I like the girl in blue polo shirt. She's so appreciative of our culture.

It’s a shame that most comments address heavily on the accent. Born and raised in the Philippines, my parents being educators never did teach me anything about the American or British english, did not even know that existed when I was a kid. My father was a professor and my mom was an elementary school teacher, emphasized mastery of the English language via PHONETICS and comprehension. Sentence structure and depth of the thought put into the construction of the conversation. Accent is too irrelevant and superficial to even matter. i have been winning essay writing contests since 4th grade and could write English compositions and earn grades of AAA+++ at an American University when I eventually moved to the US. Please count your blessings and be thankful that the Americans gave us the most precious gift of being almost bilingual since birth. So please stop focusing on the accent and dwell on the gift of being able to speak English in the level that we do. We are as much the best English speaker amongst natural born English speakers in the world so count yourselves lucky and stop complaining. I don’t think these Koreans who grew up in the Philippines care about the accent, one girl even stated that WE EXCEL in English.

They have acquired the Manila Filipino-English accent. They are more open and expressive in English compared to Koreans who grew up in their home country. I noticed that those Koreans don't converse in English with each other but your interviewees speak naturally in English like Filipinos do. Their gestures and mannerisms are also very Filipino. They may not be able to fit in so well when they get back home to Korea, but it depends on the individual.

It's sad that other people are even telling Filipinos to appreciate our own culture and don't consider other culture as superior as theirs which is right.

I had a conversation with A Ugandan gentleman and he said the Filipino Telenovelas are a thing in Uganda and that they can relate to our culture more than any other.

If close your eyes and listen the way they talk, you won't be able to identify that they are Korean. Their accents is literally Filipino.

Nice video :) I'm quite impressed with how they've embraced Filipino culture. They sound Filipino, they speak good English, even their mannerisms are Filipino. Thumbs up to these kids.

It's okay to be a kpop or kdrama fan as long as you just appreciate, respect and like their culture but bringing down your own country's culture just because you like other countries' cultures more? uh uh no

Seeking validation - this is one of the biggest problems Filipinos have.
