Great video, lots of detail. I have that impact, it might make 100 ft lbs on a good day on level 3. I’d recommend getting the spec and using a toque wrench.

Oem wheel is matte leather, they get shiny from the oil and grease on your hands. Wash your hands often and clean your wheel. My passport had 16k miles, still looked new, I never eat without washing my hands after.

What screen protector are you using on your head unit? I haven't found a glass one for this car yet
The Honda Civic CTR FK2 (we didn’t get) have the red striped indicator on the wheel you been taking about, but I doubt you’ll interested since it maybe cost a lot.

Did you have any problems with the radio settings or the windows not going down, etc. when you reconnected the battery? Because I heard that with some modern cars, if you disconnect the battery without connecting to a “memory saver”, you loose your radio settings, your electronics might be funky, etc.
Is it pretty much the same if I have shift paddles? I have a 2020 sport sedan and the steering wheel came with shift paddles.... any huge difference? I def plan on changing it out with a nicer type r steering wheel soon
A steering wheel puller is also a nice price of equipment that most auto stores rent, if you don’t have an impact or access to one.
So lock the steering wheel in place before taking off? So its easier to align?

Do you have any advice for not tearing up the cable reel? I’m worried about that. I haven’t really seen any tips on that when removing the steering wheel.
I got the same Handkraftd steering wheel for the same reasons, logoless!
You can actually lock the wheel after getting it centered and use a breaker bar on it with one hand I’ve done it a lot

Are the kraftwerks a overall smaller diameter steering wheel?
I just got the buddy club one in the mail today, not huge on the logo but i'll cover it up. Love the feel of it though

Just an FYI.. not saying this in a mean way, just info. The Honda wheel leather wasn’t shiny until after use.. if it was cleaned it would look the same as the new one.. matte and not shiny. It’s hand oil that makes it shiny. Same will happen with the new one. Just needs a clean 🤣

You should check out the Alcantara steering wheel very nice. Also love ur first channel didnt know about this channel until today I'm a type r owner as well love what you've down with the car so far.
I saw those... The only reason I didn't get Alcantara is because they get matted and shiney from the oil from your hands
I have a 2020 Type R with the Alcantara wheel. I thought I would love it, but honestly keeping it looking and feeling nice is going to be a pain. But it is great for flogging it around turns

I have a question regarding the steering wheel. Did this company basically bought a Honda OE steering wheel, filed the bottom and then retrimmed the grip?

Buddy club steering wheel has HUGE 3 & 9 grips like the Ikon Motorsports wheel. They're really not comfortable
I don't think that cheap one is real leather, most likely micro fiber leather. Honda advertises theirs as leather.
