The scenery is amazing. Love your trust in Canadians. At least you kept the camera running so you could see his every move. So easy to scrape the floorboards when you are used to other higher clearance bikes. I put metal strips under my floorboards to warn me of contact well before the actual boards hit the ground. You said your helmet still hurts but I thought you had said you discovered to put padding over your middle head area to stop it hurting you at the front. I am sorry you had not yet worked out how to make that helmet much more comfortable. I resolved similar issues on mine years ago by gluing foam over the middle helmet area. It is like it was made for me now. Thanks for taking us along with you.
I live here and can tell you the weather in the Alps is very unpredictable despite wichever month you choose to ride them. However, mid July to end August is probably your best bet for several good weather days of riding in a row.
The lake around 14:00 is the Vierwaldstättersee (the one you called lake Lucerne). You are in the area called Zentralschweiz which is where Switzerland was created

At 8:35 in Amsteg, it’s not a prison, but a power plant. You can see pipes running down the mountain that brings water to the turbines hidden in that building

No, it'is not a prison..., it's a Water Powerstation (Hydroelectricty), notice the large diameter pipes coming down the hill, to the left of the complex. Remember the large reservoirs you saw up on the Passtops? Going through that lush green UNESCO Biosphere Park after Lucerne is one (of many) of my favourite biking areas in Switz. plus it is no great distance from where I live in Emmental (eng. Emmen Valley where the cheese is from)!

I’m sure it’s a very good oil. But I prefer 75W 140 gear oil in the transmission and BelRay conventional Primary oil in my primary. I’m sure you’re gonna get 100 comments about oils lol.

The helmet is fine now, it wasn't on the trip. Everytime she thought she had made.a solution, it just got worse later in the day
Scrapping floor boards means you have another 5 degrees to go. It's a design feature. ...

Yes you are lovely to look at, but please wear appropriate biker gear at all times. I had gravel rash after falling off my bike about 50 years ago and I've still got the ugly facial scars to show for it. But i was a care free teenager lad not a sophisticated beautiful lady like you, who I'm sure knows better.
