Why is it so hard to make a change? - Parashat Balak - Rabbi Alon Anava

  • In this week's Parasha we are introduced to a unique character. On one side the Torah introduces this individual as a very high spiritual man with great connection to G-d. But in the other hand we see he is evil, lowly and does not obey G-d. What is the Torah trying to teach us? Find out why the Torah is focusing so much on Bilam and the deep message we can take from it!

I love how he can relate the Torah to anyone! I never saw the connection of Balaam and us individually. Very convicting. How can we praise and know the Most High then behave so sinfully. I love the donkey explanation. The best one I’ve ever heard. The 3 feasts! Why? Character refinements. Unity, humble and pushing away lust and desire. Great study and message! Thank you! Hashem bless you, family and staff.

My friend always tells me lashon hora about a Rabbi and his wife that I love. The most disgusting sins that they supposedly have done, I have come to the realization there is one sinning here and it isn't the Rabbi and his wife.

    • @user-pd7il3xz5j

Maybe you can tell your friend that you really care about her and you care about yourself and the not appropriate conversation is hurting both of your neshamot and you'd like to talk about other things, not about people. Hatzlacha.

bilam is a bitter Job. job was tested, so should everbody else. see how separated from Hashem his reincarnations become , from talking directly with, to hearing hashem s thoughts, to disconnect of hashem when he was yethro, unless you choose the version he converted. parashat must be called Balak king moav, all bout Lot to King David. is nt that the point of your titled video?
