Damn! Nope! Don’t trust any clamp! I know the amount of vibration that my bike gives. I attach mine to the sissy bar, wrap a bungie around the selfie stick and for other shots, I keep a bag of zip ties. LoL I can’t afford to keep buying new cameras… 😂 Great advice bro🤙🏼
I think the new motorcycle mount and the wrench they provide are the difference makers. My mount doesn't move AT ALL after I use that wrench. As you demonstrated, what most would think was "tight" wasn't really tight after you saw how much tighter it got. Great product! Great Channel!
Thanks for being the one to experiment and find the limits for us! Hehe. Tbh I’m always trying to find the best compromise between an interesting angle that makes all the additional hours reframing, exporting, syncing, and editing worth it, on one hand, and safety and convenience starting and stopping the camera on the other. Definitely gives me some ideas to work with.
You certainly get some cool angles. I've got the GoPro 360Max and love it. I get some cool angles from my bike too. Insta now has 3 different motorcycle bundles which is the free one by using your link? Thanks for the video mate
Have you asked Insta360 if all those cameras are repairable? It seems like they all sort of work; what’s most damaged is the lens, which should be repairable
Maybe use a safety lanyard against the direction of the way the pole move if it come loose. Gravity always go towards the ground. They should make a mountable crash guard like a football helmet face mask but 360.
If I had Insta throwing cameras at me free of charge I wouldn’t be bothered about destroying them either. However like everyone else I have to pay for my cameras and therefore I look after them. I’ve crashed my Enduro bikes numerous times and yet I’ve never smashed a camera up, I wonder why that is?
@@MotoFeelz Naturally I am a legend that goes without saying, however no, it’s because I look after my gear knowing I’ll have to pay for a replacement. 👍
@@701Adventures Even with the gear that I pay for, I tend to be quite rough. I take a lot of care storing, cleaning, and transporting my gear but when it comes time for actual use, I subject my stuff to quite a lot haha! Always been that way. 😅
It's a shame that more and more people promote this cameras but they don't mention the major fiability flaws that these camera have. The forums are full of people (including me) with this kind of cameras that get error messages like "Card recording speed too slow" (but it worked fine for a year and a half) or camera not being able to be detected by iPhone all of a sudden (tested other camera and it works fine, the phone is not the problem). I took great care of my camera and did not even film with it underwater once, but unfortunately I got these two problems after the camera was out of warranty period and with the prices they mention on their website for changing the mainboard it's not worth it, making my camera useless. I chose insta360 over GoPro only for the powerful app and mobile editing features but since the camera can't be connected to the phone no more... Unfortunately another problem is that insta360 customer support in Europe is basically inexistent because they did not even bother to respond. Such a shame...
I'm sorry to hear about all your technical difficulties and hardship trying to get the support you need. Make sure your firmware is all up to date across all your devices and use the best and fastest Micro SD cards. Hmm.. I'm still able to use my X3s with no issue.
I have destroyed 3 so far, but when attaching it to something that you will ride, do NOT put it on something round bar, it will always fall, its standard physics... I just attached it to something on the side, where it couldnt slide and its worked great.
It was definitely user error on my behalf. I’m sure any camera dragged along the road would suffer the same. The lens guards and screen protector would have saved 4/5 of the incidents shown. Not so much Ol Sparky .. not with half the body ground away haha
Fair video for all the idiots out there, do wonder sometimes how come you guys get all these cameras for free. Fair point in the end, thank you for the "how not to"!
Most of your problems come out of tilt points which is easily solved by double point mounting, using common sense and physics knowledge would prevent all of those accidents.
Dude I'm over here with a pin and paper making notes! lol Thanks for destroying your cameras so we don't have to.
Haha awesome. Glad to be of assistance!
Adding a double-headed clamp would solve your problem. You can fully extend the stick securely using 2 clamps.
Good video. Just going to add, I use a second arm. Not only helps with stabilization, but help stop things from getting away from you!

Sounds like you've got a chopper! I've always wanted one!
Great tip re: fitting the mounts to a vertical surface... interesting.

Glad to be of service bro!
When the stick is fully extended, should one go for a 2nd clamp for support? Or is it sufficient if the 1st clamp is tightly fastened?
That's too bad dude, those are some sick angles. I definitely want to try some with my osmo action 4 but worried about excessive vibrations
Nice and funny video. Thanks for making!
Haha, you're welcome!
Nice looking jersey mate! 😍
Performs and feels as good as it looks. Great brand, check 'em out sometime! 😉

The free one that you get using my affiliate link is the "Motorcycle Kit - Standard (Upgrade)" currently valued at $57.99 USD.
Thank you for this video. Very informative.
You're most welcome!

The repair costs atleast 70% of the new camera and atleast 3-4 weeks minimum
No, I have not. If they want them back, they can have them though!
Maybe use a safety lanyard against the direction of the way the pole move if it come loose. Gravity always go towards the ground. They should make a mountable crash guard like a football helmet face mask but 360.
I've seen someone present lens protectors for these. I was sure you'd present those too, quite surprised I was wrong. 😅
I just like the footage without the protectors on a bit more. It's a personal preference that is very risky, yes.
Love from India ❤
And make sure those ball joints are tight too otherwise it won't matter which orientation the bar it's mounted to is.
hey man @motofeelz ! sick videos! may I ask what tyres do you got on the triumph? i saw you leaning the bike pretty much, so im interested!

This is how you learn.
At least you got the video data to show up. Otherwise, you'd just be standing there talking.
I try my best to entertain my viewers. 😆
@MotoFeelz I came for the T7 camping, and I stayed for the morning tent farting.
it's not users fault it's design fault. INSTA should re design the lens replaceable.

dear Insta360, please also send me 5 to 6 cameras to be tested underwater...please also include six diving case...😅
This is why I won't buy these cameras.... they advertise these selfie sticks and mounts as being good, and they can't even hold a 200G camera
They're good, it's just up to us to use them right.
give me all off this 😂😂

This video is made for idiots, by an idiot. And I'm really fortunate to be a global ambassador for Insta360!
2 mounting point. Basic engineering here folk. 2 clamps to your selfie stick!
Damn bruh 😪🗿🥲passing through life journey memories
Some schoolboy errors, however I am sure most of us would do the same if we did not see this video, thank you
Forever a schoolboi.
