Tbh I'm not much of a fan of Black Butler and I would put Yuri on Ice a bit lower on my own ranking, but I doubt I've seen a tenth of the anime that you have, and I love seeing different people's opinions and preferences (I'm sure if I were to do a top 30 list I'd include a lot of newer anime, magical girl series, and shonen battle series)
My neighbor totoro is my favorite studio ghibli film. I find it really creative and fascinating. Howls moving castle is pretty good too. I can understand why that's your favorite studio ghibli film.

So many things on your list that I love as well. (Happy birthday in advance btw.) I barely made it past the first episode of Lucky Star but once I did I absolutely fell in love. Gravitation is so close to my heart as it was my first shounen-ai as well. To this day I adore the manga, the anime is quite ok too. Yuri on Ice and Hellsing, hell yes. Fond memories. I'm a bit surprised not to see Death Note and FMA - Brotherhood here, but that's absolutely my bias because I love them so much XD

i know that everyone has own tastes at something , but one of most triggering things is how can someone like 2003 fma more than fmab?? it's fact in my opinion that fmab is supirior. give me an argument where fma is better than fmab. u can't cuz there are none. and correction fmab is original series i hate when people call 2003 orginal cuz it came first. when i think everyone knows meaning of original. so they should know that series that follows manga is original not recreated filler.

I've always had a lot of respect for your opinions on anime and this list validated that in one easy video. Outside of the ones I haven't seen (most of which are on my very long to watch list) Only 4 don't make my top 30. I'm currently watching Overlord, so I haven't placed that one yet, but it's a strong contender. Darker Than Black would have made the cut if it had more of a satisfying ending, but I felt there was just too much unexplained to leave me content with the conclusion. With Angel Beats (and I almost never say this about an anime) it should have been longer! When the secret is revealed as to why they were all still in this place I was really looking forward to exploring the lives of all these interesting side characters that hadn't had a fair bit of screen time yet, but then they are all "nah we sorted out our stuff long ago and we're just staying for you" I felt like there was a huge missed opportunity there, the show could easily have been 24 episodes long and flushed out the supporting cast. Also, while the end really hit me hard the first time, when I thought about it later, I realised what a massive plot hole it actually is and even though I still like the series, I can't really get over that. (Yuri on Ice also had issues with the supporting cast not really being flushed out too but it was just good enough to skate into my top 30 despite that. Also another show that could have stood to be a couple episodes longer. Fingers crossed for a great season 2). Lastly, Dragon Ball: I haven't seen the original since I was a kid but I have fond memories of it; as for DBZ, I did really like it... up until it jumped the shark at the end of the Freeza arc... and then ran off to find bigger sharks in the subsequent arcs. Don't get me wrong, I like some good anime nonsense in my shows from time to time; I'm a big fan of Kill La Kill, Guren Laggan and Flip Flappers; but DBZ is just several sharks too many for me. Great video as usual, looking forward to more. P.S. When I was a kid I wanted to be Tuxedo Mask soooo bad XD P.P.S. Have you ever seen Eden of the East? Not many people talk about it and given our mutual tastes, I think you'd really enjoy it even if it might not make your top 30. Just make sure to watch the movies too, they are basically a season 1.5, some people skip them thinking they will be retreads or reworks but they are a direct continuation.

I didn't think I was gonna like it at first, but then I fell in love with the characters and began to like seeing them get into all these crazy shenanigans. In fact, it's hard to describe what I loved about Space Dandy other than I just liked almost everything about it. Also it was aesthetic and trippy (always a plus for me).

Wow, I was honestly and very presently surprised by your number 2. Outlaw Star is my personal number 1. It's the first anime I bought because of not only the memories of watching it growing up, but Gene. He's still my favorite hero. That and it, along with Gundam Wing, is what sparked my love of mecha.
She’s great. I’ve found somethings that I am interested in watching after she has talked about them. I’ve watched a few videos multiple times now and I’ve not got bored. I found her by chance. A video was suggested and I decided to give it a go.
Some very good picks. I especially liked that you had Gundam Wing on there. I remember what it was like in early 2000, DBZ had wrapped up and I wanted something to fill the void, and there it was.
My favorite anime’s are: Saint Seiya, Rurouni Kenshin, FullMetal Alchemist (Both 2003 and Brotherhood), Dragon Ball (OG, Z, GT and Super), One Punch Man, Inuyasha, Rosario+Vampire (The Manga though, the anime sucks), Yu-Gi-Oh (From Season 0 to 5Ds), Somewhat Neon Genesis Evangelion and unfortunately High School DxD (The Manga, the Anime is like I’m watching a hentai). Currently I’m interested on watching My hero Academia, and Cells at Work. So yeah I’m a weeb T-T. Thankfully I am also a comic fan (Marvel, DC, Spawn, Sonic, IDW, etc)

Tbh I'm not much of a fan of Black Butler and I would put Yuri on Ice a bit lower on my own ranking, but I doubt I've seen a tenth of the anime that you have, and I love seeing different people's opinions and preferences (I'm sure if I were to do a top 30 list I'd include a lot of newer anime, magical girl series, and shonen battle series)
My neighbor totoro is my favorite studio ghibli film. I find it really creative and fascinating. Howls moving castle is pretty good too. I can understand why that's your favorite studio ghibli film.

I've always had a lot of respect for your opinions on anime and this list validated that in one easy video. Outside of the ones I haven't seen (most of which are on my very long to watch list) Only 4 don't make my top 30. I'm currently watching Overlord, so I haven't placed that one yet, but it's a strong contender.
Darker Than Black would have made the cut if it had more of a satisfying ending, but I felt there was just too much unexplained to leave me content with the conclusion.
With Angel Beats (and I almost never say this about an anime) it should have been longer! When the secret is revealed as to why they were all still in this place I was really looking forward to exploring the lives of all these interesting side characters that hadn't had a fair bit of screen time yet, but then they are all "nah we sorted out our stuff long ago and we're just staying for you" I felt like there was a huge missed opportunity there, the show could easily have been 24 episodes long and flushed out the supporting cast. Also, while the end really hit me hard the first time, when I thought about it later, I realised what a massive plot hole it actually is and even though I still like the series, I can't really get over that. (Yuri on Ice also had issues with the supporting cast not really being flushed out too but it was just good enough to skate into my top 30 despite that. Also another show that could have stood to be a couple episodes longer. Fingers crossed for a great season 2).
Lastly, Dragon Ball: I haven't seen the original since I was a kid but I have fond memories of it; as for DBZ, I did really like it... up until it jumped the shark at the end of the Freeza arc... and then ran off to find bigger sharks in the subsequent arcs. Don't get me wrong, I like some good anime nonsense in my shows from time to time; I'm a big fan of Kill La Kill, Guren Laggan and Flip Flappers; but DBZ is just several sharks too many for me.

P.P.S. Have you ever seen Eden of the East? Not many people talk about it and given our mutual tastes, I think you'd really enjoy it even if it might not make your top 30. Just make sure to watch the movies too, they are basically a season 1.5, some people skip them thinking they will be retreads or reworks but they are a direct continuation.

I didn't think I was gonna like it at first, but then I fell in love with the characters and began to like seeing them get into all these crazy shenanigans. In fact, it's hard to describe what I loved about Space Dandy other than I just liked almost everything about it. Also it was aesthetic and trippy (always a plus for me).
great top 30 robyn..there's a few in there I've seen and still like myself..I've seen some episodes of outlaw star and seen cowboy bebop both of which I love I haven't seen yuri on ice yet but do plan to watch it..i saw a few episodes of gravitation(over a friend's house) and it was pretty good I also watched gundam wing as well(death scythe hell has always been my favorite gundam) and of course I love love love sailor moon others that were on your list I either never saw or never heard of before so if I get my chance i'll check them out as well..keep up all the great work at anime america :) also happy birthday
Wow, I was honestly and very presently surprised by your number 2. Outlaw Star is my personal number 1. It's the first anime I bought because of not only the memories of watching it growing up, but Gene. He's still my favorite hero. That and it, along with Gundam Wing, is what sparked my love of mecha.

Saint Seiya, Rurouni Kenshin, FullMetal Alchemist (Both 2003 and Brotherhood), Dragon Ball (OG, Z, GT and Super), One Punch Man, Inuyasha, Rosario+Vampire (The Manga though, the anime sucks), Yu-Gi-Oh (From Season 0 to 5Ds), Somewhat Neon Genesis Evangelion and unfortunately High School DxD (The Manga, the Anime is like I’m watching a hentai).
Currently I’m interested on watching My hero Academia, and Cells at Work. So yeah I’m a weeb T-T.
Thankfully I am also a comic fan (Marvel, DC, Spawn, Sonic, IDW, etc)
