So many good ideas! I never thought of making my own reed diffuser! I enjoy my regular diffuser so much, but having reed diffusers around the house would continue that wonderful scent! When I was taking chemotherapy, a therapist gave me a little compact with a couple of cotton balls that had peppermint essential oil added and told me to inhale when I felt nauseous. I thought she was crazy but it worked! I enjoy choosing the scent for the day. I thank you for how you inspired me to use essential oils! It really does help my mood, and now I can give away homemade reed diffusers to others! Love your videos and expertise! 👏🏻🥰💕
Never used a diffuser before. Definitely would like essential oils much better than chemical products. I do put a few drops of lavender or jasmine inside toilet paper rolls. Smells nice. Thanks for all the information 🙏❤
Love your video . I will say tho , it is not suggested to use essential oil directly on the skin . You may dilute them with a carrier oil . You can use grapeseed oil , jojoba oil or avacado oil which absorb really well into the skin
Excellent ideas. Thank you so much! But if you store onions in your refrigerator, you have time to cut them up without the fumes. As they return to room temp they will start to smell stronger again.
Good video! Thank you for sharing. Tip for cutting onions. Cut off the ends. Stand upright and slice through the middle horizontally (slowly with caution) now when you chop the onion no gas is released in your face! Honest it works every time!
It's interesting how essential oils that I don't like the smell of (like the mix for digestion) stay on clothing for a long time and the ones I like dissapear really fast 😅
Great video!! I am want to start a business for Home Reed Diffusers and Car Diffusers, which carrier oil can be best for my products (diffusers)?. I will also like to know the difference between essential oil and fragrance oil. Thank you
Can you use fragrance oil, or is it important to use essential oils? I haven't had success at making blends that I enjoy and fragrance oils seem like such an easier (and cheaper) way to get it right.
what is the difference between fragrance oils and essential oils? For carrier oils, there are some that are marketed as diffuser base oils. Any pros to using those as oppose to the grocery store safflower oil/sweet almond oil/fractionated coconut oil? I'm new to the whole thing so i would really appreciate your response. Thanks!
So our essential oils have warnings not to apply them directly from the bottle into our skin. Is your essential oil mixed with a carrier oil or something?
I would love to have a reed diffuser by my bedside for relaxation, but Hubbie and I live in a tiny home (200 sq. Feet) with our 2 very large dogs and I worry that it will be either harmful to them or irritating to them. Can you make any suggestions?
I would not recommend leaving your essential oil bottles open. This will quickly dilute their effectiveness. Better to put a drop or two into a small bowl of water for the same effect.
I am sorry but this will not work. First you need to fill those jars in order for the reeds to soak up enough on a constant basis so it gets in the air. The amount you have in there is just about enough to wet the reed. Next, using a carrier oil makes it hard for the mix to travel up the reed due to the thickness of the mix. Lastly, you need about 10 reeds, if everything else I said is followed, in order for this to work for longer than 5 minutes. Sorry.
You don't suppose to use undiluted essential oils on your body. You should google that subject and fill out more information. Also only use 100% essential oils for diffusers. Use Rattan Reeds they work better. Also before flipping the reed slightly shake the container, to re-mix the mixture.
Nice Internet joke. You smell noting if you'll try it. Maybe the electric one is working. The one with the sticks gives no smell at all. Internet Joke.

Thank you!! I’ll try that!
I cut the ends off & pealed it under running water. Then chop it on the cutting board. Not one tear she'd.

Hello! Would you be able to give me an approximate ratio of carrier oil, essential oil, & alcohol? Thank you!! (For a 10ml bottle)
Agree!
You don't suppose to use undiluted essential oils on your body.
You should google that subject and fill out more information.
