I understand the cloudfoam being the 'low end' In terms of price, but honestly, every cloudfoam shoe I've owned has lasted a *really* long time and have been super comfy. Adidas makes quality shoes.
I've never tried boost and for me the cloudfoams (not this model though) has been the most comfortable shoe I've worn. I really want to try boost now!!
Cecilia G I've got shitloads of Nike and Jordan's got a cheap 40 buck pair of cloudfoam for work and had no problems at all. I might have to try some boost just to see how comfy they are.
i bought a pair of cloudfoam questar drives 2 days ago. they creased after the first wear, but it think that's understandable since im a big dude lmao. good thing is they're actually really comfortable, the midsole is really squishy compared to the other cloudfoam models, and the silhouette looks great, kinda like a budget NMD. will save up for boosts as a next cop since the boost hype has been slowly dying down
I have cloudfoam and ultraboost and here is what i found. Cloudfoam is super comfy compared to ultraboost because of over all cushioning wraping your feet. Excellent walking shoe. Ultraboost has energy return and is solely best for running. Walking long duration in Ultraboost gave me foot ache where as the cloudfoam did not give me any problems.
There are different cloudfoams, the new one has a VERY thick insole with 3 diffferent layers. Ita very soft and you can remove the insole. Then there is the old cloudfoams that has none removeble insole and then the old cloudfoam like you have with normal insole.
Stay away from cloudfoam, lol what?? How is it least comfortable? I haven't worn my ultraboost that much yet but it seems like the cushion works best under a strong load just as jumping, running. Just everyday use, I think cloudfoam is perfect. The cloudfoam ultimate is the best shoe with this soul.
Bought my cloudfoam in 2018. Used it in my internship duty in various hospitals, rehabs, gyms, and community volunteering. Used it almost every day where I have to sprint a lot and/or run. And now it's 2021, using it for my jogs and it still does it job for me. Still comfortable and in good condition. It's very durable in my experience. I'm sorry and sad to hear some people here had their pair of cloudfoams last just for weeks and/or find it prone to wear and tear easily.
I've been wearing steel toe boots for the past 8 years, trust me the cloud foam can be like a dream for someone like me. Just got a pair... such a relief
I have these three cushions, cloudfoam is just phylon(EVA) but lighter. There's also cloudfoam strobel board which adds softness and plushiness, kinda like memory foam. Bounce is bouncy, soft, a little firm and light. Boost is bouncy, kinda heavy, and very very soft/plush. My favourite though is Bounce. Not too firm and not too soft.
idk about those cloudfoam you're showing but mine are sooo comfortable. I love alphabounce as well. this video is pretty much only concerned with price point, some ppl can't get past the shallowness of saying they have an expensive shoe
Personally I think that the cloudfoam midsole really depends on the shoe model. In some of them it's really good cushion, something right between bounce and boost I'd say. I've used Cloudfoam Race shoes, Galaxy 5 and Cloudfoam AllCourt. In Races and Galaxys cloudfoam was much softer than in for example cushioning in Nike Downshifters but still nothing like boost or Nike React. Nevertheless it gave me more bounce than these really soft shoes. So If you can try some models, you definitely are able to choose great cloudfoam shoes for much less than any bounces or boosts.
@@obedtroyinoc5049 Maybe just stay away from stuff that is marketed as high-cushiony. Also, a good idea may be alternating between two distinct pairs so that the muscles in your feet aren't being used/neglected in the same way all the time. If you ask 10 people on the internet on that subject you will get 10 different opinions. Just make sure whatever you pick feels comfortable on your feet.
I have some cloudfoam running shoes, not bad for running, and some Yeezy boosts. For comfyness the yeezys by far but the cloudfoam are probably the best pair of running shoes I've had so far, though I'm probably going to change my mind when I get some pureboosts for running
I had bounce and just bought a cloud foam. Bounce is not as comfy as cloudfoam but it gave me the "bounce" everytime i run/brisk walk. Cloud foam is great for everyday walking as the insole is very "foamy ".
Honestly, cloudfoam is not as bad as you said. I have the cloudfoam lite racer, and wore them as a daily beater (i am a tour guide, i could be on my feet for 7 - 8 hrs a day) and my feet feels good. Recently took the shoe on my trip to malaysia, and i wore them almost the entire 3 days, walking and traveling, and i could definitely feel the cushion and it is super comfy and stable. And i get it, it's not as comfy as boost and bounce, but the way you describe it, sounds like you said they were horrible.

The firmness and responsiveness outperforms the boost in energy return and gives that ‘bounce’ in your stride when you run, having tested both shoes for months thats the conclusion ive come to. Not sure if anyone else agrees with me. The ultraboost is more for long distance use imo, the comfort keeps you going on and on, but speed may be hindered

I own a multiple pairs of sneakers with boost and bounce. For wearing the sneakers all day I prefer bounce. Bounce is a more sturdy cushion while boost is very soft and squishy. It’s all personal preference but I feel these bounce is more comfortable.
Dakota Shane his rap and life events were very relevant for the time. I suppose his hype is passed down from last generation but the talent is 100% there
I've had pureboost, alphabounce, and just recently got a cheap pair of cloudfoam. Cloudfoam is definitely not an inferior experience. It's made more for everyday rather than running, and I think that's where it shines even over my boost. Being so lightweight makes it sorta like wearing slippers sometimes, and unlike boost or bounce you don't really need any responsiveness in a walking shoe (not that cloudfoam has none). I love my $50 fluidstreet (cloudfoam) just as much as my boost and bounce
Cloud foam was the best feeling run I’ve ever had, very light and comfortable however it wore out a lot faster than the boost for me. After a short time I felt like I was running barefoot so the cheap cost was made up for by having to repurchase it after only a few weeks of running. I love my boost too... but I think I’d rather just keep replacing my clouds
I LOVE the comfort of the boost. But i have had a problem where my boost shoes squeak to high heavens. They are SO loud that they're almost embarrassing to wear.
Hes Kicks cloadfoam groove is a model of shoe with the memory foam/cloadfoam combo. Comfiest shoe I own atm, I have a pair of pureboost 2017 otw though so I look forward to comparing. I wear the grooves for work and got them for only $45 and they’re insanely comfortable, so easy to wear all day and while walking around in. I suggest you atleast try a pair on, you will be very surprised for $45-60.
Wow , I didn't think that you would be that disappointed with the cloud foam shoe's. I have a pair of Adidas Ultimashow that I belive has cloud foam & I love them. They're super light weight & when they are broken in the cloud foam molds to the shape of your foot. I walk my dog's in them & also play touch football on the black top at the local elementary school. I'm 5'8" about 185lbs & I like how supportive /firm the feeling is for such a light weight shoe. I haven't tried the boost yet but from the way you're talking about it the shoes must be incredible.
Cloudfoams are popular in parkour/free running because they are hard enough to absorb big impact, unlike boost which squishes with every step. if cloudfoam squished as much as boost, it wouldnt absorb nearly as much impact as it does. bounce is great too, and the one i fuck the most with for training. they are just right
definetely, anything more athletic than a jog in them and they will come off, the fit is not secure at all, that makes them comfy as fuck but not good for sports
fogaco Vitor that doesn't make any sense. If you land hard and the foam doesn't give/squish then it didn't absorb any of the impact. Your knees did. The reason why Boost squishes like it does is because it absorbs the impact you give it then bounces right back into shape to give you an extra bounce in your step.
fogaco Vitor clouds are probably more popular in parkour because it's just straight up response. No give or bounce to it, it just lets you do what you wanna do right away, and that's what you need in parkour. Not because of the impact protection because Boost has the most impact protection of any shoe today, probably only Lunarlon comes close
I have both as well, and I'd say Boost is perfect for saving your knees while running long and very long distances with very few moments when sudden acceleration might be needed. So Boost is better for paced forward movement. Bounce offers more response and stability, so running shorter distances with more acceleration is better in Bounce. Boost to my mind is totally not fit for activities other than running (even walking casually sometimes feels not too comfortable, because your feet basically sink in the shoes), Bounce can be used in various training sessions, like cross-fit or other.
@@kevin_co5560 nah i own ubs nmd pods pbs and cloudfoam racer. Cloudfoam si comfortable af too. The shoe materials with boost is just more premium and ofcourse it has boost which is comfy too
For me Alphabounce all the way. I wear them for traveling and my feet doesn't feel tired at all. Also I don't have to worry about making it dirty like the Boost
I use Xeno alphabounces for my baseball and weightlifting workouts they work great. Ultraboosts seem to flimsy in the upper if you need more of a secure upper for quick movement I'd recommend the alphabounces. Boosts are always gonna be the most comfortable tho.
I bought a pair of Ultraboost 3.0 2 years ago and absolutely had the best run of my life. Since then I bought another pair as the outsoles run out pretty quick if you're a regular runner.
Boost is really cushiony, buuut after 1 hour of casual walking on those shoes my feet feel really sore. Long time ago i read that softer shoes might give you plantar fasciitis and now im thinking it might be true.
The cloud foam in mine IS "super squishy" if I didn't watch this video I would say alpha bounce felt the cheapest, very hard and rubbery. Cloud is very comfortable, boost is even better, has a feel like cloud but springy which make a very good difference. Its like cloud is a half inflated tire and boost is properly inflated tire. I'd recommend boost with prime-knit, it's unbelievable the comfort
I don't know anything about shoes but I bought the cloudfoam one just because I don't play any sports and because it said cloud and foam so I I thought they wee comfy when I wore them so I bought them right now I wear them as everyday shoes
I've actually own a pair of cloudfoam shoes(adidas madoru) as well as the alphabounces, and in my opinion, the cloudfoam was actually a little bit softer.
Bounce might seem pretty stiff and firm but trust me fam they're really great for long term use. I can be walking around downtown all day in them and not feel any pain in my feet. I dont know why it works this way since Boost is supposed to be the ultimate cushioning system but honestly I prefer Bounce over Boost
I can't really agree because i wear cloudfoam on daily base and i can't get bored and tired of it they are soooooo comfy but it's your experience and i won't judge it
I just got some adidas Questar Ride shoes with Cloudfoam and they are vastly more comfortable than past shoes i have had, including some Nike and adidas and others, so I think its just relative comfort. I love the Cloudfoam!
I have both the ultra boost and the cloud foam, and tbh, for just life style, they are quite similar but I think the reason for the ultra boosts higher price is because of how much better it is for running compared to the cloudfoam.
I have the Adidas cloudfoam racer TR there comfy after a lot of use they feel like a hard slab of foam the ultra boost is to comfy the bounce is great it's not to comfy and your legs don't get tired
Just bought a pair of Cloudfoam Ultimate Bball shoes, and they are the most comfortable shoes i've owned. I've never tried "bounce" nor "boost" but plan to soon.
Just try to go to the U.S., buy like 8 pairs and then resell in India, my relatives get so hyped when we send them alpha bounces and they get so happy.
True they have perfect balance in pricing, cushioning n support (firmness). I love them. I have stopped looking at other brands which are mostly overhyped to boost their sales.
Alphabounce has a layer of plastic on the side ,covering the actual foam. Which is to hide the wrinkles produced by the foam after long time use. Almost every running shoes produce wrinkles on its foam and it looks nasty, the alphabounce covers it up .
Dmitriy Dillon ! Then you’ve never had boost. I have all three, boost is so much more comfortable then cloud. Get ultraboost n you’ll see why they are so much better then cloud.
I don't have the money to invest into boosts yet but I have worn them and I straight love them Currently repping cloudfoam though Pearsonally fine for standing and walking during long periods
Bought my 15 yr old son the Boost. Hes an avid runner. Hes tried several different trainers from adidas, under armour and nike for running. He says the boost are by far the best.
I have one pair of cloudfoam adidas, they were really comfortable first few months but they worn out very quickly, I also have a pair of ultraboosts and they are very comfortable but not as amazing as everyone seems to claim
Boost is amazing I have the nmd r1 and is so comfortable, people hate on them but they are just perfect. The boost never gets scratched, very easy to clean, you just have to be willing to do it. And the upper is made to last forever. Boost is truly the best shoe tech ever

Stormalis 8769 u can’t adidas don’t sell them they only give it to special people or certain people and that boost ball looked fake
Christian Nunnery, oh. Well thanks tho😕👍🏼
Christian Nunnery stfu bruh they sell em on ebay
Cloudfoam is a great material for running. Plus if you run a lot like myself the shoes are nice to replace. You can find these at Kohl's for 40 bucks.
I absolutely love my cloudfoams, then again I've never tried on bounce or boost
Adidas Galaxy 3 is comfortable af. Hes Kickz , I hope you make reviews on Adidas NEO and Cloudfoams , they are great and cheaper
I have all three bounce was best
Famous Magic Pinecone Public yurrrrrrr
I really like your channel man, keep making sick videos!
Alex yeah. I have alphabounce, it's better than my boost one or Nike air😂
I can't really agree because i wear cloudfoam on daily base and i can't get bored and tired of it they are soooooo comfy but it's your experience and i won't judge it
(Spoiler) cloutfoam is the best
Border Jumper (spoiler) u just broke
Haydn Moses you can have money and like cloud foam. Big whoop
@@b1g_permm524 TRUE
Are you joking cloud foam has nothing on boost
@@jackleason55 who needs Boost?
I just got some adidas Questar Ride shoes with Cloudfoam and they are vastly more comfortable than past shoes i have had, including some Nike and adidas and others, so I think its just relative comfort. I love the Cloudfoam!
What about tubular?
SoltyS they have bounce soles they just have a distinct design. Like the nmd and boost.
Ngoc Dung Doan oh... Thx :)
SoltyS no, its not bounce. Its just normal hard ass e.v.a in a shape that shouldn't be on a shoe
I was wondering too as my Tubular X Knit are super comfy, second only to my Stan Smith boost.
I have both the ultra boost and the cloud foam, and tbh, for just life style, they are quite similar but I think the reason for the ultra boosts higher price is because of how much better it is for running compared to the cloudfoam.
Cloudfoam is good. U just need to buy a proper pair. Try the cloudfoam ultimate.
Always wondered what were the differences from a consumer standpoint, and you just hit the mark. Thx!!
Cloudfoam on my feet rn 💰💰
Daniel Aguilar cloudfoam or CLOUTfoam for the flex
Chris DeJesus Hell yeah on that clout gang shii. Cloud the most comfortable tho ☁️☁️
Boost on mine bro lol
Daniel Aguilar hell nah get a pair of Ultraboosts
Daniel Aguilar me to
cloudfoam was comfortable for the price, if you just want a beater for everyday task.. but boost is definetely a whole different level..
So basically your just bias towards boost
I have the Adidas cloudfoam racer TR there comfy after a lot of use they feel like a hard slab of foam the ultra boost is to comfy the bounce is great it's not to comfy and your legs don't get tired
where do you even get a boost ball?
You make it from ocean trash
Just bought a pair of Cloudfoam Ultimate Bball shoes, and they are the most comfortable shoes i've owned. I've never tried "bounce" nor "boost" but plan to soon.
bro i live in india and i don't hv d money to buy any of these :( bcuz d price goes up like crazy it sells for 312.200 us $ here in india
Just try to go to the U.S., buy like 8 pairs and then resell in India, my relatives get so hyped when we send them alpha bounces and they get so happy.
bro tax is like too much
54 man
Get a replica then...
Haha
Gaming Rex ya it costs 18000 that is more than 300 dollars here in india ....😠
I still have them......not sure the model but they're Brooks runners. So much cushion but also has metal bar that keeps them sturdy.
i got the Adidas crazy explosive
XBOXtwistZZZ he was talking about the intro, fucktard
What about ubounce DNA
While I agree that cloudfoam isnt as good as boost. Cloudfoam is amazingly comfortable for the price.
Almost every running shoes produce wrinkles on its foam and it looks nasty, the alphabounce covers it up .
ultra boost core black
i have a different model of cloudfoam, got a fabric make, really comfortable, i think they've changed it possibly
Cloud is good for price
Boost is good for style and hype
And the other one is irrelevant
Jk tho
Ultra boost are more comfy obviously but the alpha bounce are the flyest on your feet. I got both
alphabounce is really underrated IMO. great shoe for the price
Clouds are comfy in my opinion and boost is overpriced it’s not that good
Dmitriy Dillon ! Then you’ve never had boost. I have all three, boost is so much more comfortable then cloud. Get ultraboost n you’ll see why they are so much better then cloud.
Meme Triangle ultraboost is overrated shit, get over it
Martin Bruštík lol I don’t think it’s overrated. I just think it’s the must comfy to work out in. But not be all day in.
LeBron 1's is what I got
I own all three, the cloud foam of the most comfortable that first few wairs, but boost stays comfortable longer...
TBH those $60 Adidas looked pretty damn clean lol. Would be 🔥if it had Ultraboost
Dakota Shane they kinda look like pure boost
you mean if it had boost? N then it’d be an ultra boost.
The slides have Cloudfoam Plus, which is different from the standard Cloudfoam. I don't think Adidas incorporated Cloudfoam Plus with their shoes yet.
why did you even make this video? we all know the answer...
Steven Romero basically. I clicked knowing this was another boost infomercial.
Bounce obviously
Cloud foam duh
I have one pair of cloudfoam adidas, they were really comfortable first few months but they worn out very quickly, I also have a pair of ultraboosts and they are very comfortable but not as amazing as everyone seems to claim
Depends on the shoe. Some cloudfoam very soft some hard. Some boots are hard like in D Rose 6s
Please try the Adidas FluidCloud model. More cushiony than UB for sure.
interesting ill have to check it out
Which shoe is better for court games like badmintion ? Cloudfoam or bounce
Can any badmintion player guide me ?
To be honest I think cloud foam is softer than bounce cause I have the alphabounce and the questar tnd/cloud foam
What you got wrong is like boost, not all cloud foam is used the same. Some cloadfoam sneakers feel as good as your flip flops, while some is blah
Cloudfoam and bounce are EVA, rubbers are denser and heavier than EVA
I have nmds and the boost on them is AMAZING
boost on ultraboost or yeezy are even more amazing, it is noticeably bouncier than the boost on nmd.
Boost is amazing I have the nmd r1 and is so comfortable, people hate on them but they are just perfect. The boost never gets scratched, very easy to clean, you just have to be willing to do it. And the upper is made to last forever. Boost is truly the best shoe tech ever
Thanks for informative vids like these, make more of 'em.
What is that Alpha Bounce Colourway?
