Nope....pakatotoo tayo na may mga taong mapasamtala talaga sa mga foreigners. D naman nila 1st time pumunta ng airport ng dumaguete dba....at airport ng dumaguete hanggang sa bahay nila. Kaya compare nila ang rate kung bakit mataas ngayon

300 Php is not expensive for four people (local/foreigner) going to a very far airport. They are paying for convenience and renting the whole tricycle.
Yes... 300 fare for 30mins ride. Reasonable na nga yun. Isa pa 4 Silang pasahero at weekend pa. Nasabi nilang mahal kc pag week days medyo mura pa ang pamasahe.

Actually foreigners in the Philippines can buy and own a condo. That would be a great idea if you really want to live in busy city areas like BGC
I live in a city here in Metro Manila and I still find BGC or Makati City beautiful as well. 😂💖
it's a lot more cleaner and I feel like everything is organized. it's very modern which I really like.

Also, majority of the people who work there books ANGKAS, JOYRIDE (an app just like GRAB) to go to work and go home, some has their own motorcycle so "🏍" is everywhere~

A lot of koreans aren't so friendly with each other and sometimes to foreigners as well. I'm pretty sure I saw a statistic about korea having one of the highest suici rate, and thats because of how they treat each other, wether its school or work. Look at KDramas, most of the time you see a bullying scene or unfair treatment at work or something like that. It makes me think that those stuff happen very often in korea and it's pretty sad.

I remember back in the 90's, that area in BGC was just a vast grassy land. We live about 30 mins away from Bonifacio and my Dad and I used to go there to run with our dogs. His friend lived in a small cottage there and it was a peaceful place. Seeing it now as a high-end mini-city is such an amazing experience. ❤

You can visit Intramuros, just pay for the entrance. No need for the tour guide. It's not too big but it is historical and there are notes there for your infos. Expect kids/adults begging for money, you may just ignore them because if you guve to 1, another will follow 😅

Theres a much beautiful mall near MOA the Ayala Mall Manila Bay has East Asian features of China,Korea,Japan.Traffic is worse now in Manila because of the BER season(SeptemBER, OctoBER, NovemBER, DecemBER).It's better to stroll at BGC in the evening where there is more beautiful lights and night markets around.

You should try to go to New Clark City in Pampanga, it's gonna be the next BGC if you want to live in modern cities, there's a also a really big stadium that a KPOP idols will perform there soon.
not worth it for now. there's not a lot going on in new clark city. no attractions like BGC's mind museum or venice grand canal mall in mckinley or indoor activities at MOA. maybe in the future when the city itself is at least 80% developed with some attractions already added.

Try to visit Pampanga at Angeles City and Clark between 1 to 2 hours away thru bus from Manila or where you at. You'll find tons of aesthetic places specially cafes and other restos!! One of the best place for tourists to visit. You won't regret!! ❤

So happy that the amazing Kim Family finally experienced the vibes of BGC! I lived for 10 yrs at most in MM while pursuing my college and professional degrees and reviewing for the licensure exams. While living in big metropolises has its many perks such as its superfluous and humongous malls, I wouldn't trade life in the provinces for it. Needless to say, life in the countryside also has its downside. But I believe they pale in comparison vis-a-vis the stress that living in a big city brings such as traffic jams, floods, and bad air quality.
What used are those cluster of cafe, if you cant afford to sit in and have a salad that cost more than half your daily wage and a drink that is cost the other half of what you make in you 9 to 5 slave work. What is the point of living in a city with Italian restaurants, when you have to get your lunch from a vendor who walks around to enter office buildings to sell pinakbet or abobo on plastic to office workers? A modern city, with habal habal drivers transporting laborers to their cubicles in the sky and jeepney terminals that have people lining up like prisoners marching to a gas chamber. Your post is very much relatable to those who went to elite universities in the megapolis and made their escape after a decade.... But definitely, this megapolis is worth reconsidering. Because the provincial life in this Inasal Republic is also not what it seems.

Yeah, it is a matter of choices and also preference. But Taguig is really not much Urbanized. Sure, it has the BGC, one the best Business Districts over all the Philippines, but if you look around Taguig.
There are substantial parts that still mimic life in the Provinces. It still has fisher folks and large pieces of the lands having simple houses and plus more benefits from the local government with scholarship grants that you cannot find elsewhere in the Philippines.

It's fun living in a high rise condominium... Till an earthquake hits... Trust me... I was living at a unit 26 floors up... An intensity 4 felt like 6 or 7. Definetly not fun! Felt my heart went from normal to 140bpm. I'd rather live in a two storey well built house in Forbes or Dasma.. While being close to BGC. But then I'll need billions of pesos just to live there.😅😳

300 pesos is fair price and NOT because your foreigners especially there are 4 of you and u made it safe and on time. Manila will be more expensive but again not because ur foreigners, its just the economy. Be safe!
Taguig City is really the rising star! This part of the Metropolitan Manila is the combination of Urban and the traditional Filipino living, that is the reason why it is called, "probinsyudad."
The BGC is the perfect city that you cannot find elsewhere, and is indeed part of the future. It will soon be part of the next big thing in Taguig, "the Arca South." Sure, it is expensive but sooner or later it will be affordable to the Filipinos as we transition to a more developed country in the future as the leaders in Asia. 🇵🇭
