Great review as always Push Square! Man the level of detail on the character models looks absolutely stunning, Arkham Knight had detailed character models but this game is on an other level. Also happy to see Rocksteady finally get to make a game set during the day with the new Metropolis setting, I am a huge fan of the Arkham trilogy and Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League looks like a fun time, colorful visuals , along with the quick run and gun style gameplay system, the banter between the squad, even the story looks like it will be interesting, the game will be a good time

It's one of the most polished open world action games to come out in years with next level animations, particularly facial. Smooth framerate, excellent controls, if there's any pop in it would be so slight I haven't noticed it. It's a great game for action fans with lots of banter that is actually funny, for the most part, without repeating too often. It's not a Batman game in pace, it's faster and more destructive, because it was never a Batman game. It's Suicide Squad. Your loss if you join the mob rule to say it's terrible. If this game should bomb, especially combined with the "fans" doing the same nonsense to the well made Gotham Knights, you won't see a different style game made to your demand. They'll stop making the games if they aren't profitable, full stop.

Online is coming. Wait about a month or so, then you'll be good to go for offline playing. For what's it worth in the meantime, I've played solo the whole time and had zero issues. No lag that I can tell, no stutter. I wouldn't have known I was online performance-wise.

I don’t usually get refunds on games or tell people not to get things they may be interested in, but I finished the game fully and am grinding the endgame. The story is such a fall from grace for rocksteady, and the gameplay loop is so boring, please don’t waste your money, atleast waste for a deep deep sale

Here's the thing: I'm not at all opposed to playing a twitchy third person shooter with a lot of verticality. It's not exactly pushing the envelope here, but I can have fun with this kind of thing. I am not, however, going to wade through an ocean of BS to play a game like this. From the obnoxious live-service gimmick all to the story that's downright _contemptuous_ towards the Arkham games, this is one of the most insulting value propositions ever offered by a AAA studio. It didn't have to be this way. We could all have had some mindless fun. But noooooo, WB just _had_ to go and throw good taste out the window.
I would agree, anyone who's panties would get in bunch over the story should sit it out. It doesn't seem DC or Rocksteady are interested in people with weird entitlement over character arcs or obsessions over a self contained story's subjective respect to the character.
