I think that the results are also skewed in French speaking countries since "paris" can also be the plural of bet, so all of the former colonies of France probably get some boost from that if anyone there is trying to do some online betting in French (as for most of those countries, I doubt they'd find sites for that in their native language tbh). I don't know how relevant that is, but it's also there, just like how the different cities in the Americas named after other capital cities also skew the results

@Your Majesty, i think as a whole it makes sense for japan to have more searches of London than new york, prior to WW2 the UK and japan were big allies. japan actually used to want to be the UK of asia. the UK taught them how to organise their navy and they became the first non-western country to defeat a western country after the industrial revolution (russia). in fact a significant factor that helped japan to win the war was that they had a defensive anti-russian alliance with the british. also the '45 atomic bombs dropped by the US are probably a big reason as well..

Because they can take English classes (and it's cheaper than US or UK for example), the VISA process is more flexible, and they are also allowed to work part time. But also other reasons, like it's easier to travel to other places, and it's a beautiful country... etc.

@Serving It Cold yeah maybe that is a possibility..Mumbai is facing an acute shortage of land for further development but Delhi or wider NCR might overtake though that too not for long since African cities will experience a population boom and gradually India's population stabilise and then ultimately shrink.
