@@CJsReelAdventures Hi CJ, just a thought, when I’ve fished in deeper water over a drop off, I’ve used a Polaris pike float, a great float ledger float, I have used it with a large cage feeder with chopped fish bits in. This is not a criticism of your method, just another string to your bow. 👌🎣🎣🎣
Love me some deadbaiting sessions.... the perrenial hard ground-bankstick placement continues... I alwayscarry both my pod and loose banksticks in the van now.. Runnin for the wrong rod was funny.. 😂 Whats yer PB, mate ?... I'm at 27lbs 12oz and , at 65y.o., runnin short on time to break into the magic 30... but I'll give it my best shot ! Sub &a like from this irish angler 🤗 😎👍☘️🍺
I use to have a rod pod too but it broke so having to use the bank sticks in the meantime 😂 I’ve only had 1 20lber from a canal, come close a few other times but I’m struggling to get another to be honest. Hopefully you get that 30! I’m hoping to get there one day too Thanks for the sub and like! Much appreciated 😊
Hi, the bail arm is over but the baitrunner is on and set really light. As for the drop back, the line still drops back when a fish picks up the bait/comes towards you so still pulls the line through the alarm just as it would if the bail was open
great video, love it when you get a run off a new spot. 👌🎣🎣
Cheers! Nothing better

How come your using the drop off indicators with the bail arm closed am I missing something or is that just completely pointless

@@CJsReelAdventuresI do exactly the same
Looks like you had a braw day for it. Fishing can be brutal at this time of year so have to get out when you can.
For sure mate. Didn’t even know just how warm it was going to be, was better than most of the summer!
