In Hindu religion,its not true that women are at par with men.Right from the ancient times,women were accorded an inferior status.They were given the status of a mistress
alone.In the vedas,women were equated with shudras.This is what Ive read from books.
Then stop reading wrong books. Your lack of knowledge or inability to understand truth does not invalidate the truth. If you are genuinely interested and open minded, then stop reading western commentaries on Vedas and translations by western "indologists". Read works of Aurobindo or Jadunath Sarkar or other Indian scholars.
These guys are mostly colonized and their syllabus makes them future "SEPOYS".Since you mentioned Western Indologist you might be aware of Rajiv Malhotra and his work Decolonizing the civil service th-cam.com/video/0RYS6V76lRQ/w-d-xo.html
Why doesn't your NCERT and Delhi Historians Kabal mention about the falling of status of women due to coming of Islam to India? Obviously, you can't do that because then you would be termed a Communalist and to get through these exams you need to be Secularist Hinduphobe.There is no mention of Hannafi School of Thoughts imposition of Jizyah and Kharaj which led to creation of many of the SC/STs which didn't exist before Islam coming to India.Have you heard about Ashrafization? No you have not but I am pretty sure you will blame cunning Brahmins without even pointing a Finger towards Ashrafism which is responsible for lack of assimilation of Muslims in mainstream and vivisection of Bharat.You blame Manu for Dowry but you would dare not blame the British for bringing in Land Acquistion and other Patriarchal Laws which Veena Talwar Oldenburg has mentioned in her book Dowry Murders.I can go on and on but not like you or your State/Union Civil Service/servants are gonna listen.
