Brought this because ur videos thanks! And I did buy medium to get comfortable. Tho I'm trying both the mousse and water. But I think the water is less likely to have lines I think. Do u still like the water better?

So, unlike you I am a beginner at self-tanners! So please bear with me, with the Tanologist, do you exfoliate before you apply it? I watched the video so I know you use the moisturizer on your elbows and ankles and feet areas but I'm talking about before you apply it all, would you take a shower first and exfoliate or just a shower or no shower at all!!!

I only saw this in a cart in Walmart on clearance and I thought wow this clear stuff going to give you a tan? My girlfriend says I'll just get it it's the light version so can't be too much damage! So I did and it was only $2 when when! And then I had to go to videos that had reviews on this and I saw yours first so I'm a little happier now that I bought it after your video. And I do have to say that you are very good at doing videos this is the first time I've ever seen you,Your a camera friendly Gal!

I like the tan water so much more than the foam, I find the foam to be really sticky and it takes forever to dry down. But the water is easy and convenient, no sticky, no mess, and it smells amazing. Also after 6 hours the color is so deep and gorgeous.
A tanner that lasts a full 7 days on my skin is called sungoddess. I’ve been using it for 5 or 6 years now. It comes out as a beautiful olive toned tan and looks extremely natural. It does not have a strong self tan scent and it doesn’t stain your sheets or your clothing and it dries very quirkily after application. I feel it’s a very underrated tanner and not many people know about it and I feel it deserves the recognition that loving tan gets!

@@t.isnt.c00l111 Yes, some oils and alcohols etc can break down your tan pretty fast. I use Shea butter and my tans last really nicely!
I bought the dark one today in Walmart, and I’m a self tanning queen, so I’m excited!!
I despise the tanning BO which is a real deterrent, so this is very refreshing to hear. I recently received email tips after purchasing the Loving Tan Gradual Tan in a tube. LT suggested to use a wipe and gently wipe tanner off hands after 30 minutes of tanning. However, I thoroughly moisturize and allow to dry prior to tanning, b/c I’m older and have drier skin. I’m not currently using anything, but VERY happy I found this video. I now want to try Tanologist! Thank you for all in info provided!

My mistake I guess...can't be too trusting with a lot of these videos because they could be paid by sponsors..etc. Doesn't hurt to give this tanner a try, the selling point is the cruelty free aspect anyway. 🙃 Again...apologies for doubting ur credibility. What can I say....I'm a skeptic at best and a pessimist at worst. 🙃

I just started using this and so far loving it. I don't tan (my skin just burns) so always been searching for something to give me one.this one has been great. I Def agree with hands and feet being Orangey. With me for self tanner I apply a quick mid application at 3-4 days to keep it going. It is so much quicker than mousse I love the light airy smell vs the mousse I typically used. In the past.
I'm a self tan guru. I have tried over 100 different brands in my lifetime . This brand is definitely in my top 3!!! I love hempz lotion as well, a great moisturizer. Thanks for the video . Keep up the great work! Eventually , I will be starting a self tan channel with giveaways.

This was so helpful! Thank you! I got my first spray tan last month and then purchased this product after. I used it, following your tips and it was perfect. I’m a natural read head and very pale, and was afraid I’d look weird or orange and I had no issues. Lovely natural glow and buildable color even with the light shade!

Thanks for all this info! Ive used Jergens lotion and didn't love it. I also was eyeing this on IG for like two months. Then for three Target trips I visited it in the aisle but didn't purchase. Today I purchased the medium tone (because I was nervous about the dark being too dark) and I am 2 hours post-application. However, the nozzle of my mister broke! So, I have to return it and grab a new one. I'll probably grab "dark" next time. I do love that it dries quickly and that I can wear clothes and go about my day while tanning.

Lemon juice and baking soda will take off the patches when it starts wearing off. I did that and it worked.
I just purchased this as well as the Tanologist face drops as well! The face drops are made to be added to your moisturizer.
I added multiple layers like you as well because I accidentally grabbed medium instead of the dark lol!!8 usually use B.Tan 4ever and ever, it lasts up to 11 days so those of you looking for a longer lasting-that’s the way to go. My only qualm is that it’s a bit sticky during processing. It’s a mousse that you apply and rinse as well!!

I put this (and Fake Bake Flawless Darker) in a continuous mist spray bottle, and it's a game changer!!! I strip down in my garage and spray down haha. With continuous spray bottle, I can even get my back without help. Dries evenly and doesn't even need blending in with a glove. Just make sure to cover tops of feet with paper towel after you apply there.
The Ulta tanning mousse is AMAZING!! It’s my go to tanner, but I’m trying this too!

Great review. I’ve tried the LA Tanning Water (can get it at Walmart) which I love. I like to mix it with my SPF during the day for an every day lotion and use alone for a golden tan. But will definitely try out the Tanologist. Was curious about it and glad I came upon your review. Thanks and stay safe.

You shouldn't mix it with spf
Ive had a tan last over a week. I honestly just gently exfoliate every couple days and it keeps it maintained
mine last ten days. instead of trying to get the full color in one day, I like to do one layer a day over 3 to 4 days instead of one day. after day 8 you can't really add more or it will look uneven.

use a gradual tanning moisturiser instead of a normal one!! my tan starts to get a bit patchy after like 8/9 days when I use a tanning moisturiser!! i use the Tanologist one or the palmers one 💜

australian glow from ulta is the ONLYYYYYY tan that lasts, doesnt get splotchy, and fades evenly ( if u use lotion every day ) i am a tanning psycho and i FINALLY found the darkest and the most long wearing tan!!! i tell everyone about it bc its seriously so good. i use the shade dark and its dark dark.

I saw this at target today and I was very curious about it. I have never used self tanner how every I did buy a bottle of the loving tan self tanner but I have been paranoid to put it on. I’m glad I saw this video I’m going to go back to target and purchase it right now and work my way up to the Loving tan so it’s not too intense all at once. Of course! You’ll love it! You definitely can but I don’t. Self tanner never stays on my face for more than a couple days because of my skincare routine!
They actually make a face serum to add to your daily moisturizer for your face ad well! I bought it with mine!
i loveee using the jergens face lotion for my face! it’s super nice and it’ll match any tan💕it hasn’t broken me out at all.
I spray it on my face an my entire body, and I have a ritual skincare routine every night! I use Lush skincare on my body, which is a all natural vegan approach to skincare, and this works great! I’m a huge sunless facial tanning mist junkie, and have tried SOOO many! The At tropez bronzing facial mist is the best so far! The Minetan rose illuminating facial mist works great too! The b.tan “You glow girl” facial tanning mist is a no no for me! Make me break out in a huge rash all over my neck and chin!!
So, i usually use loving tan or bondi sands for my actual tan... but i like to use gradual tanners throughout the week, along with moisturizer to prolong my tan.... would this be a great every day or every other day option to pray over my tan to prolong? it seems like it would be a great and fast option. thoughts? thanks in advance! && love your video!! i feel like no one ever mentions the STANK in their videos.... like come on people, we know about that STANK after applying self tanner. lmao
Victoria Smith the stank I’m dead 😂😂 WE ALL KNOW ITS REAL! I would say no to this being a gradual tanner unless you used the light shade! The dark shade (what I use now) is very deep in color & perfect for a true self tanner situation!

No. Start with 1 layer cause it may be too dark with 2. I use dark myself
I'm fairly new to self tanning but based on this review I tried this brand and love it! I have a question, though if you could reply. When it starts fading and I'm ready to reapply, is it necessary to get *every* bit of the remaining product off of my skin before reapplying? Thanks!

I watched a few of the vids on tanning but didn't hear about face unless I missed it and I'm sorry, but what do you use on your face? This is always my biggest tanning issue because these ones for body don't seem good for face and face tanners just come off easily. Thank you for your help!
Yay I’m so glad! I don’t use self tanner on my face. It comes off in 1-2 days and I’m so particular about my skincare now & what goes on my face! I just use a darker foundation to match

I just bought this one she’s talking about today, and I sprayed my face and chest neck earlier, and I can already tell I love it! Maybe even more than the St. Tropez!
Also this is black friendly! My face looks so sickly in the winter because I'm never in the sun so I used the dark and I literally look like I just got back from vacation! I'm not sure if you're supposed to use it on your face, but I did lol

I use a £8 tan and it’s not orange or streaky and lasts 2 weeks if u are from the uk u can get it from Superdrug x

Thank you so glad you loved it! It doesn’t have a color guard to it that needs to be rinsed off but you’ll still want to shower it off after 6-12 hours!

I didn’t get anyyyy color!! And I used the dark one. I might have still had a little bit of an older tanner on so that could have been it but I seriously want it to work ahah Idk if I should try it again after I showered and exfoliated !

So the directions don’t say to wash it off. But with most self tanner it does say to wash it off afterwards do we still do that with this tanning water or no
I have been using the tanned af brand in the darkest shade from walmart, that is a mousse and it works great. I think that's better than this one because 1 you can see where it's been applied and two the bottle doesnt drip and make a mess all over my feet while trying to apply.

I tried this just last night and i think i just can’t do it. I missed spots so I tried to cover it up and it didn’t develop and i feel like it didn’t go on evenly on my body at times. And i have a trip here soon so hopefully i can redo it before then and it looks good

I was looking at this at the store the other day. I am fair skin and I find I tend to go orange with a handful of self tanners. I just tried the st. moriz and I looked like an Oompa Loompa after haha! Mind you I used the dark one. I find with medium sometimes they don’t deepen enough. Maybe I will try this one.
I also struggled with this for a long time. Bondi Sans self tanner is great for this! I find it NEVER makes me orange. It has a green undertone to prevent an orangey tan and it looks really pretty and natural.
Am I the only one that had no color show up on them???? I’m super pale and I did the usual prep before spraying it on and blending it out with a mitt. I waited for 4 hours and washed it off and nothing showed up. I put on another layer and went to bed and I got only a light color next morning???? And y’all I got the dark shade.....

Lindsey Jones thank you so much! I don’t apply self tanner to my face anymore because it comes off in a day or two! So I’d rather just keep the skincare on it 😊 I know Tanologist has gradual tanning drops that you can mix with moisturizer and I’ve heard great things about that!

You probably thinking of L'Oreal self tanning pads Or spray That's what you was probably trying to think of. L'Oreal tan all over your clothes and streaks all over the bed I don't like them and it makes you look an orange color instead of a good tan
I used it for the 1st time last night, and my sprayer seems to drip and omg my heels had a couple drips I never noticed and it looks like I have been staining a house lol 😂 anyone else notice issues with their sprayer, or maybe I got a messed up one?

I’ve never self tanned but I just ordered this as well as the face drops. Should I buy a tanning mit or could I use my hands to rub it out?
Emma Dennis buy the tanning mit and don’t use your hands. your hands will probably be tanned too.
