Made this last night and the Wife said, "You can make this anytime"! Only change was I used 3 year aged White Cheddar in place of the Monterey Jack. Outstanding. Even followed your example and did it all outdoors using my Carolina Cooker burner and my RT-700 pellet grill.
lol… I’ve watched almost all of your videos… I don’t think I’ve ever noticed you using “mise en place” before… love it… even if it’s a bit a jab at the “chef’s out therrr” Looking forward to trying this one out !
Matt my friend this is a great idea ! Thanks for giving me the idea to cut my bells in half instead of just cutting off the tops. I find my kids like the reds yellows and orange bells instead of the green. Great advice. Yes I will still add in some minute rice with the meat like my mom did back in the 80’s👊
I emailed you a couple of months ago Matt about using your skills to make a great sloppy joe. You said one is in the works, look for it this summer. I am so impressed with what you came up with! I use all of your recipes to cook for my wife and kids and you never disappoint! Thank you so much for all of your awesome creations! You make every Wednesday exciting to see what's next! Huge fan Matt, keep it coming!!!!!!!!!
Matt, looks absolutely delicious I will have to try this recipe. On a side note what type of knife do you use to cut up the brisket on the intro? I am looking for a good set. Thanks
As I'm waiting for my St Louis Ribs to get done, I watched this video. Next on my grill will be Roasted Sloppy Joe Stuffed Bell Peppers!! Thank you Matt for all your wonderful recipes and entertainment!!
@@robertbusek30 They were excellent!! So glad yours came out great. So easy to following Meat Church's recipe. Tomorrow I will try the sloppy Joe bell peppers. 😀
Great video and I will definitely try these out (look delicious). I am a big poblano fan so I might try those even though they will not hold as much joe. Maybe bacon wrap them too. So much you can do with this recipe.
Love this easy weeknight recipe. I just made sloppy joe's last night and thought to myself, would be cool if Matt made a sloppy joe video. Ask and you shall receive! 😂Also, the production value on all your videos is top notch! From beef wellington to sloppy joe peppers, the production is consistently great! Kudos to the production team! Keep up the great content!
Ran this on the cooker tonight. Outstanding dish to finish on a pellet smoker! Left overs will be chopped and placed on brioche (or any other) buns! Next time ground venison. I’d like to impart more smoke on the meat. Is there a skillet series? Great tips as always. Thanks.
Definitely doing this then making a grilled cheese sandwich to put it on with fresh sliced tomatoes and a side of roasted corn on the cob with lots of butter and garlic salt
Dang you gave me a ton of ideas, different meat mixes and different peppers. I was gonna do my variation of your BBQ meatloaf for my lunch next week - but this may take it!
Finally got my hands on some of the Meat Church brand seasonings and they are awesome! Been putting Dia de la Fajita on everything, including burgers. Love the Texas Sugar as well. Trying Holy Cow tonight. They sell all of this at the Ace Hardware near my house.
Just convinced me to use that pound of ground chuck for this recipe instead of the burgers I was planning. Thanks for this quick and easy recipe . 👍 The only thing I'd do to kick up the sloppy joes is to add just a bit of finely chopped jalapeno or seranno pepper to the mix while simmering it. More fish and seafood recipes would be great too please.
Sadly we don’t have a Traeger (yet) but will one day. Can’t wait to add these delicious and easy sloppy Joe peppers to our weekly meal rotation! Cheers Matt! ❤😋
Great video as always from Meat church, im going to be making stuffed peppers for dinner. Are you able to share who the portable burner you were using is made by?
Oh hell yeah. I would even consider putting this on a nice, soft sloppy joe bun since I really like green peppers in my traditional SJs. In any case, this is brilliant. Thank you.
Love seeing the Ranch Rider drinks recently. Wish we had them more easily available in Colorado. Check out South Norte drinks as well. Another good variety pack for the SW drinks but with Tequila.
Making these today BUT, I'm using chorizo instead!! Throwing in diced jalapeños, onion, and some cilantro lime white rice!
Wicked ! 💥😎
TASTY!!!!
I made these last night for dinner. My wife and I LOVED them. Thank you!
I love the music you play. It's like praise and worship while making Sunday dinner. Thank you !
4:08 dont worry we all do this, even when appron is hanging next to cooking station 😂
I'm guilty.
Made these last night. They were great! It’s been a minute since I’ve made stuffed peppers and the sloppy Joe mixture was wonderful.
AWESOME!!!!!

New to the Pellet grill scene, I've tried 3 of your recipes so far and all have been fantastic. This one is going on my list also, Thank you!!
LOVE IT!
You're in the right place. Haven't been disappointed by any of the Meat Church recipe's I've tried.
Welcome to the family
I just watched this and agree that they would be good. Instead of bell peppers, I might try poblanos.
@@harrywarren5081you sir are a gentleman and a scholar! That is a fantastic idea.
Happy to be a member of the congregation.
Happy to have you here! -Matt
Me too! I’ve bought and tried all of his rubs. Our families three favorites are Voodoo, Gospel, and now the new Blanco!

Great Recipe! I made about 20 of these this past weekend for our neighborhood get together. There were none left! East Texas, Hunt County
These are all very the best ...I made a wild rice dish to go with it. Perfect match😊
What a great idea! My kids will love this too.
Enjoy!

What brand of the gas burner? Trying this recipe today!
How much more of a smoke flavor would these take on if cooked at a lower temp? Excited to try these.
It sounds lovely. I’d recommend waiting on the cheese, though, as it will melt rather quickly at even a lower temp and you don’t want to lose it.
Not a ton
