Darkness makes the light more visable.........so them that darken try to surround, Hashem knows His. They will show His light, even so maybe hard but G-d knows we do this as we are to in His strength.

It is a self fulfilling thing they choose with greed in material. The curse in sake of curse is subject to "soul".....soul with Hashem will submit to correction, but curse for self curses oneself further if not guided by G-d. Therefore the physical material is ultimate curse to oneself in purpose of cursing another to profit oneself in unrighteous manner. The unrighteousness a curse in itself. Hashem must then allow someone to curse themselves for thinking that they have power to curse in unrighteousness?
I feel likewise with the names: Damon and Damian. My understanding, they're demons, and so those names make me uncomfortable 😈
