u should try fishing fireballs sometimes... u need to backtroll with a driftsack.. that way u can put a lot of lines out with baits and also cover a lot of water ( i use planerboards aswell as a trolling float behind the boat so i have a bigger spread). I never see uk guys doing this u would probably have a blast and be the only one doing it.
@@CJsReelAdventuresSpro has some good hd fireballs (30/40g) this also works perfect on a baitrunner setup. the only other thing u need is a driftsack and a trolling motor so u can backdrift slowly. A decent sonar so u can make charts and follow the depth contours of the lake really helps target the right areas and keep the bait on good depth.. makes it very effective. Idont get why noone does it.. I broke all my pbs this autumn on the fireball.. even zander and perch. U can also use a 1 ounce swivel weight on a ledger rig and hang that 3 feet above bottom with a single treble, works really well also, i switch between bolth.

Thanks! Was great to get a few proper pike

Great idea, I’ll have to try this some time when I’m out on the boat. Thanks for the comment!
