?

Why is he running so many red lights? Is this normal is the US?
Look more closely. Like at :44 seconds. The red light you see is for vehicular traffic. There is a separate green light active for the bike lane that he is in. It’s to his left.

I'm just going to tell you this. Posting videos of yourself riding a one-wheel without a helmet on is irresponsible. And that's the reason why I'm putting a down vote on this particular video and all the videos without helmets.

I'm just going to tell you this Donnie, running around with a name like Donnie is highly irresponsible 🤷..... also that's not jake not wearing a helmet, but even if it were, adults can make adult decisions. Same thing as people choosing not to wear a life vest on a boat. Despite how part of the country feels, YOU do not get to force your choices on anyone else. Good day mate
