Fellow 21.5 racer here. Try gluing your sidewalls on front tires. Adds so much forgiveness for when you land awkward.
Hmm. Nice. I glue sides for on road and have for off road but it was always about cornering. Never thought of jumping effects. Thank you!!!
I just did my 1st race in 8 years with my 21.5 B7D that I just got together. I no longer had a camber or ride height gauge so those were likely off. I was about 2 seconds slower than the fastest guy it seems like. Some of my laps weren't the best because I was just trying to stay out of the way a bit. I think my 1st upgrade will be a slipper eliminator because I feel like 21.5 doesn't need a slipper.
No you need direct power and also speedo settings help a ton

6:24 Look into the steering link on the servo. My understanding is that link should be parallel to the tie rods.
Is drag brake a setting on your controller? Never heard of that term.
I’ll take a look at the link. I know the b54 has the ability to move it up and down based on the little hat inserts. Drag brake is a setting in the esc. When you let off and go to zero throttle it applies and percentage of brake force. Very handy to help add or take away steering and for small tracks like this it keeps you from having to use the real brake in corners when you just need a little help before you can get back on power.

many say that but carpet is all around us

how low do u have to gear a 21.5 to get the tourque back?
Hard to tell much difference between 72 spur and then 34-30. I usually run 30 just to make sure I don’t blow out the corners on the straights. Still working on that throttle control.
What gearing do you suggest for a 21.5?
im liking 69-32ish
How much faster is a 17.5 than a 21 5?
pretty fast man especially when geared
