Honestly, the Hetalia fandom made me cry harder and more often than any sad anime that made me cey before, including Clannad, Anohana and Elfen Lied You have no freakin idea how many sad *canon* things there is in this fandom.
Eileen Every time someone says Benelux in combination with revolutions I start crying like a little child.I know it isn't canon in the series, (I'm still waiting for a episode on it) but it's historical, and historical stuff really hurt me in combination with Hetalia.
Christoph Beilschmidst I can see why. He's been through a lot of shit as a country and just fell apart after trying so hard. Thank god he didn't properly fade away like HRE T_T
Christoph Beilschmidst Well I also cried over Russia too.. he's so misunderstood and always refered as a serial killy without any sentiments.. But I agree with you...That makes me just so sad when I see fanarts of Prussia with the skin on the bones, like omg.. Plus, he is one of my favourite.. It really hurts ;w;
Plz stop mentioning wolf children, i watched it yesterday and everytime i see that scene i just break down. Also I cried at the pokémon, in this video and when it was on TV 😭😭😭😭
As much as I love naruto (I even named myself after him), the only point that made me cry was in chapter 700. If you read that chapter, you know what I mean.
I teared at almost every death, even Itachi's after learning the truth of why he slaughtered his clan. Jiraiya's was sad too, but Minato's and Kushina's gets me the most every time.
Not a single Tear. Like a Rock. Cause I have/had no emotional attachment to these characters *cough* with Exception to: 6 and 2. The one anime that truly made me shed man tears was the death of Ace in One Piece
I cried at death note when L was out side in the rain and just burst into tears when he said: SPOILER!!! "The bells are oddly loud today." And he knew he was going to die. Then two minutes later he dries lights feet for him and says "it'll be lonely won't it? You and I will be parting ways soon." When he dies his last moment was knowing that light was kira by seeing a smile spread across lights face as he layer in lights arms dying it's sad cuz he said: "It'd be a shame if you was kira because I believe you are the first friend I have ever had" earlier on in the anime. I CRIED SO MUCH!!!
Naruto has alot of scenes that make me cry, honestly knowing what's going to happen doesn't stop the tears. Knowing that kushina was going to die due to obito's interference by removing kurama, and that minato could have survived did make me cry, also edo minato telling naruto "happy birthday" for the first time in 17-18 years (I think that's what he said) brought those damn tears back
Top 10 scenes that made ME cry (they don't actually have an order but I just put down the things that made me blubber like a little baby 10:The death of William Zeppeli(from JoJo's bizarre adventure) 9:The death of Ceaser Zeppeli (from JoJo's bizarre adventure) 8:The death of Avdol (from Jojo's bizarre adventure) 7:The death of Iggy (from JoJo's bizarre adventure) 6:The death of Johnathan Joestar (from JoJo's bizarre adventure) 5:The death of the going Merry (from one piece) 4: Midoriya sad backstory (from Boku no hero academia) 3:All might telling Midoriya he can become a hero (from Boku no hero academia) 2: The death of Kakyoin (from JoJo's bizarre adventure) 1: The death of Bon clay(from one piece)
I have to say that the saddest scene in FMAB for me is when they tried to bring back their mom. When Ed wakes up, crawls to the armor and all the while saying to anyone listening that they can't have his little brother because he's all that Ed has left. That part leaves me in tears EVERY FRICKING TIME.
I didnt either I only shed a spec of tea for Spoiler Alert! OOWIIIOOOWIIOOWI Sachi's death in sao but I was holding it back so hard and if I didnt I would have my own pool
Anime has become so sad these days especially Fairytai[ and everytime i watch Fairytail OVER AND OVER again EVERYTIME Erza says good bye to her friends i'm in a state of depression and can't get out of it]
I highly recommend you watch "Anohana: the flower we saw that day" If you honestly thought you knew sadness, I'm telling you that you have no clue what sad is until you see that anime. I can't even watch the first episode anymore it's so fucking sad to me. On par if not sadder than Shigatsu wa kimi.
+Lillian Jones How is it sexist? He said he was not ashamed to say that he cried, or are you mad because he said he was male? If you got butthurt over a male saying they cried then who is the real sexist one?
+landmine121 well, its like discrimination against women like he's saying that even though he is a guy, he cried which would mean SEXISM bc what he said would just add up to that "only women cry"
+Lillian Jones It wouldn't be sexist if society allowed men to cry. By stating he was a man he put more emphasis on the emotions he felt. Maybe if society allowed men to express emotion you wouldn't be calling sexism on a stupid post.
Omg you had me scared at number 1 I thought it was the dogs death from Elfen Lied cause the movies you mentioned had dogs die. Thank God I didn't want to see or talk about that ever again.
Elfen Lied is by far the saddest, emotionally moving anime I've ever seen... (I've seen pretty much every sad thing out there like, Clannad, Angel Beats, Akame Ga kill, and many more, including sad movies that aren't anime.)That anime has a special place in my heart. I will never forget it...
There were two scenes in angel beats that made me cry, neither of them involved Otonashi or 'Tenshi' The two leads of DGM, the first for being how we learn how to pass on, the other an emotional goodbye ßilver Spoon and FMA were both created by the same author. Is it any wonder why those two series are emotionally powerful?
Never watch A Dog's Purpose. *Spoiler Alert* The dog dies again and again and is reincarnated into another dog each time. Its still so sad when it dies though. The ending is a happy one, but still.
Štěpánka Běhounková Ikr? Like, seriously, there was NO reason for him to do this! "Ohhh I raised him to be slaughtered normal like the others. So he has to die and get eaten! Sounds legit, doesnt it?" Like, wtf?
+Chrome Ramim Omg Clannad was the very first anime I saw and Holy Jesus it made me cry for so long I would not stop. When Fuko died well went to heaven or whatever oml I just cried for like an hour.
Chrono Crusade was one of the first Anime I've ever watched, and I watched it when I was 12. I remember bawling my eyes out when I first watched this scene, and after re-watching the show recently, I can tell you I /STILL/ get teary-eyed when I watch the final episode It was absolutely heartbreaking watching this scene, and even more so when the Order finally finds them, only to see that they've died. ESPECIALLY when Azumaria, who saw the two of them as the closest thing to a loving family she'd ever really had, breaks down and sees visions of the life the two shared together in that little cabin. I've seen a good chunk of the shows on this list, as well as more with scenes that were not covered here, and I don't disparage any of the rankings on here, but for me, nothing hit me harder than Rosette and Chrono's deaths
Anyone actually started crying during some points in this video because I did. If I had to choose some of the scenes in Anime that made me cry, they would be Elfen Lied when Nana gets put to sleep and when the puppy gets bludgeoned to death, Dragon Ball Z when Piccolo dies after protecting Kid Gohan, it's more emotional when you listen to the original Japanese OST playing over it and the sacrifice of Majin Vegeta especially after he hugs Trunks for the first time. But most of the entries in this video did bring tears to my eyes watching this, I actually wanna watch Wolf Children mainly because it has wolves, I love wolves. I actually cried at 13 when I first saw the Pokémon movie, poor Ash getting turned to "stone"
There have been several moments in anime where I've cried/bawled my eyes out. A few on the list did hit me, while others I haven't either seen yet to feel the impact, or never had an attachment to in the first place to care enough (here's looking at you, Ash). Here are a few off my personal list: 1. Some animal torture scenes and the final scenes with Ai Enma--her past, and sacrifice--of both series one and two of Jigoku Shoujo. 2. Scenes listed from FMA:B. 3. A couple times during Monster, especially during one particularly poignant character death. 3. Koe No Katachi, A Silent Voice. Let's just say I relate a bit too much to the characters' struggles in this movie... 4. I'm sure there have been a few instances during some Studio Ghibli films. One from And Then There Was Marnie hit me especially hard towards the end. And probably more I can't think of right now. Also...my birthday's also on April 16th! Who'd have thunk it we'd have the same birthdates?
To steal a joke from Robyn: Did you guys know Madoka Magica has a lot of sad moments? Honestly, it's so hard to choose, but if I had to choose, it would two scenes, that parallel each other beautifully and sadly Sayaka's transformation into a witch, and Kyoko's sacrifice get me every single time I recently watched the show with my siblings, and I admitted to them that I can never finish episode 9. We watched the episode, the whole episode And I cried. Even though Sayaka and Kyousuke were honorable mentions on your top 10 tragic romances in anime, I would have put Sayaka and Kyoko there. I know there is some debate as to wether or not they were a couple, but to me it was clear. I mean that moment with the smoke, not only is Kyoko hugging Sayaka, but afterwards it forms a heart. And thinking of them as a couple makes it sadder. These two girls, started as enemies and became lovers, only for one to fall into despair and basically kill herself, but the other sacrifices herself to save the girl she loves, knowing full well it probably won't work I mean.... That's.... That's just devastating! Those moments get me every time, and every time I watch the show those moments make me cry. Honorable mention to the ending of the show Also angel beats... The whole show
What about in Sword Art Online, The end of a world. I cried so much watching that episode. First watching Asuna "die" to save Kirito and then having them peacefully sit together watching all of Aincrad fall apart, and the finding out that Kirito woke up. :'') I love SAO
+Sage Buice This is a personal list of scenes that made me cry and I can definitely say nothing in SAO made me cry because I hated that show from beginning to end.
+The Reptilian well uh... SAO did had it's good points... has a good concept, nice music and art, awesome graphics. I'd say that most people hate it because of the characters. In terms of character development, SAO sucks ^^; and there are some giant plot holes too. That's why it gets so much hate I guess ^^;
I cried when Jariya died in Naruto. He was the father Naruto never knew and he died alone away from everyone leaving a message with a frog, and that’s how Naruto learned about his death. It just got to me.
You haven't even known life till you cry during a silent voice, it's so sad! 😭 But, I'll give you a freebee because it wasn't out till after this video.
Am I unfeeling for not feeling pretty much anything from any of these entries. Except the Pokemon one because I watched it first hand. Pikachu is not alowed to cry!!!
Chrono Crusade had me sloppy crying. It's never been played since. Hughes' funeral took on new meaning after the birth of my daughter. It was sad already, but now I have to leave the room when my wife watches it. Your Lie in April, I can't watch again either. Gorgeous music, but, yeah. Can't do it. Even the opening theme brings me to tears.
For me, it was Nephrite dying right in front of Naru in season one of Sailor Moon. All Naru ever wanted was to share a Chocolate Parfait with Nephrite.... *WWWWWHHHHHYYYYYY?!* 😢😭
Me 2😭😭😭 i remember watching that when i was only 5 i cried so many times. No matter how many times i watch this while it's the old dub or the new dub i will still 😢.
UGH!!! Seeing Pickachu cry almost made me cry my eyes out!!! 😢😭😭😭 Seeing such a cute adorable little creature like him cry like that is too heartbreaking for me to watch!
Warning Spoilers!!!!!!: Ok so you see... I was watching Death Note. It was around halfway through the show when one episode just.... Oh my god. L new he was going to die soon... and I knew he knew! So that made me cry so freaking hard! Then when he died later in the episode I had to stop watching and get ALL the tears out before I continued. But when I started watching it again the tears started pouring out. I had to stop the whole show in its tracks for like WEEK just so airport could cope with his loss. Then when I finally started watching it again...... a few episodes in Light Yagami's father dies! Again. I had to stop the whole show to cope with the loss.... I then discovered one thing about me. I tend to get more emotional over anime deaths than real life deaths. ;-;
+Kiki Kangaroo Actually Light's death is what made the tears flow out (for me). It was so meaningful the speech he gave before his final moments. ;-; D'X
...yes and no. Mel sang it in Pity Party, but the "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" part came from the song she sampled, which was made a long time ago. I forget the original artist, but you can find the song pretty easily.

Eileen Every time someone says Benelux in combination with revolutions I start crying like a little child.I know it isn't canon in the series, (I'm still waiting for a episode on it) but it's historical, and historical stuff really hurt me in combination with Hetalia.
Eileen Prussia is probably the character that I cry the most about T^T
Christoph Beilschmidst I can see why. He's been through a lot of shit as a country and just fell apart after trying so hard. Thank god he didn't properly fade away like HRE T_T
Christoph Beilschmidst Well I also cried over Russia too.. he's so misunderstood and always refered as a serial killy without any sentiments..
But I agree with you...That makes me just so sad when I see fanarts of Prussia with the skin on the bones, like omg..
Plus, he is one of my favourite..
It really hurts ;w;
***** you know who we should be afraid of? BELARUS

Logan Coombs-Eldridge Yeah.
death the kid nope, but I cried when Narutos parents died and when Neji sacrificed himself.
death the kid No....but Jiraiya...
I teared at almost every death, even Itachi's after learning the truth of why he slaughtered his clan. Jiraiya's was sad too, but Minato's and Kushina's gets me the most every time.
I only had 2 animes I cried at:
1. Pokemon first movie
2. Silver spoon.
Oh come on WHO DIDN'T cry at pork bowl?!
I didn't
wolf children made me cry so hard why..... im crying now
Not a single Tear. Like a Rock. Cause I have/had no emotional attachment to these characters *cough* with Exception to: 6 and 2. The one anime that truly made me shed man tears was the death of Ace in One Piece
YepX EYYY FINALLY somebody mentioned Ace's Death... Thank you SENPAI!! :D
Bro me 2 Ace's death made me cry no matter what I pored so many tears
YepX no even worse it the only anime that would make you cry over a death of a boat, merry
YepX Going. Fucking. Merry.
One piece made you cry? Seriously? That lame show with terrible art and sub par animation? A kids show made you cry??? Well then.
I cried at death note when L was out side in the rain and just burst into tears when he said: SPOILER!!!
"The bells are oddly loud today." And he knew he was going to die. Then two minutes later he dries lights feet for him and says "it'll be lonely won't it? You and I will be parting ways soon."
When he dies his last moment was knowing that light was kira by seeing a smile spread across lights face as he layer in lights arms dying it's sad cuz he said:
"It'd be a shame if you was kira because I believe you are the first friend I have ever had" earlier on in the anime. I CRIED SO MUCH!!!
T-T
He had sounded so bewildered, so helpless and so sad as he had called out Watari's name... and then... he himself died...
T-T
FUCK YOU, REM!
L!!! COME BACKK
I cried so hard but it was so beautiful how L dries Light's feet and all that even though he knows Light is Kira 😭
I was literally tearing up during the Pokémon one.
" it's my party, and I cry when I want to. Cry when I want to. Cry when I want to. " Best song

Yes OMG why did you remind me😭😭😭

xXCheshireCatXx Holy fudge yes it did I hope he's really not dead😢
Yes😿
Adan Soto -_- bruh really?
Naruto has alot of scenes that make me cry, honestly knowing what's going to happen doesn't stop the tears. Knowing that kushina was going to die due to obito's interference by removing kurama, and that minato could have survived did make me cry, also edo minato telling naruto "happy birthday" for the first time in 17-18 years (I think that's what he said) brought those damn tears back
Kamina's death. Every. Fucking. Time.
Ikr
+OverDrive Bro? ...Bro?
BROOOOO!!!!!!!
+OverDrive Kamina and kittans deaths and Nia's disappearence
Every time I watch that I think that "this time it won't get to me, I know what happens"....but then that scene comes and I am a flood

as soon as i heard her say "Its my perty and i cry if i want to" IMMEDITLY reminded me of Melenie Martinez XD
I cant believe those biches made me cry XD😂
Am I insane for not shedding a single tear through the whole video?
+Jdevy no i didn't cry but you know when you get that face when you're just about to cry? and then you don't.... yea.

90% of people didn't cry
Oh... thanks for the explanation!!😃👍
yeah the feels
I highly recommend you watch "Anohana: the flower we saw that day"
If you honestly thought you knew sadness, I'm telling you that you have no clue what sad is until you see that anime. I can't even watch the first episode anymore it's so fucking sad to me. On par if not sadder than Shigatsu wa kimi.
Ikr
Fucking hell, I can't even listen to the theme without getting teary eyed
That anime is soooooo goood!!!!!!
I watched it a few days ago and i cried 2 times i recomend it to evrybody!!!
I feel kinda heartless now. Watched both and didn't come close to shedding a tear.

Duck Summoner My sister cried.

Duck Summoner YEAH

Hunter x Hunter... When that alien and little girl died together... doing what tied them together................ ;-;
I am a male and am not ashamed to say that I got choked up from that
+William Orrell that's so fucking sexist...
The only anime that ever made me cry, was "Grave Of The Fireflies"
Venomous Lizard it was sad but not extremely sad watch clannad
Fricking watch your lie in april
Your lie in fucking april bruh
Oh god yes, this was just selfdestruction.

+Jacobzooa Angel beats for me. God i just finished rewatching and im still crying
Omg you had me scared at number 1 I thought it was the dogs death from Elfen Lied cause the movies you mentioned had dogs die. Thank God I didn't want to see or talk about that ever again.
Yui Zorah It was so terrible. 'crys' I watch the show more then once I still cry there.
I'm crying from thinking about it
Elfen Lied is by far the saddest, emotionally moving anime I've ever seen... (I've seen pretty much every sad thing out there like, Clannad, Angel Beats, Akame Ga kill, and many more, including sad movies that aren't anime.)That anime has a special place in my heart. I will never forget it...
Aww
Josiah West The anime was sad, yes, but I find the manga much more emotional *remembers it and hides in a corner* bwahhhhhhhh T-T
There were two scenes in angel beats that made me cry, neither of them involved Otonashi or 'Tenshi'
The two leads of DGM, the first for being how we learn how to pass on, the other an emotional goodbye
ßilver Spoon and FMA were both created by the same author. Is it any wonder why those two series are emotionally powerful?
Never watch A Dog's Purpose. *Spoiler Alert* The dog dies again and again and is reincarnated into another dog each time. Its still so sad when it dies though. The ending is a happy one, but still.
I don't know why but I keep watching it and keep crying to it
that movie was funny and sad
I love that movie, especially the scene with the police dog
Why did u put spoiler alert and not put it down to read more cuz everyone will see it because people read it all at once
@@beaconofmonsters9565 but I already watched it it’s for someone else to let u know
Number 1... What the actual FUCK is wrong with that character?! He could've saved his pig friend, but NOPE! HE'D RATHER HAVE BACON!
+Gepdox XVI I know right!!
+Gepdox XVI I would think this should have gone in the WTF list.
+Joyce Hatcher Ikr? One does not simply slaughter his pet for beacon! Like, wtf?!
+Gepdox XVI in will say FUCK FGO AWAY NO EATING MY FRIEND HE WILL DIE ONLY IN HIS TIME SHUT UP GO AWAY *cryyyyyyyy*
Štěpánka Běhounková
Ikr? Like, seriously, there was NO reason for him to do this! "Ohhh I raised him to be slaughtered normal like the others. So he has to die and get eaten! Sounds legit, doesnt it?" Like, wtf?
8:55 Let's be honest, THIS had all of us crying.. ;)
Frida Säterö no

+Carla Pleitez RIGHT
Full metal. EVERY FUCKING TIME. HUGHES.
My sis showed me the Pokemon thing and when pikachu started to cry I lost it
Chrono Crusade was one of the first Anime I've ever watched, and I watched it when I was 12. I remember bawling my eyes out when I first watched this scene, and after re-watching the show recently, I can tell you I /STILL/ get teary-eyed when I watch the final episode
It was absolutely heartbreaking watching this scene, and even more so when the Order finally finds them, only to see that they've died.
Robyn: “Wolf mans death”
Me: *sobs*
Robyn: “Wake up Ash!”
Me: WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Aqua Draws You can hear Pikachu practically say "C'mon buddy! One more shocks gotta do it!"😥😕
The death of the Going Merry from One Piece had in tears.
WOLF CHILDREN I CRIED THE HOLE MOVIE
Here are a few off my personal list:
To steal a joke from Robyn:
Did you guys know Madoka Magica has a lot of sad moments?
Honestly, it's so hard to choose, but if I had to choose, it would two scenes, that parallel each other beautifully and sadly
Sayaka's transformation into a witch, and Kyoko's sacrifice get me every single time
I recently watched the show with my siblings, and I admitted to them that I can never finish episode 9. We watched the episode, the whole episode
And I cried. These two girls, started as enemies and became lovers, only for one to fall into despair and basically kill herself, but the other sacrifices herself to save the girl she loves, knowing full well it probably won't work
I mean.... That's.... That's just devastating! Those moments get me every time, and every time I watch the show those moments make me cry.
Honorable mention to the ending of the show
Also angel beats...
+Sage Buice I love SAO too. I also cried when Yui "died". It made me so sad.
+Anime America i'm not upset at all, but i just want to know why you dislike SAO.
+Sage Buice My sad experience was the end of season 2.
+The Reptilian well uh... SAO did had it's good points... has a good concept, nice music and art, awesome graphics.
I'd say that most people hate it because of the characters. In terms of character development, SAO sucks ^^; and there are some giant plot holes too.
That's why it gets so much hate I guess ^^;
PLS DONT SHOW WOLF CHILDREN! AHH NO YOU SHOWED IT OMG NO I CRY AT THE WHOLE MOVIE!
+Lillian Sivers omg when you paused the vid i thought he was a walrus LMAO
+Lillian Sivers me too I was cryin the whole movie it was so sad 😭😭😭😭

Am I unfeeling for not feeling pretty much anything from any of these entries. Except the Pokemon one because I watched it first hand.
Pikachu is not alowed to cry!!!
I also cried at all of fma brotherhoods sad scenes and hate your lie in April
I don't like silver spoon ether
I cried for none of this stuff. Especially not pokemon. Pokemon is garbage.

Warning Spoilers!!!!!!: Ok so you see... I was watching Death Note. It was around halfway through the show when one episode just.... Oh my god. L new he was going to die soon... and I knew he knew! So that made me cry so freaking hard! Then when he died later in the episode I had to stop watching and get ALL the tears out before I continued. But when I started watching it again the tears started pouring out. I had to stop the whole show in its tracks for like WEEK just so airport could cope with his loss. Then when I finally started watching it again...... a few episodes in Light Yagami's father dies! Again. I had to stop the whole show to cope with the loss.... I then discovered one thing about me. I tend to get more emotional over anime deaths than real life deaths. ;-;
Correction ***For like a week so I could cope with the loss******
+Kiki Kangaroo Actually Light's death is what made the tears flow out (for me). It was so meaningful the speech he gave before his final moments. ;-; D'X
+Kiki Kangaroo I liked L so bad. That cake insult he gave to Misa was amazing in episode 18. ='( why did L have to die!?
When a list starts with Pity Party :3
Yes, the song she's singing at the beginning
Alix Serperior it is.
...yes and no. Mel sang it in Pity Party, but the "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" part came from the song she sampled, which was made a long time ago. I forget the original artist, but you can find the song pretty easily.
Emø Trash It's my party by Lesley Gore.
